A simple turn-based game that guides you through set stages with a treasure hunt. You can choose how to resolve each stage by picking corresponding dialog and the game tries hard to accommodate diffrent builds, but mostly requires specialisation in one of the playstyles combat/engineering/talking or stealth. The outcome in stages can vary widely, but very little carries over into the overarching story.
The combat is simple but keeps interesting with a low time to kill and some usable items. Overall its a choose-your-own-adventure that stands out with an interesting premise and zero-sex writing.
Niche things have to rely on enthusiasts ponying up. It's a thing that won't appeal to a general audience at all, it's not gonna fly off the digital shelves like a BG3.
>They said they were going to increase the price as it got closer and closer to final release.
The more someone does this, the more likely I am to get the game for free.
I sincerely hope you die. Pirating a niche, independent title like this is extremely unethical and people like you will be the reason why we don't get another game from them.
AoD had a kinda cool setting so I could put up with the dev's mega autistic approach to character progression and skill checks, but this new game does nothing for me, the setting is boiled water and all the characters are just different shades of gruff dude.
I like it a lot, much better than AoD decadence imo, but the title seems divisive for whatever reason. Having played all of Iron Tower gamer I don’t see the combat as that different and their design philosophy still holds very strong across titles.
>hardest difficulty mode
Bro, it’s literally the intended difficulty. Hero mode was added because casuals kept bitching and moaning. Doesn’t sound like you’ve ever played an Iron Tower Studios product or even like what makes them unique.
I'm guessing there will be no equivalent of AoD god ending, wouldn't make sense really. Maybe become the most advanced cybermonk or some shit like that
I took out the cybermonk hitsquad, 1v3'd a robot with two plasma turrets, and took out a Protectorate warteam led by their top enforcer: i'm already beyond them
>pirate
Just buy it on GOG
DRM-free with a 30 day no questions asked refund policy. People who pirate games like this are literal scum of the earth tbh senpai.
the more niche something is the more everyone interested in niche thing has to pay. Blame the normies for having shit tastes and get a job so you can support what you claim to want you cheap cunt.

Vince, I really like your games but shilling this hard just makes it impossible to talk about them here
Until you charge so much that nobody is willing to try, we're not talking about some highly specialized piece of machinery, it's a video game in an extremely saturated market
40 bucks for a turn based top down indie nu-com strategy game with some dialogue choices and no voice acting? That's not enticing
Underrail is in the same category and costs less than half as much while having arguably more bespoke graphics
Early Access.
Didn't stop bald gay 3. It's still in ea.
>Baldur's Gate 3 GOTY
>70% hasn't even reached finished it
Many such cases.
yes but how much gay sex romances does it have??
Someone give me a serious review of this game, I'm tentatively excited.
Baldurs Gate but in space
Not as good as Age of Decadence
Why's that?
I just don’t like the combat as much

>zero-sex writing
You have my interest. Such rare sight these days.
Is it approaching being done?
>party-based
boooo. being solo was a plus of AoD
You can lone wolf if you want. You'll need to plan against psychics though, they are a bitch when alone.
Is there a solo mode option like in Dungeon Rats where you get extra attribute points to compensate?
Your compensation is you get all the exp to yourself. You level slower with companions. There's also a perk for lone wolves.
Are the women topless like in AoD and Dungeon Rats if they have no armor? This is very important.
is it finally coming out
Yes, I'm sure a Steam indie early access game #87232 is going to win RPG of the year.
it's actually coming out soon
It comes out tomorrow
It's already out actually, the whole thing, just in beta, as in they're still patching it but you can already play and won't have to restart.
You need to go back to your trannydex.
Romance?
I just want more scifi/cyberpunk rpgs fuck fantasy slop is so boring
>40$
What
I was expecting this to be like 10-15, this is giga indie jank. Have the devs/publisher fallen off a horse recently?
indie jank hasn't been $10 for like a decade now
They are a month away from bankruptcy and desperate
So about the "evil AAA companies" being the only ones doing this...
Niche things have to rely on enthusiasts ponying up. It's a thing that won't appeal to a general audience at all, it's not gonna fly off the digital shelves like a BG3.
That's why I bought it back when it was like 20 bucks. They said they were going to increase the price as it got closer and closer to final release.
good goy
>Good goy
>When I bought something when it was cheaper, knowing it would raise in price at a later date
Explain your reasoning.
>They said they were going to increase the price as it got closer and closer to final release.

Anon, are you retarded, this is literally every Early Access game, less content = lower price but you get grandfathered in if you buy early.
Name 3 reasons why it shouldn't be 40$
Low production values, small team, short experience
just pirate it
I sincerely hope you die. Pirating a niche, independent title like this is extremely unethical and people like you will be the reason why we don't get another game from them.
Please, I haven't even finished AoD yet
of what year? it's not out yet
This year, it releases tomorrow.
buy an ad, nagger
>scifi
>can't even have my own spaceship
eugh
Okay game but pretty unremarkable, reminds me of pillars 1 but without a single memorable character or ost.
AoD had a kinda cool setting so I could put up with the dev's mega autistic approach to character progression and skill checks, but this new game does nothing for me, the setting is boiled water and all the characters are just different shades of gruff dude.
Seems you lack imagination and appreciation.
I like it a lot, much better than AoD decadence imo, but the title seems divisive for whatever reason. Having played all of Iron Tower gamer I don’t see the combat as that different and their design philosophy still holds very strong across titles.
So this is what 40 dollars gets you these days huh
Seems they ran out of money
15-20 hours is a speech 10 play though. It’s way more with combat build and intended underdog difficulty.
>you can draw it out by playing suboptimally and/or on the hardest difficulty mode
meh, that's not content
>hardest difficulty mode
Bro, it’s literally the intended difficulty. Hero mode was added because casuals kept bitching and moaning. Doesn’t sound like you’ve ever played an Iron Tower Studios product or even like what makes them unique.
thank god for codex because otherwise I wouldn't know about it because you cunts don't talk about video games
How's the ending?
A godly genius like my character is deserving of something out of his herculean deeds.
I'm guessing there will be no equivalent of AoD god ending, wouldn't make sense really. Maybe become the most advanced cybermonk or some shit like that
I took out the cybermonk hitsquad, 1v3'd a robot with two plasma turrets, and took out a Protectorate warteam led by their top enforcer: i'm already beyond them
Oh yeah? Well, I'll pirate it and see for myself instead of taking your word for it.
>pirate
Just buy it on GOG
DRM-free with a 30 day no questions asked refund policy. People who pirate games like this are literal scum of the earth tbh senpai.
>buy it on GOG
>Paying money for free stuff
>incentivizing DRM
have a nice day. I don't mean that in the unironic sense.
>38,99
yeah no, cut that in half then we can talk
