I don’t know why, maybe it’s because the beta is just janky as shit, but considering you’re force to fight Lol& afterward and not even ending the ensemble reception beforehand seems to do any good, I’m guessing that whatever the frick you do, by the time you reached ensemble you better be prepared to speed run faster than WR cause you can’t leave the game or save will eat shit and die

Otherwise, if you’re playing beta for the mods on nexus, use that console mod to quickly win every fight as fast as possible (the dialogue at the beginning of the fight will sometimes crash your game if you input win command there, so skip it and then input the command)
Also back your save before going into the reception, I assume this is the jankiest part of the game so your save can go frick itself at any moment for any unspecified reason
And yes, the lol& fight after happens immediately, also following immediately that is the another ensemble fight, also kether realization and whatever the frick else, so be very careful, you don’t know when this game make a stable save
At least, that’s what I’m assuming you have to do, my dumbass just quit during the BS after fight cutscene so my save is probably fricked now

It really fricking fascinates me that the first hit of her 3 hit combo is split into 4 lesser hits of 1 damage each.
I wonder if you can increase the amount of lesser hits with power-stacking and whether slapping on +1 damage modifiers will be quadruped by the 4 lesser hits.

Don't you think it's a missed opportunity that no one has made a series of "receptions" to create both a "challenge" with prebuilt characters and to explore the story of what happened with the guests after they were released?

It's just a thought I have every now and again. Custom made receptions where you control set characters (the guests) usually right after they reappear or a little while after. Just exploring how they adjust to being back in the city, possibly years after they died.
Like you could explore Myo/Nikolai leading the rabbit Team as they're being hunted down by R Corp to be purged for failure.
Or maybe you could say they earned their way back in R Corp's good graces and they're doing a mission for them.
In the former, you'd lose if Myo/Nikolai died, but the generics would be expendable.
In the latter case all your units would be expendable but the ending story would (assuming this could be properly coded) change depending on whether or not they survived the reception.
Basically it could follow any guest, possibly any mix of guests (Myo + Olga) and have some built in conditions you need to meet to succeed the reception. Like a series of challenge missions.
They should do this as DLC, reward the player with unique cards or keypages for the main game for completion.
there's that butthole's Library to Ruina mod. That makes you go through an alternate time-line where Angelica's death formed a bond between her husband and brother that lead to the former not actually going on a Rampage, just beating people up. Now when the Ensemble comes knocking its undistorted, Philip has full ego and Pluto never joined, but Yan did. Also, to frick you over even more, Argalia's brother-in-law also joins, right in front of Angela.
That's not what makes it awful. It's the fact it's a set-deck fight: An unbelievably nerffed Gebura, full Arbiter Binah and nearly Human Angela with only Butterfly, skin, Teddy and Borrowing Heaven but very good resistances.
I don't recommend it unless you like shit like Turbulence Office or Jealous Flower.

I really want to like the Touhou mod but it's just not balanced at all. Marisa and Reimu are cakewalks compared to Sakuya who has not one, not two, not three, but FOUR safety nets (Resistances don't go lethal on stagger/Immobilize all librarians on being staggered, but her knife mobs can still act/Abno cards that grant immunity to status effects AND nullify one fatal blow every three scenes/Heal on hit against targets with bleed, and your librarians WILL have bleed)
There's nothing more demoralising than getting a boss down to 1 HP only for them to heal it back up to 200+ and know for a fact you won't be able to burst them down again

The heal on hit is the most aggregious part of her kit in my opinion. Your librarians are guranteed to have 9 bleed on them every time she staggers,, and she staggers incredibly easily, and the "knife circle" status effect lets her re-roll certain attacks equal to the number of stacks a librarian has. That's pretty much a guranteed 81 HP healed bare minimum.
Even abusing Head pages' auto-heal will only help you so much
The timeline is rather different so it seems we are right near SoL scenario, Gebura gave nearly all her Light and Binah has fully reincarnated and the others are likely sleeping in the light.

I've watched the two other videos on the same channel and while the art is barebones and the gameplay is egregious(but i suppose other mods and straight up cheating can fix that for someone that's in for the story and nothing else), the story seems good enough to justify a download. I've also watched another video of the whole mod in chinese(?) so I can't make out what happened in the ending, but the sudden T corp symbol got my noggin jogging and i think it can become genuine kino if it gets good art and balancing.
Either Roland and Argalia used that one device Olivier had or Angela had her own day 1 restart button and I don't know which possibility is better

One is unstable e.g.o extracted from pre ensemble CC and one post ensemble CC and also one they brought with the light. Basically from what we saw in the game even one child is enough to return his form. But both being merged as one was never discussed in the game. Therefore it's same what if type scenario.
There is no reason to assume Philip would be released as two people, the Crying Children and Ensemble Philip are the same entity, more so than even clones.
You have no evidence to support your own claim. There's nothing ingame that supports your hypothesis.

They'll imply a whole lot, there's a reason why in hindsight it's obvious Roland wasn't the Black Silence but most anons didn't realize until the Art Book dropped.
Philip Split himself a shitton of times in his Ensemble Bossfight, came out as one Flaming Angel like the second phase of his Crying Angels bossfight. All the numerous "little angels" in his first distorted fight became one book. So there's a president that regardless of how many times he splits, it's going to be merged into one book, because it's the same fricking person.
So it -perfectly logical- to make the conclusion that LORE WISE all of Philip became the "Ensemble Distorted" Philip and then HE DIED.
Philip is dead, capitals above for emphasis.

Because Philip joined the ensemble, he reconstituted his fragmented form when he was resurrected. This means he's one of the few guests to truly die.
Oscar in trying to save Philip, killed Philip and ruined Salvador's life.
Stope coping. The booked Crying Children and Booked Ensemble Philip will have definitely merged upon unbooking. It's only gonna hurt more by remaining in denial.

