thinking of selling a bunch of shit to exchange for a New 2DS XL but not sure if I should bother with them or just throw it up on eBay
I really like CEX so I'd probably trade it in there. They tell you how much you'll get on the site, and all the shit you buy from there has a 2 year warrenty.
You will almost undoubtedly make more money on ebay. Just depends if you can be bothered with the hassle of listing and posting it. I just recently sold a chunk of my old Gamecube games (I can just emulate them) and it paid for most of a PS5.
The advantage of CEX is that you can just get their instore credit which is probably more than what you'd get on eBay for real money

Bought a N3DS XL the other week for £140. Condition was amazing, just a scratch on the top. However, bought a discounted regular white N3DS online and it was fricking beat.

Yes, in store for XL, they let you look over and over at it. Online for N3DS. Discounted range for both.
To add, to pass as discounted all it needs is a missing stylus, but can range all the way up to scratched screens, discoloured, unclean.

Never seems worth bothering as you get frick all money. But then again, faffing with ebay doesn't justify the slight profit you make either.
It's not so bad, you lose a lot to ebay, paypal, delivery costs when selling on ebay so if you're prepared to accept vouchers to get something else it works out about the same without all the hassle

I will admit I enjoy pouring over games listed by highest price first and seeing what goes for silly money more than I should. Then seeing how far I have to scroll before finding something I own/owned. Wish there was a way to filter all those shitty collector editions out of newer systems though, makes it annoying to see the actual games people are after.
