Why are homosexuals so obsessed with Femshep anyway? All this does is close off the better romance options and her one note, girl boss voice acting isn't even as great as they make it out to be.
Wait, is the fact Vanguard is the best class in the series even up for debate? Has the most combat options to express your own style, Soldier becomes even less useful in ME:LE, and those tech checks you just hand off to a squad member like the jannies they are.

No, charge gives you all your shields back and has a short (but not quite 1 second) cooldown. Nova wipes out your shields, leaving you vulnerable to anything that survives the blast. On low difficulties, you charge in and nova and most things die - anything that remains won't kill you before charge comes off cooldown and gives you all your shields back (and does some more damage, hopefully killing the enemy). On higher difficulties, you get in a trap of charging in and novaing, only for the enemies to survive and vaporise you before you can get your shields back.
its been a while since the last time i played, but i remember face-rolling the entire game with my vanguard build on the highest possible difficulty.
even on the highest difficulty nova one-shots everything except the blue artillery monsters with the golden health bar - but i just clicked my mouse once to shoot it with a shotgun in the face when it survives my uber-nova nuke.
good God vanguard was so much fricking fun to play.
playing anything than bio god in ME1 is cringe
with at least 50% CD reduction items, and the fact that you can actually juggle enemies since ME1 physics are not cucked like ME2, biogod is the only fun path
its a bit slow without CD reduction, but low level gameplay is boring for all classes

the infiltrator class and the vanguard are my favorites. If you know how to use the abilities of the infiltrator, the Gameplay becomes interesting.

oh yeah and the screeching banshee b***hes also survive the nova-nuke, but a shotgun blast in the face solves the issue.
Vanguard is fun but on Insanity it's difficult in ME3 and pretty much a non-starter in ME2
