Once square files for chapter 11 it’s likely Nintendo will buy them just for Dragon Quest since it’s too culturally important for Japan and Nintendo understands this.
16 is a Hail Mary for the company to save it from financial ruin. There’s no games that can keep it going. But under Nintendo Square would be forced to run a tight ship and would only be able to ship a game once it’s finished because that’s how Nintendo treats all the companies that work under it. No more of these day zero patches and square would be forced to optimize which means less focus ob graphics and more on gameplay as well as not charging $70 anymore so games will be cheaper too

Well let's say you can't afford a good pc and you aren't into Nintendo games or playing on 720p. You don't want an Xbox because it doesn't offer much.
PS5 doesn't have its own games but it has critically acclaimed franchises like final fantasy, God of War and spider man so you're able to play them on Release immediately but it can play any ps4 game + every other 3rd party game like NBA, fifa, cod 4k with stable 60 fps.
So yeah its just that. It's the best console you can get if you want a pc performance without buying one and the games will come eventually and until then you play the games you would play on pc if you had one.