Logic.
Both Myo receptions only give you one Myo keypage and you end up with the books "Book of Myo" and "Complete Book of Myo" Same with other R corp members. It's perfectly reasonable to assume the same would happen with Philip.
The Devs never intended for the players to get the Keypages and Cards of the ensemble. This is because the game was supposed to be over by this point. So using the "Ensemble Philip is separate from Crying Children" argument doesn't work.
Philip upon resurrecting, has his full emotional capability which is telling given his ensemble version was limited due to the parts of himself that he lost. It's reasonable to conclude that upon being unbooked, he was fully reconstituted.
So it is reasonable to assume that Philip is one of the few guests that will have actually died. Likewise, in all likelihood there will only be one Myo that leaves the Library but she will have the memories of both Clones. This doesn't change much depending on how much of a difference in memory existed between the 1st and 2nd Myo. Given Angela says they'll be foggy about their library memories; you can basically say Myo 2 will overwrite Myo 1.

The City runs on suffering. The Head must be farming it from all throughout the City in ways we are not revealed yet, but for what? Is it their own personal Singularity? What was life like before the Head, during the AI wars? The Beholders use that level of ancient supertech to bypass all other forms of counter-surveillance and anti-observation people in the City can employ? How has nobody else leaked the information yet? The Head prides itself on being all human and only human, so surely somebody at some point in time must have actively plotted against them from the inside. What goes in in A Wing of The City?
The Ruins may answer some of these questions. We haven't heard about those a lot, I assume they're free from the Head's influence and probably because they're too dangerous even for them

You're mistaken. Now Angela has an understanding that the library is her EGO and can manifest it's power more completely, Gebura has her own prowess and Binah had full arbiter powers again, plus now she wants to make a stand against the head. And the revival spot and time are random thanks to Roland saving her at the last second from the light, and the Ensemble is 100% fricking died, so is anyone who died outside of the Library.
Go read Leviathan now, the first chapter should show the consequences of Roland's act.

Never worked for me. Heh. Converting smoke in buffs for Red's damage and rolls is actually moronic strategy that I came up with unintentionally. And it works like a charm. Saved me some sanity points.

High stats help but this will not be solution on it's own. You need to know how to handle things what final days will throw at you. If you know that you will only need full facility of agents and only part of them maxed out. Each treat you should have experience to deal with Repeated core suppression gimmick - obviously you should know these if you are here White Ordeals - you know to fight them unless you avoided dealing with Apocalypse Bird or Violet Midnight, and Claw is just easy

Personally i dont even think we gonna go back to "managing abnormalities" anymore, lore-wise LC fricked and all the branches either destroyed or sealed (until limbus goes in and wrecks it all anyway), and it seems too much to reverse-engineer all the tech you need to just keep abnos sealed up and actually be able to get anything from them. Also there is a question if Abnos can even be exploited for anything anymore since Distortions don't have the same properties as Abnos (according to wonderlab) so maybe after WNDD the entire concept of LoboCorp is not doable anymore.

It's weird that Roland (at least in the cutscenes) is always present for Angela's realizations, always there to see her past and everything she went through. But when it comes to his realizations she straight up goes 'lol handle it Tiphereth/Gebura/Chesed i got better shit to do'. Otherwise they have some moments like in the intro of SotC, the Xiao fight, Tomerry, among others.

I actually did have those back when I was filling out central, memrepped them straight out after observation level 4 but I didn't get AiB's EGO unfortunately. You definitely need to come prepared for the mountain, which typically means parking a bunch of your stronger units inside its hallway. If you're lucky and there's enough nuggets there they'll kick its teeth in without you needing to do much of anything.

depends on how late into the game you started the suppression and how many gimmicky abnos you have, but overall i think he's harder because of all the memorization you have to do. netzach is only difficult if you pull a really unlucky abno first (like MoSB or something), and to be honest all 3 suppressions are way easier than hod's
Bring some form of both lightgen and draw. Also smoke if you want to blitz. It's mostly long so you can ramp up emotions. I did Yesod/Netz with Cane/R-corp and Thumb named pages. And that was easy and fast. Binah, Geb and Chesed is absolute cancer.

Basically you take receptions in a random order per library tier and get key pages and combat pages as rewards in addition to money. There are break rooms where you can heal or upgrade pages, shops where you can buy stuff, and random encounter type things like two gangs fighting each other or snipers on a rooftop that you have to defend from
you unlock an additional librarian per completed boss tier and you don't heal between encounters without using mechanics
I recommend it, if it works on your machine. There is a surprising amount of build variety and VERY few situations where you think "well I guess I'm just fricked"

I'm having a similar problem in the Hod realization against Laebreasts. If they don't use their block die then it just gets stored to used against one-sided attacks. Is there any work around to not clash with them? All I can think of is having a lower speed character clash while a higher one crushes her but that's a little hard to do with the currently available speed die.
Use ranged dice, they always go first and harmlessly pop blocks as ranged attacks suffer no stagger from failing to outroll a block.

You can always play to the gimmick and make sure only people with Gifts clash with her, as her dice lose pwoer against giftholders. Just make sure to use those Gift pages before they damage you.

