I keep hearing that there is some SCHOOL TOURNAMENT that's basically the equivalent of the Battle Tower for this generation.

What I heard is that you have to beat all of the gym leader rematches first, before this School Contest (Tower equivalent) unlocks.

Yeah just to confirm - there doesn't seem to be any kind of post-game at all, apart from raids that net you the currency/exp candies/mints and the tournament (4 random encounters, get nothing for winning it just exp/cash). I've been playing postgame for like last 4 hours or so and haven't found a way to efficiently farm EV/IV related materials. There is nothing more than that
Have you tried rematching the Pokémon League. Do they have different reams? BDSP had like three
No league rematch chief, this is what you see when you try to do so. (single line of text, blocked entrance)

Well to be fair, even if swsh's day 1 patch didn't make the games good, it did fix some shit.
BDSP didn't HAVE a postgame until the day one patch. It's cope, but it's not unfounded.
Are the E4 members part of the school torunament or is it just Gym Leaders? Weird if there are GL rematches (with higher levels than the E4) but no E4.
Pretty sure someone said the elite 4 and Geetah are in the tournament with their aces being level 70 and the rest of their team being 68

Are you talking about the post game school tournament? So it gives you money and exp. just like regular Battles? Not Battle Points?

I doubt it's happening but the latest cope is that the E4 and Champion music will be fixed in the patch and also make rebattles/tower accessible, like BDSP

I think all of this is Ohmori's fault. Masuda left and suddenly the game doesn't have a Battle Tower anymore. We thought it was Masuda's fault but it seems worse without him. Ffs.
So no battle tower or BP based system and just a school tournament that gets u Exp and money. Just raid battles where u can get mints and exp candy. Basically

- catch all Pokémon which I assume gets u shiny charm.

Just played through the school tournament just to double check. I've completed it 3 times, never seen E4 members, just teachers and some other npcs. Reward is complete dog tho, 4x 13k in money + rare candy for winning all 4.

Hints towards what exactly? Each major academy char has like a small plotline, its 99% waste of time. The only one I've found to be useful is that history class lad provides you the locations of the 4 ruin mons

Levels starting 63, last fight was like 73 or something around that. Its 4 out of pool of the teachers/rivals and maybe e4( I have met 0 gym/e4, and don't feel like doing this shit again tbh).

So 76 transfer only Pokémon. Besides the 37 legendaries/mythicals that leaves 39 “regular” Pokémon which are the charmander, cyndaquil, oshawatt, rowlet, gen 6 and 8 starters, perserker, Quagsire and what’s the last one again?
Also PLA the 6 new evolution pokemon

Because they probably gathered data on how many players actually used those features and found it to be too low to bother implementing in SV.
