>Writing Gameplay is much more important, especially with how volatile writing quality is and how rare it's experienced and how much the player has to experience to have storyworth.
Sandbox gaming is never going to be the frontrunning genre in gaming. At best it will be one of the larger niches. It takes a certain free-spirited and independent mind to see the value in and enjoy sandbox gaming (whether tabletop or vidya). Truth is most normies are incapable of these things and not only see nothing wrong with but actually require shitty linear handholding games in order to function.
Already happened to a limited extent with Ultimate Online, Star Wars: Galaxies, etc. Everquest Next was also going to be a modern rebirth of the sandbox mmo before it was cancelled. Probably a lot of other small indie mmo's I haven't mentioned either.
games plateaued in 2007
There have been better games since 2007 than there were before 2007.
ha, name one
ARK. In what other game can you build bases, tame creatures, gather, craft, trade, PvE, and PvP?
if that's your thing i guess, what year was that one? video games officially plateaued then, ok?
It's simply a realistic, lastingly playable experience. Economy and fun gameplay is what games should be.
minecraft.
terrible thread. do better.
>minecraft.
I don't think MC has anywhere near the playability of ARK.
>terrible thread. do better.
My other threads are getting deleted.
>I don't think MC has anywhere near the playability of ARK.
kek
Not a rebuttal.
your assertion is just so preposterous i am compelled to laughter
>"I like building."
It isn't compelling gameplay. A shooter is much more skillful and rewarding.
for sure for sure, see enemy, aim down sights, shoot, repeat
>"What is a PvP environment?"
Using a different font doesnt make your shitty threads any more inviting or discussion worthy.
Frick off, Ian.
>"What is a Jeopardy clue?"
You don't know how jeopardy works you moron
Also the awnser is What is Writing
>You don't know how jeopardy works you moron
Meaning?
Meaning you are a moron
>Writing

>storyworth
Which largely comes from gameplay.

>Sandbox gaming is never going to be the frontrunning genre in gaming.