If nothing else I like that there's just three rarities. Most gacha basically just have "the high tier rarity people need to whale for", "the second tier rarity that you usually get one of every 10 roll or two" and "f2pbait/useless gacha filler".
Identities NEED an ultimate ability that isn't tied to EGOs since they are the main gacha mechanic. Just normal skills for Identities is lame as frick and won't sell

Well, i honestly don't EXACTLY understand how Hokma works in LC.
Lets start with your post: he was outside of TT2? But how? If he got reset back to day 1 then he surely had to be in the loop at day 1 already, Ayin doesn't seem to be aging (although im not sure we ever saw X in game except for flashbacks when Angela talks about previous managers). Benjamin says "i wanted to run away from everything but couldn't bring myself to run away far", so i assume that he just hid himself in Architecture team or whatever because TT2 probably won't teleport him outside the facility and therefore outside of time loop, at best it would rewind him back to the moment he stepped into it (if we assume he did in fact leave it and returned).
The only people who seem to be existing outside of TT2 protocol and go in and outside of LCHQ is rabbit team, but i don't think it even matters how would time shenanigans work from lore perspective.
So what im confused about is whats even the timeline of Hokma's life.
Day 1 to 25 (i think 25?) he's technically alive, but Records team still exists and working just fine without Sephira all this time?
Then Hokma becomes a Sephira, but also not, since at his supression we basically kill him for real by stopping time loop to move on.
Them there is that scene where Angela briefs Hokma and Binah on their roles and says that she "wont be visiting them often so good luck" so when could that even happen if Binah supposedly was there from the very beginning and Hokma wasnt(or was he).

Never heard this narrative before. It feels like a random moron anyway, especially when LoR explains to us about the clone law. DD is great to elaborate on more lore about the city from what we have so far, so long as you bother to remember the rest of the side material.
Wonderlab is overall meh, but I still enjoyed reading through it, it has it's ups and downs, so I don't really know why it's THAT hated, outside the fact the characters are purposely made genderless or whatever, trying to replicate how LC never specified it either. I don't think it's due to the artist itself, but I'm not really sure what they work on outside of wonderlab anyway.

I don't know, EGO so far been shown to be a visible physical object while those rings felt more like "battle animation" energy power thing. Manifesting EGO while falling unconcious also seems like a stretch to me.
He reffers to this power as "so this is the power of sin", and limbus cast are "sinners", so unless it's all a plot by Iori to re-brand EGOists(despite her being one who coined the phrase) i'd say this is something different that just feeds on emotions/uses them as energy instead of physical manifestation of such.

I'm pretty sure it's not EGO, but sin, and sin is something entirely different and new to Limbus.
Or rather, it's literally explaining the Limbus gameplay mechanics; the sinners use 'Sin' to empower their attacks and passives, and then they can spend it to activate abno EGOs. (There's also sins effecting your resistances and rates vs abnos, but that's probably something else).
But anyway, the way I saw it, Vergil was doing what the sinners in the combat teasers were doing, channeling the power of 'sin' in order to empower their attacks.
It's probably less powerful than full EGO, but also much easier to use.
Angelica has sound nulling tech, and was the black silence, Argalia dulled the senses with reverberation on top of making a hyper cutting scythe with vibration tech making him the blue reverberation. Purple tear has portals, and Vermillion Cross has a giant flaming cross weapon, only Kali was granted her title based on EGO equipment, the rest is technology, so maybe his eyes have a particular piece of technology in his eyes, much like Roland has with his mask.

That's conjecture though. We don't know if anyone else doesn't utilize sound nullification or reverberation that was never stated, and a flaming cross is basically just a unique looking weapon, but tech flame tech is based on the office a good chunk of the cast makes use of already.
His red eyes don't have to be a unique trait of his, but just something he makes such good use of on top of leaving an impression, it's just the nickname given to them. We have no reason to believe they're special in the first place since he has not once shown to have any weird powers related to his eyes, aside from the fact he his rather stoic, and is always gazing at his target of interest.
It's probably not the technology alone but how he carries himself. He gazes and ponders, he has good instincts, and know how to read people, and kills targets without hesitation, making him stare to evaluate, plus being very stone faced.
He had to wear glasses when he 'sneaked in' on the Museum. And to get past the clerk at desk checking everyone in, he simply removed his glasses and she followed his commands. Probably a fear aura that makes weaker opponents willing to do anything to get away from it?

Just to be sure all of you aren't just pretending. You do know battle passes are literally just "buy to get extra stuff out of the battle pass" right? And not "pay subscription to play the game". The way it works is that you get points by doing stuff in the game, and then those points can be used to get tiers of rewards in the battle, one is free, the other is paid, and obviously you only get access to the paid rewards if you purchase the pass, but you still get free stuff.

I never really saw any battle pass that offers anything ground breaking. The one I play has one, but it's terrible value, and the only thing it really offers at best is a weapon for a lower tier hero (which can be good, but it's way cheaper to just use some secondary currency to get it, since it's cheaper than the rarest stuff), and that's it. I think Genshin does the same, by offering a lower tier rarity weapon near the end of it, but I haven't played in forever, so I only remember stuff from the first 3 months.
Expecting too much goodwill is stupid, but so is assuming the worst honestly. Though I guess at least if you assume the worst, if they prove you wrong it's a good thing.

FGO’s model fricking sucks, the only reason the game makes money with it’s awful monetization, low drop rates and no pity is purely because the Fate IP is huge; there’s a reason no other gacha copies their monetization system, they won’t be in business for long. Limbus is going to have to do something different if they want to make money.

In the most popular gacha (Genshin) it just gives you a few more rolls but a gazillion more EXP/Level up materials you have to grind for. But I'm a day1 player and that shit is worthless to me as I have like 100 millions and 1 billion EXP materials. What people pays for is the monthly "sub" which gives you a decent amount of extra rolls every month and is only 5 bucks.
That said, Genshin is a baby game where you're not required to roll for anything since everything is easy mode. Limbus might be different.
Not all battle passes are equal to be fair. The one on the game I play is just getting a bit more resources, and like one piece of equipment for a specific character, which is not even the rarest type. But in general it's safe to skip so long as you play often enough to get what you need to improve your units.

Another gacha I play, Counter:side, has a battle pass where the paid version offers an "exclusive" unit, but they inevitably come to the normal roster like a month or something after the pass ends.
Alchemy stars skins are in batches 1 is in via pass while 3 of the others are in skinshop

This is pure speculation based on nothing but the DD chapter about the laundromat, but I suspect N corp has a machine that lets people kill their sense of self to better fit in with the city's morals. If you couple it with the identity tech you could feasibly assume they're adding the option of not only killing your old self but getting a new one to boot.

