Completely unrealistic because they're carrying around a handheld torch which operates off of mystery electricity that also uses no filler onto doors that are made from any material all while a zombie horde is directly coming for them.
At best they're using a propane torch but that would take waaay to fucking long.
Basically the torch makes no sense, it can weld anything, it has no obvious energy source, and it does it fast despite being handheld with no filler.
also it could be a mini oxy acetylene torch, but the point still stands
