So what's the verdict Ganker? Real? Alarmist? French bullshit? Did you turn your PS5 to the side now just to be sure?

>So what's the verdict Ganker
Tell me tell me tell meeee! WE - US - OUR. Normal People.
I would unironically rather trust a schizo autist from here than your average Twitter user
>2 random reported cases out of 30 million
hmm i wonder
All PCs that have been using it for years have the mobo only in the upright position, with zero problems if assembled correctly
Its not widespread at all
xbox red ring of death
ps3 yellow light of death
joycon drift
all were widespread and it was reported everywhere unlike this liquid metal failure
> French bullshit? Did you turn your PS5 to the side now just to be sure?
Hold me brother to do that, lost my job so I don’t have money to buy another of this shit
I've never had any Playstation vertical in my life.
>30M PS5 sold
>Only 2 reports
It's literally nothing.
>Story has completely disappeared after 1 day of panic from one shady source
Seems like a legitimate issue, nothing sensationalist about it
Only place I seen it blo up on is Ganker but a lot of shitposters hate Sony so not really surprising
Give it time. This is not like RROD. Sony even made a statement in the beginning how they tested it for two years. It needs an additional 6-12 more months to fail in numbers.
We know that such a problem exists, however, for now it doesn't seem to be widespread and one of the guys who found out about this thinks that it won't be as bad as something like RRoD.
The way I see it given the evidence we have at our disposal I'd say it's best to have your PS5 in horizontal just to be safe but it's not worth it to drastically change whatever setup you have if it's too much of a hassle for you.
it's just another xbot spreading fud again
only for them to do full defense force when videos started circulating of series x making smoke and giving third-degree burns
the probability of the liquid metal leaking is the same as your car's head gasket leaking
Unless you're covering airflow put it upright just seems like a bad idea in general. More likelyhood something will cause it to tip over accidentally.
it's just a youtuber spreading fud who got covered by linus who has obviously a hate boner against Sony
Nothingburger
as false as the thermal paste in the fat 60gb PS3s dryign up
that can definitely happen
in fact it probably happens to every preapplied thermal paste ever
i just changed thermal paste on my 2080ti a few months ago because my gpu hotspot was in the 100+ celcius and sure it was dried up
applied coolermaster mastergel nano and it dropped down to 70~ c