If I had to guess, considering that he's told me that his favorite part of the game was doing the abno fights, it would be that he was just a lot better at coming up with specific setups to counter the realization battles, but had a much harder time with setups for 'genera' receptions' like the distorted ensemble.

Most of the Keter Realization feels like pretty general receptions to me, I went through the whole thing on day 1 with the same team. So that's very strange to me still.

Depends on the gacha. A lot keep going and the story does too, keeping it running after it's over shouldn't be that expensive based on server price, especially if it's making money.
If it's making money it lasts ages, years even. If they do manage to end the story and keep a steady flow of money, maybe they'd expand with extra stuff like post story scenarios or whatever, or just keep it running and doing events for whoever likes it enough to keep playing.

I know a lot of gachas where the rolls are very few but better.
There's no way to tell yet, people are just having a knee jerk reaction for no reason, either because they think battle pass means DLC, or they expected a gacha to not be a gacha.
Also what you should be looking into the gacha rates, which will be displayed in-game since it's now required by law to divulge it. The other thing you should check is how often you can roll just from gaining the currency in-game.
That but I was referring to games where you get like tons of rolls but then the "guaranteed rare unit" is every 15 rolls. While this game could make you roll 5 items at once and one of them is the rare item
Depends on them. I've seen plenty of variations on pity.
Either it's "roll X amount to get X", and it's saved between banners, or it resets per banner.
Or one where it works by giving you a currency you can exchange for for all non limited units available in the game after you amass 300 of it. Said currency is gained per roll, sometimes extra from events too.

Yan is relatively easy. Xiao, Binah Realization, Kether Realization, Greta, Phillip, Jae-hoon, Pluto and the Black Silence all come afterwards and are harder.

i still don't understand how people can find him easy compared to her, his hands have insane rolls and can't even be staggered. xiao is pretty easy to stagger or kill with bleed or binah
just redirect his buffs and he crumples, the hands only each have 200 HP and don't even heal to full when he revives them. Only card of his that's really threatening is the mass attack, and I guess Compress can be kind of annoying by debuffing you but it's not that hard to clash.

His hands are busted even without the buffs. Giant Fist's first roll is barely weaker than Celestial Spear, and then you have to get through a block and a counter because frick you. Lock is part of the rare "strong second die" archetype which is really obnoxious to deal with. The rest have decent ranges with at least three dice and also Shimmering so they get to play them all the time.
Also, occasionally he'll just maxroll his speed while his hands are targeting the same nugget, so all the choice you have will be between getting fricked one way or another.

there are ways to deal with those attacks obviously, the problem is that they demand pretty specific answers that you may not have available 100% of the time. i've had the hands decide to use giant fist three times in one turn and it's difficult to answer all of them at the same time. also the fact that the hands can't be staggered matters because ideally you'd focus one at a time, but it's difficult to do this due to their resistances. at least some of your employees wont be able to damage one of the hands which prolongs the fight
i think if we compare him strictly to xiao, he demands more specific decks and punishes you harder. xiao can be dealt with by simply rushing her down and making sure to only clash the reverse dice on the correct turns. she doesn't have crazy resistances and as soon as you stagger her once, it's basically over. and binah can easily cripple her.

I think in general, which of the three star 'boss' fights people find most difficult comes down to what floors/pages/cards they like to use. I've seen people complain that any one of those three were much harder than the rest, and that any one of those three were easier than the rest.
My personal guess is that the reason that Xiao is probably considered the hardest for most people because a lot of people end up relying on Red Mist's raw power, and get fricked by Xiao's power null turns and aren't able to compensate (because they don't read passives).
Yan does sort of play by different rules that some players have a lot of trouble with, but that also means that there are mechanics that can be abused and turned against him as well.
(Also Nikolai is super great against bosses in general, I love her)

I've tried to use Nikolai but I always end up having to choose beween disposal and buffs because it's hard to run both in the same deck due to the energy/charge costs and I usually find the buffs more reliable

I actually just don't run any charge consuming cards in my Nikolai deck to sort of get around that. She's just there to permanently provide her power and endurance boost and her mark debuff, and occasionally disposal things (since she'll just sit at 20 charge without any charge spend cards).
I would doompost about monetization and F2Playability too much. All new (successful) gachas, or even F2P games, are decently generous, and if El Director wants the game to be successful it's obvious they're going to follow those games and make it F2P friendly.
What you should be worried of is the gameplay not being auto-battle garbage. It has an auto mode, so there's probably some mindless grinding to do, but at least let's hope the boss battles or the hard stages will be a challenge.
Also the plot, but I doubt it will be shit. They could literally make an episode where we watch the Sweepers eat shit and piss and it would be interesting and entertaining.

If you're asking about why Hokma and Netzach are so cold to each other, it's because they're not really friends and essentially just coworkers. Especially considering that the lower sephirot (Hokma and Binah) were more or less isolated from the other sephirot. Netzach would probably be just as standoffish if say, Binah came to visit him and ask him her weird philosophical questions.
If you're talking about why their relations to Angela are different, Netzarch was basically just another Sephirot to Angela, like Malkuth, Yesod, Hod, etc. Just another actor in the play she had to manage. Hokma is a bit different though, since his base was Benjamin. On one hand, he was the only one who showed kindness to Angela and told her that it was okay, on the other hand he was also the man closest to Ayin, who she has strong feelings about. Which is why she was essentially searching for Benjamin's approval somewhere in Benjamin while grilling him about Ayin's sins. So basically while she doesn't care as much about Netz, she has a much deeper connection to Hokma, for better and for worse.
I assumed Netz pretty cold to Hokma because he was tricked into sacrificing himself just for nothing, and while A is the one who did it B probably wasn't far behind. Benjamin pretty much did all the fricked up stuff Ayin did as far as pre-LC goes. Hokma even comments something along the lines "You mad at me because of the past or the present?" and Netz responds "both", i assume they only saw each other at research lab and at the end of LC where they didn't talk.

