>replay deus ex
>having fun
>great starting levels
>good characters
>interesting plot
>get to the end of the third mission
>sent to mj12 prison
>immediatley lose all desire to play
>give up
>wait 6 months
>repeat
Don't know why but I just cannot will myself past this part of the game it just feels like it slows down so fast
dude just escape it
>giving up right before the best part
Not that I haven't been in your shoes but you really haven't seen shit yet
I've never made it further than the hedge maze.
This is me. Not because of difficulty but because I am an alcoholic
>start drinking while playing
>heavy drinking after Hong Kong
>blackout drunk by the the giant ship
>passout after hedgemaze and in some sewars
I get lost in Hong Kong every time I replay it. I wander around like a dipshit for an hour looking for Tong's compound. That was one nice thing about the PS2 version - the segmented maps made it easier to navigate and memorize.
>demoralized by mj12
oof
escaping mj12 is worth it for the hong kong but everything after that is 50x worse than mj12 prison
I usually start losing interest by the time I'm underground in Area 51 but it's so close to the ending that I just force myself through it.
For me it's the missile silo. It's one of the most boring areas in the game and it interrupts the plot so you can go push a button.
For me the beginning (liberty island is meh), mj12 escape and hong kong are the best. It's the Paris part that tires me.
Why not just download the saves to skip the uninteresting part?
>why not just abandon your build and play someone else's halfway through
do zoomers really?
Weird.
The MJ12 base is one of the most hype moments of the entire game and arguably the part where the game truly starts.
MJ12 and the hong kong sections are unquestionably the peak of the game
It's GOTE (game of the eternity).
MISTA JAY CEE DENTON
IN ZA FRESH.
On what difficulty should I play this game?
Play on Hard like the US Marshalls
dont forget to put points into swimming to unlock hidden areas.
breaking out of mj12 and reaching hong kong feels more like the real beginning for me. but it does take a lot to get there
