A great game that has alot of actual deep hidden mechanics and intricacies that gets ignored because the community is too smooth brained to figure them out. It's also an actual challenging colony sim as well, when in DF all you need is a plot of plump helmet spawn and a draw bridge and you win the game, i just wish you could actually talk about the game on this board though.

Yeah Rimworld is totally different. All I need is a hallway with sandbax and vertically stacked doors and you can set aggression to 10000% and the enemies will literally just queue up and crawl through that one corridor while they get shot to death. Shut up.
What I don't get about this game is the storyteller business. I have played for like 60 hours and tried all three, but the game doesn't significantly change. It is just the type and frequency of raids and events, there is no "story" at all. Pawns talking to each other is also just a big load of nothing, they might as well just have stats popping up "Social +1, Social -1" instead of these random "conversations" they have
every time you stomp those... KOOPAS... i want you to imagine their story. how did they get here? why do they want to stop mario? how do they feel now that theyve failed and are now careening out of control smashing into their allies with their own body?

Until you get a raid event in witch they drop pod directly into your base or use sappers

play on any story teller bur randy if you're doing solo, Randy loves giving out aids bombs randomly to your colonists compared to the others.