Since it was pretty much the only way I could justify it off the top of my head. +Netz being stuck in TT2. But he's really mellow usually, instead of the reaction to Hokma where he's instead saying to leave him alone and reluctantly offering a refused drink.
They wouldn't have really interacted prior to so the biggest thing connecting them is Hokma being one of the two guys behind both LC and his death.
Doesn't help Hokma is in my opinion the most isolated of the sepirahs during LoR.

Well to get a colour you really have to be exceptional, comparing grade 1 to 9 technically yes, you can assume the only difference is experience, but also all the connections and reputation you get is what actually allows you to get stuff on premium gear and not just money.
As far as colours go i like to pretend it all ties back to Light and only "selfish" people with drive beyond "just living the life" can achieve it through mental powers or something.

Evade dice recycle infinitely until beaten or against a block die, and restore stagger
Unused defensive dice are saved for later clashes in the same turn
defense dice reduce damage even when they lose, evade dice take the full hit
mass summation adds all the dice on the target page, mass individual goes one by one
you don't need to clash with mass attacks
the order of attacks is Mass -> Ranged -> Melee, determined by speed dice in each bracket
melee dice can be reused when clashing with ranged dice until one or the other breaks/runs out
a counter die (yellow) can be used to clash against an entire single page as long as you keep rolling over the oppoonent, but not again afterwards
you restore all light when gaining an emotion level, but card draw and light restore are important when they become available

don't be afraid to lose a battle so long as you manage to kill a few opponents since you can burn their books and get their pages even if you lose, so you can retry with better equipment. if you are concerned about losing though (such as you not wanting to lose books), just alt+tab and close the application before you lose so you keep the books. also, don't be stupid.

That being said, some cards will remain useful long after you get them. >do missions and abnormality fights as soon as you can, they will unlock cool new things. that being said, a few abno fights (e.g. Queen of Hatred) are particularly difficult, so if you're not able to handle something with your current decks, it can be OK to wait a bit. >two really good things to look out for on new keypages are a lack of weaknesses (the pages you start with are weak to certain damage types) and Speed passives. "Speed dice slot +1" means you can basically take two actions per turn. Action economy is god. >once you have a good variety of cards, you'll want to try and build balanced decks with good card/light economy. generally each deck should have at least 3 big cards that are strong in clashes or deal high damage, and at least 2-3 cards that restore Light (and same for cards that draw, once you get Speed and card economy becomes a concern). This isn't a hard and fast rule and people will likely disagree on the ratios, but just keep the idea of ensuring your decks have a good blend of light, draw, and power. you'll get a feel for it eventually. >focus firing is usually good. a dead enemy plays no cards, and a staggered enemy usually becomes a dead enemy next turn. >read everything. your cards, enemy cards, your passives, enemy passives (ESPECIALLY this one during abno/boss fights). >have fun

Otherwise, if you’re playing beta for the mods on nexus, use that console mod to quickly win every fight as fast as possible (the dialogue at the beginning of the fight will sometimes crash your game if you input win command there, so skip it and then input the command)
Also back your save before going into the reception, I assume this is the jankiest part of the game so your save can go frick itself at any moment for any unspecified reason
And yes, the lol& fight after happens immediately, also following immediately that is the another ensemble fight, also kether realization and whatever the frick else, so be very careful, you don’t know when this game make a stable save

It's just a thought I have every now and again. Custom made receptions where you control set characters (the guests) usually right after they reappear or a little while after. Just exploring how they adjust to being back in the city, possibly years after they died.
Like you could explore Myo/Nikolai leading the rabbit Team as they're being hunted down by R Corp to be purged for failure.
Or maybe you could say they earned their way back in R Corp's good graces and they're doing a mission for them.
In the former, you'd lose if Myo/Nikolai died, but the generics would be expendable.
In the latter case all your units would be expendable but the ending story would (assuming this could be properly coded) change depending on whether or not they survived the reception.
Basically it could follow any guest, possibly any mix of guests (Myo + Olga) and have some built in conditions you need to meet to succeed the reception. Like a series of challenge missions.
They should do this as DLC, reward the player with unique cards or keypages for the main game for completion.

That makes you go through an alternate time-line where Angelica's death formed a bond between her husband and brother that lead to the former not actually going on a Rampage, just beating people up. Now when the Ensemble comes knocking its undistorted, Philip has full ego and Pluto never joined, but Yan did. Also, to frick you over even more, Argalia's brother-in-law also joins, right in front of Angela.
That's not what makes it awful. It's the fact it's a set-deck fight: An unbelievably nerffed Gebura, full Arbiter Binah and nearly Human Angela with only Butterfly, skin, Teddy and Borrowing Heaven but very good resistances.
I don't recommend it unless you like shit like Turbulence Office or Jealous Flower.

There's nothing more demoralising than getting a boss down to 1 HP only for them to heal it back up to 200+ and know for a fact you won't be able to burst them down again

The heal on hit is the most aggregious part of her kit in my opinion. Your librarians are guranteed to have 9 bleed on them every time she staggers,, and she staggers incredibly easily, and the "knife circle" status effect lets her re-roll certain attacks equal to the number of stacks a librarian has. That's pretty much a guranteed 81 HP healed bare minimum.
Even abusing Head pages' auto-heal will only help you so much

I've watched the two other videos on the same channel and while the art is barebones and the gameplay is egregious(but i suppose other mods and straight up cheating can fix that for someone that's in for the story and nothing else), the story seems good enough to justify a download. I've also watched another video of the whole mod in chinese(?) so I can't make out what happened in the ending, but the sudden T corp symbol got my noggin jogging and i think it can become genuine kino if it gets good art and balancing.

