Both, it was because she risked everybody's life for her family heirloom that her domain is still going strong after well over ten thousand years, so in the end she did the right thing and she ended up as a good matriarch for her people. As a matter of fact, they even named their divine beast after her, to honor her memory.

Only played LoZ:Age of Calamity. Doesnt explain any of that in the game.
If this is 10k years in the future and all the other games are myths and legends in the BotW universe (due to time and poor memories), how would one logically come to the conclusion that they remembered the past heroes set 10s of thousands of years past but forget everything else, especially the important shit?

                1. Each race have some sort of method to record their history/legends. (Zoras literally have written history on walls around their domain)
                2. The Hero of Time (OoT Link) adventure is literally the cornerstone of all the mythos of Ganon.

So the rito evolved from the zora in one timeline, but now theyre both individual species in BotW?
Kid Link was the one that "hooked" up with Ruto, so that would mean the adult timeline is the timeline they didnt merge, and the kid link + ganon victory was, right?

What is with this merge shit you're talking about?

        Anonymous

Wikis and info ive read on the history of zelda mention that 2 of the 3 timelines merged and thousands upon thousands of years later we end up with the BotW universe. Its also mentioned that so much time has passed between the old zeldas and BotW that all the events of the past games are now all but forgetton and mere legends and myths.
If thats incorrect, get in touch with your the zelda stans running those sites and get them to fix it.

          Anonymous

Yes actually incorrect and mostly fanfiction, by botw things are so far in the future all games are irrelevant to the point there is no necessity to pick a specific timeline but the point where all content and technically all timeline starts are the events of Ocarina of time which are arguably the most important besides SS in universe.

homie, the making a champion has the events of the Ocarina as the starting point of the hylian recorded history.
Literally the only games directly referenced in BotW are OoT and SS.

STOP READING moronic LIES IT ISN'T TRUE!
Listen to me and listen well, gay. BotW takes place 5 quintillion years in the future of every timeline. So long that in every timeline the events of every games all ended up happening at some point.
And they didn't forget shit about the past completely. They know those things happened. Those sites are wrong, and I can't get in touch with them nor do I care to when anyone who cares should already know the true information.
