>puzzle requires 2 gems
>back track half of the map to get them
>get 2 gem and process to next area
>there is a hole on the wall
>back track 2 rooms to get to the save room and get the crank
seriously how did people find this shit good in RE classic?
you need a lot of patience trust me but it does get comfy
You're not supposed to have an efficient path on your first playthrough. You're supposed to be forced to backtrack if you don't bring the correct items with you. Inventory management is crucial
>Getting filtered by a game children were able to beat
The average zoomer, Ganker
>thread requires reading more than 2 greentext
tl;dr
>seriously how did people find this shit good in RE classic?
By not being moronic?
Why didn't you get the gems and store them before?
because the Black person devs only gave me 6 item slots
You don't need to carry your two braincells in your inventory, they go in your head.
RE was an outright bad game the day it came out, and people give it a free pass. It's bewildering to me.
It's because most people at the time were casuals (console only) rather than enthusiasts (playing the most meaningful gaming era of all time on PC). RE is just so absurdly limited compared to the types of games that were coming out at the time, moving gaming forward, with fast action, not intentional slowness.
Bullshit. What PC games are you talking about? Yeah there were some great PC games that came out around that time, but they were different genres than console games. RTS, FPS, MMORPG, Sim games. The consoles offered much better platformers, RPGs, action games, fighters, and a game like RE was perfectly suited to both a controller and the more cinematic experience of being played on a TV vs. on a PC. Trust me, I was there at the time
it was the dawn of a new age. platforming games were old and not made anymore at that time
That's not really true, 3d platformers were huge when the first RE came out... But I'm not really sure what point you were trying to make. Either way, RE was absolutely one of the best and most unique games of its time and was perfectly suited for consoles.
>Great PC games in the fricking '90
The PCBlack person and his useless toaster are so desperate they are trying to rewrite history, lmao.
Ultima Underworld
>RE was an outright bad game the day it came out
Erm, no.
you Black folk were playing shitty point and click trash when re came out.
This is a terrible game. You can’t even go through the door and walk down the hallway without getting pissed off. People who pretend to enjoy this game are hipsters who secretly don’t enjoy this game. If you ever played it, you will know that this is unplayable.
Play RE4 instead for an actually good, action packed game.
>muh oRiGinAl
decent b8 m8
>he didnt leave healing and ammo in the item box when searching for key items
inventory management is part of the gameplay, learn some risk assessment
Compared to what wiener sucker?
Probably because point-and-click adventure games used to kind of be in vogue and early Resident Evil owes much to the heritage of those games.
Am I going to gave to see this thread every day I get home from work?
Until whoever is shitposting gets bored, probably.
Ive been playing Mikami's gameography over the last year or 2 and his early ones are shit - precisely because of the puzzles, If i have to flip one more tile or push one more crate i'm going to scream. And his obsession with limited inventory (which goes all the way back to Goof Troop) is just irritating.
Kys zoomertroony
Fricking moron
Have you ever watched a horror movie?
How often do characters flee and nearly escape, and realise they have to go back into the scary place they just fled because they forgot something?
Chris? Stahp it!
Wesker, you're pitiful!
>another zoomer filtered by RE
lmao no cap these dead ass boomers think this shit is bussin? Nah brah. On God
I beat the original when I was 12 without a fricking memory card. OP you are a stupid fricking moron
Most of the puzzles don't really lead to anything other than ammo and supplies anyway.