Both Myo receptions only give you one Myo keypage and you end up with the books "Book of Myo" and "Complete Book of Myo" Same with other R corp members. It's perfectly reasonable to assume the same would happen with Philip.
The Devs never intended for the players to get the Keypages and Cards of the ensemble. This is because the game was supposed to be over by this point. So using the "Ensemble Philip is separate from Crying Children" argument doesn't work.
Philip upon resurrecting, has his full emotional capability which is telling given his ensemble version was limited due to the parts of himself that he lost. It's reasonable to conclude that upon being unbooked, he was fully reconstituted.
So it is reasonable to assume that Philip is one of the few guests that will have actually died. Likewise, in all likelihood there will only be one Myo that leaves the Library but she will have the memories of both Clones. This doesn't change much depending on how much of a difference in memory existed between the 1st and 2nd Myo. Given Angela says they'll be foggy about their library memories; you can basically say Myo 2 will overwrite Myo 1.

What was life like before the Head, during the AI wars? The Beholders use that level of ancient supertech to bypass all other forms of counter-surveillance and anti-observation people in the City can employ? How has nobody else leaked the information yet? The Head prides itself on being all human and only human, so surely somebody at some point in time must have actively plotted against them from the inside. What goes in in A Wing of The City?
The Ruins may answer some of these questions. We haven't heard about those a lot, I assume they're free from the Head's influence and probably because they're too dangerous even for them

Personally i dont even think we gonna go back to "managing abnormalities" anymore, lore-wise LC fricked and all the branches either destroyed or sealed (until limbus goes in and wrecks it all anyway), and it seems too much to reverse-engineer all the tech you need to just keep abnos sealed up and actually be able to get anything from them. Also there is a question if Abnos can even be exploited for anything anymore since Distortions don't have the same properties as Abnos (according to wonderlab) so maybe after WNDD the entire concept of LoboCorp is not doable anymore.

You definitely need to come prepared for the mountain, which typically means parking a bunch of your stronger units inside its hallway. If you're lucky and there's enough nuggets there they'll kick its teeth in without you needing to do much of anything.

There are break rooms where you can heal or upgrade pages, shops where you can buy stuff, and random encounter type things like two gangs fighting each other or snipers on a rooftop that you have to defend from
you unlock an additional librarian per completed boss tier and you don't heal between encounters without using mechanics
I recommend it, if it works on your machine. There is a surprising amount of build variety and VERY few situations where you think "well I guess I'm just fricked"

I'm having a similar problem in the Hod realization against Laebreasts. If they don't use their block die then it just gets stored to used against one-sided attacks. Is there any work around to not clash with them? All I can think of is having a lower speed character clash while a higher one crushes her but that's a little hard to do with the currently available speed die.
Use ranged dice, they always go first and harmlessly pop blocks as ranged attacks suffer no stagger from failing to outroll a block.

If he got reset back to day 1 then he surely had to be in the loop at day 1 already, Ayin doesn't seem to be aging (although im not sure we ever saw X in game except for flashbacks when Angela talks about previous managers). Benjamin says "i wanted to run away from everything but couldn't bring myself to run away far", so i assume that he just hid himself in Architecture team or whatever because TT2 probably won't teleport him outside the facility and therefore outside of time loop, at best it would rewind him back to the moment he stepped into it (if we assume he did in fact leave it and returned).
The only people who seem to be existing outside of TT2 protocol and go in and outside of LCHQ is rabbit team, but i don't think it even matters how would time shenanigans work from lore perspective.
So what im confused about is whats even the timeline of Hokma's life.

His eyes shined even before he gained his EGO, so I doubt it's that special, or maybe it's special tech applied to the eyes unlike the usual.

I don't know, EGO so far been shown to be a visible physical object while those rings felt more like "battle animation" energy power thing. Manifesting EGO while falling unconcious also seems like a stretch to me.
He reffers to this power as "so this is the power of sin", and limbus cast are "sinners", so unless it's all a plot by Iori to re-brand EGOists(despite her being one who coined the phrase) i'd say this is something different that just feeds on emotions/uses them as energy instead of physical manifestation of such.

But anyway, the way I saw it, Vergil was doing what the sinners in the combat teasers were doing, channeling the power of 'sin' in order to empower their attacks.
It's probably less powerful than full EGO, but also much easier to use.

Angelica has sound nulling tech, and was the black silence, Argalia dulled the senses with reverberation on top of making a hyper cutting scythe with vibration tech making him the blue reverberation. Purple tear has portals, and Vermillion Cross has a giant flaming cross weapon, only Kali was granted her title based on EGO equipment, the rest is technology, so maybe his eyes have a particular piece of technology in his eyes, much like Roland has with his mask.

That's conjecture though. We don't know if anyone else doesn't utilize sound nullification or reverberation that was never stated, and a flaming cross is basically just a unique looking weapon, but tech flame tech is based on the office a good chunk of the cast makes use of already.
His red eyes don't have to be a unique trait of his, but just something he makes such good use of on top of leaving an impression, it's just the nickname given to them. We have no reason to believe they're special in the first place since he has not once shown to have any weird powers related to his eyes, aside from the fact he his rather stoic, and is always gazing at his target of interest.
It's probably not the technology alone but how he carries himself. He gazes and ponders, he has good instincts, and know how to read people, and kills targets without hesitation, making him stare to evaluate, plus being very stone faced.

My kneejerk reaction to the battlepass was panic, but I realized I probably wasn't going to pay for much anyways and this didn't really change that.
90% of gacha has battle passes. Did people assume you NEED to buy it in order to play or something? It's literally just shit you buy to get some extra stuff, not a subscription that's mandatory.

Just to be sure all of you aren't just pretending. You do know battle passes are literally just "buy to get extra stuff out of the battle pass" right? And not "pay subscription to play the game". The way it works is that you get points by doing stuff in the game, and then those points can be used to get tiers of rewards in the battle, one is free, the other is paid, and obviously you only get access to the paid rewards if you purchase the pass, but you still get free stuff.

