Rocket League is one of the best competitive games currently. It's highly skilled, fun, has virtually no luck involved and all the cars are basically the same so there's no unfair advantages. So why doesn't Ganker play it?

Even random gacha games have generals on /vg/ and rocket league doesn't.
Played it once, was cute for an hour or so but couldn't hold my interest. I prefer actual racing instead of sports shit.
Racing is a sport peanuthead
>Rocket league
>Racing
Ganker is a special place for special people
I hope you know about Trackmania. Nations is free.
Hot Lap League is an alright pocket version
reddit game
dropped the day epic bought psyonix and it looks like I made the right choice
I used to play this with my ex then got mad at her when we got clapped in gold 2v2s, I should’ve been nicer to her
i made my ex online gf cry over league
she was a stupid e-prostitute anyways and now gets trainrolled on conventions according to her steam profile
also i sent all her nudes to her brother and her whatsapp group
frick you augusta
Post them ITT
she was 15 and i was 16 at the time so this would be illegal
also dont have them anymore
she had a nice ass and pussy but personality wise was super vapid and would get mad at me for not knowing some e-celeb from youtube like holy frick
Hispanic moment
iam from kazahkstan which according to google makes me half asian
Where do you think you are, OP?
RL Sideswipe was hella fun for short breaks when I used to play it
I heard they left steam, they come crawling back yet?
/v/'s lack of appreciation for Rocket League is proof of how this board is insufferably casual. It's like "what, this game is fast paced, nuanced and greatly rewards skill and ingenuity? Then it's just a zoomer game lol"
its a good game but matchmaking bs makes it a chore to play
That’s only a problem if you’re gc and above/ live in a 2nd world country
I reached a point where I cant get better or worse, but the game keeps placing me in losing matches, casual matchmaking must work by hours played. Im constantly expected to bail out newer players. Oh and "duuuude" "bro like.....you're supposed to". Frick off with the fake rules or I will own goal all game.
i turned chat off period
>team based
>sbmm
>pc advantage
>orcane only
Any car is viable.
>sbmm
How is that a negative? Especially in a game like this?
sbmm is a negative in general for any game
>t. gay who only plays to shit on shitters
>Not being a Fennec enjoyer
its not fun knowing ill lose the next game because the dev wants me to keep playing forever for profit
Octane: The game
I just played Rumble, but I got bored of it and don't play it anymore. I do play Sideswipe on my phone sometimes though, it's that 2D Rocket League. Maybe it's just the novelty but I kinda think this is more fun in 2D
It's not on Steam and I'm not downloading another launcher to play it
Probably one of the most fun games, just bait people with "What a save!" when your team scores or "Nice shot!" when they miss and wait for them to be salty in chat then report them. Also report "inappropriate" clan names for ez bans.
I did, but it was stolen from me.
>epic chink league
i just like playing car soccer (._. ), there's no game close to it
>virtually no luck involved
I know I’ll be called a schizo and told to get good, but I disagree with this. I’m convinced this game does some really weird shit sometimes. The amount of “lucky bounces” I see gets unreal. I’ll go on a winning streak for a few games and then get absolutely destroyed. I know what you’ll say
>that’s just SBMM! you’re playing better players!
Nope. The skill basically feels about the same and sometimes they’re even worse. What feels different is the amount of times I hit the fricking post and the amount of insane bounces the opposing team gets. It happens way too often for it to be random.
git gud
literal silver mindset
I quit it 6 months ago. While the gameplay is still great, the game will never be as good as it was the first 2 years after release.
Be aware when the ball is spinning when its hitting a surface or car, that can frick you up when trying to read where its going.
I dropped the game when they implemented epic accounts
The games requires to press each button on the controller at the same time in different ways, I am very bad at that because of poor coordination with my fingers. Also racing games breack the R2 button.
I played it until they removed all the fun maps and doubled down on e-sports and then there was the whole epic fiasco which was the last straw for me
What a save
got stale for me honestly, its been out for way too long. I only demo and trash talk whenever i play these days
>virtually no luck involved
Probably true for people who are very good at it.
At my skill level, though, I can barely predict where the ball is going to go when I touch it, so it's hard to make interesting plays and when something useful happens it feels like luck. It's also infuriating to suffer a goal from what I perceive as being luck from the other side.
Any diamonds in chat?
Me, I hit champ 1 once, through playing a shitload of bad players in the early hours and sit at d1 in 3s and d2 in 2s I have no mechanics at all