Battle passes just offer extra resources, and maybe one piece of equipment, but never the rarerest stuff. It doesn't straight up offer currency.

I never really saw any battle pass that offers anything ground breaking. The one I play has one, but it's terrible value, and the only thing it really offers at best is a weapon for a lower tier hero (which can be good, but it's way cheaper to just use some secondary currency to get it, since it's cheaper than the rarest stuff), and that's it. I think Genshin does the same, by offering a lower tier rarity weapon near the end of it, but I haven't played in forever, so I only remember stuff from the first 3 months.
Expecting too much goodwill is stupid, but so is assuming the worst honestly. Though I guess at least if you assume the worst, if they prove you wrong it's a good thing.
FGO’s model fricking sucks, the only reason the game makes money with it’s awful monetization, low drop rates and no pity is purely because the Fate IP is huge; there’s a reason no other gacha copies their monetization system, they won’t be in business for long. Limbus is going to have to do something different if they want to make money.
In the most popular gacha (Genshin) it just gives you a few more rolls but a gazillion more EXP/Level up materials you have to grind for. But I'm a day1 player and that shit is worthless to me as I have like 100 millions and 1 billion EXP materials. What people pays for is the monthly "sub" which gives you a decent amount of extra rolls every month and is only 5 bucks.
That said, Genshin is a baby game where you're not required to roll for anything since everything is easy mode. Limbus might be different.
Not all battle passes are equal to be fair. The one on the game I play is just getting a bit more resources, and like one piece of equipment for a specific character, which is not even the rarest type. But in general it's safe to skip so long as you play often enough to get what you need to improve your units.

This is pure speculation based on nothing but the DD chapter about the laundromat, but I suspect N corp has a machine that lets people kill their sense of self to better fit in with the city's morals. If you couple it with the identity tech you could feasibly assume they're adding the option of not only killing your old self but getting a new one to boot.

If I had to guess, considering that he's told me that his favorite part of the game was doing the abno fights, it would be that he was just a lot better at coming up with specific setups to counter the realization battles, but had a much harder time with setups for 'genera' receptions' like the distorted ensemble.

I'm not really familiar with gacha, but how long does it generally last for? I get it's a continuing service, but like when would you at least expect the story to be finished with? What happens after it's over? Is it just more wacky adventures with the Limbus cast until PM decides to pull the plug?
For years, anon. Gacha stories just keep on going on and on and on. Arknights is 3 years in and there's no end in sight. Honkai is 6 years old and almost 30 chapters in
We can only hope that the diretor still retains at least some sanity and will finish the sinners' story in 2-3 years, with the rest being dedicated to more or less whacky side stories
Depends on the gacha. A lot keep going and the story does too, keeping it running after it's over shouldn't be that expensive based on server price, especially if it's making money.
If it's making money it lasts ages, years even. If they do manage to end the story and keep a steady flow of money, maybe they'd expand with extra stuff like post story scenarios or whatever, or just keep it running and doing events for whoever likes it enough to keep playing.
There's no way to tell yet, people are just having a knee jerk reaction for no reason, either because they think battle pass means DLC, or they expected a gacha to not be a gacha.
Also what you should be looking into the gacha rates, which will be displayed in-game since it's now required by law to divulge it. The other thing you should check is how often you can roll just from gaining the currency in-game.
That but I was referring to games where you get like tons of rolls but then the "guaranteed rare unit" is every 15 rolls. While this game could make you roll 5 items at once and one of them is the rare item

Either it's "roll X amount to get X", and it's saved between banners, or it resets per banner.
Or one where it works by giving you a currency you can exchange for for all non limited units available in the game after you amass 300 of it. Said currency is gained per roll, sometimes extra from events too.

Yan is relatively easy. Xiao, Binah Realization, Kether Realization, Greta, Phillip, Jae-hoon, Pluto and the Black Silence all come afterwards and are harder.
Xiao was super easy after Yan so I hope the other fights you listed are closer to her than Yan in terms of difficulty
I feel like most of the time, people tend to find Xiao harder than Yan
whichever one you do first usually feels the hardest, from what i've gathered from people's experiences

i still don't understand how people can find him easy compared to her, his hands have insane rolls and can't even be staggered. xiao is pretty easy to stagger or kill with bleed or binah
just redirect his buffs and he crumples, the hands only each have 200 HP and don't even heal to full when he revives them. Only card of his that's really threatening is the mass attack, and I guess Compress can be kind of annoying by debuffing you but it's not that hard to clash.

His hands are busted even without the buffs. Giant Fist's first roll is barely weaker than Celestial Spear, and then you have to get through a block and a counter because frick you. Lock is part of the rare "strong second die" archetype which is really obnoxious to deal with. The rest have decent ranges with at least three dice and also Shimmering so they get to play them all the time.
Also, occasionally he'll just maxroll his speed while his hands are targeting the same nugget, so all the choice you have will be between getting fricked one way or another.
For giant fist, use violet blade
For lock, use sturdy defense
there are ways to deal with those attacks obviously, the problem is that they demand pretty specific answers that you may not have available 100% of the time. i've had the hands decide to use giant fist three times in one turn and it's difficult to answer all of them at the same time. also the fact that the hands can't be staggered matters because ideally you'd focus one at a time, but it's difficult to do this due to their resistances. at least some of your employees wont be able to damage one of the hands which prolongs the fight
i think if we compare him strictly to xiao, he demands more specific decks and punishes you harder. xiao can be dealt with by simply rushing her down and making sure to only clash the reverse dice on the correct turns. she doesn't have crazy resistances and as soon as you stagger her once, it's basically over. and binah can easily cripple her.
I think in general, which of the three star 'boss' fights people find most difficult comes down to what floors/pages/cards they like to use. I've seen people complain that any one of those three were much harder than the rest, and that any one of those three were easier than the rest.
My personal guess is that the reason that Xiao is probably considered the hardest for most people because a lot of people end up relying on Red Mist's raw power, and get fricked by Xiao's power null turns and aren't able to compensate (because they don't read passives).
Yan does sort of play by different rules that some players have a lot of trouble with, but that also means that there are mechanics that can be abused and turned against him as well.
(Also Nikolai is super great against bosses in general, I love her)
I've tried to use Nikolai but I always end up having to choose beween disposal and buffs because it's hard to run both in the same deck due to the energy/charge costs and I usually find the buffs more reliable
I actually just don't run any charge consuming cards in my Nikolai deck to sort of get around that. She's just there to permanently provide her power and endurance boost and her mark debuff, and occasionally disposal things (since she'll just sit at 20 charge without any charge spend cards).

I would doompost about monetization and F2Playability too much. All new (successful) gachas, or even F2P games, are decently generous, and if El Director wants the game to be successful it's obvious they're going to follow those games and make it F2P friendly.
What you should be worried of is the gameplay not being auto-battle garbage. It has an auto mode, so there's probably some mindless grinding to do, but at least let's hope the boss battles or the hard stages will be a challenge.
Also the plot, but I doubt it will be shit. They could literally make an episode where we watch the Sweepers eat shit and piss and it would be interesting and entertaining.

If you're asking about why Hokma and Netzach are so cold to each other, it's because they're not really friends and essentially just coworkers. Especially considering that the lower sephirot (Hokma and Binah) were more or less isolated from the other sephirot. Netzach would probably be just as standoffish if say, Binah came to visit him and ask him her weird philosophical questions.
If you're talking about why their relations to Angela are different, Netzarch was basically just another Sephirot to Angela, like Malkuth, Yesod, Hod, etc. Just another actor in the play she had to manage. Hokma is a bit different though, since his base was Benjamin. On one hand, he was the only one who showed kindness to Angela and told her that it was okay, on the other hand he was also the man closest to Ayin, who she has strong feelings about. Which is why she was essentially searching for Benjamin's approval somewhere in Benjamin while grilling him about Ayin's sins. So basically while she doesn't care as much about Netz, she has a much deeper connection to Hokma, for better and for worse.
I assumed Netz pretty cold to Hokma because he was tricked into sacrificing himself just for nothing, and while A is the one who did it B probably wasn't far behind. Benjamin pretty much did all the fricked up stuff Ayin did as far as pre-LC goes. Hokma even comments something along the lines "You mad at me because of the past or the present?" and Netz responds "both", i assume they only saw each other at research lab and at the end of LC where they didn't talk.

Since it was pretty much the only way I could justify it off the top of my head. +Netz being stuck in TT2. But he's really mellow usually, instead of the reaction to Hokma where he's instead saying to leave him alone and reluctantly offering a refused drink.
They wouldn't have really interacted prior to so the biggest thing connecting them is Hokma being one of the two guys behind both LC and his death.
Doesn't help Hokma is in my opinion the most isolated of the sepirahs during LoR.

I get it's probably just a reference to X and how it's probably Garnet with an Ayin identity, but what actually determines the number ranking of the group? Is it random and simply a coincidence that Yi Sang and Faust happen to be number 1 and 2 respectively? Is it a first come first serve sort of deal and Dante was picked to be manager because of his Ayin identity?

Well to get a colour you really have to be exceptional, comparing grade 1 to 9 technically yes, you can assume the only difference is experience, but also all the connections and reputation you get is what actually allows you to get stuff on premium gear and not just money.
As far as colours go i like to pretend it all ties back to Light and only "selfish" people with drive beyond "just living the life" can achieve it through mental powers or something.

Keeping In Stride and Electric Shock are really useful to start
Evade dice recycle infinitely until beaten or against a block die, and restore stagger
Unused defensive dice are saved for later clashes in the same turn
defense dice reduce damage even when they lose, evade dice take the full hit
mass summation adds all the dice on the target page, mass individual goes one by one
you don't need to clash with mass attacks
the order of attacks is Mass -> Ranged -> Melee, determined by speed dice in each bracket
melee dice can be reused when clashing with ranged dice until one or the other breaks/runs out
a counter die (yellow) can be used to clash against an entire single page as long as you keep rolling over the oppoonent, but not again afterwards
you restore all light when gaining an emotion level, but card draw and light restore are important when they become available
that's that, and this is this
don't be afraid to lose a battle so long as you manage to kill a few opponents since you can burn their books and get their pages even if you lose, so you can retry with better equipment. if you are concerned about losing though (such as you not wanting to lose books), just alt+tab and close the application before you lose so you keep the books. also, don't be stupid.

>upgrade your decks regularly, cards from newer fights often have better dice and effects than ones from older fights. Think of equipping new keypages and combat pages like leveling up/learning new skills in an RPG. That being said, some cards will remain useful long after you get them.
>do missions and abnormality fights as soon as you can, they will unlock cool new things. that being said, a few abno fights (e.g. Queen of Hatred) are particularly difficult, so if you're not able to handle something with your current decks, it can be OK to wait a bit.
>two really good things to look out for on new keypages are a lack of weaknesses (the pages you start with are weak to certain damage types) and Speed passives. "Speed dice slot +1" means you can basically take two actions per turn. Action economy is god.
>once you have a good variety of cards, you'll want to try and build balanced decks with good card/light economy. generally each deck should have at least 3 big cards that are strong in clashes or deal high damage, and at least 2-3 cards that restore Light (and same for cards that draw, once you get Speed and card economy becomes a concern). This isn't a hard and fast rule and people will likely disagree on the ratios, but just keep the idea of ensuring your decks have a good blend of light, draw, and power. you'll get a feel for it eventually.
>focus firing is usually good. a dead enemy plays no cards, and a staggered enemy usually becomes a dead enemy next turn.
>read everything. your cards, enemy cards, your passives, enemy passives (ESPECIALLY this one during abno/boss fights).
