Convince me to finish this game. Does the story warrant that shit combat?

The story borrows a lot of beats from previous Xeno- games (Gears, Saga), but with a heaping helping of shonen anime tropes. If you've played a Xeno game before, you'll see the plot coming twenty hours ahead while the main characters keep asking each other base morality questions like "I couldn't kill to protect the greater good, because killing is wrong, I'll find another way to win". If you haven't played a Xeno game before, it's derivative enough of mainstream JRPGs that you can still see most of the plot ahead of the pace it presents it
If you're trying to play Xenoblade, you're best off immersing yourself in the hub missions for a couple hours at a time, only doing the combat when you have to, and using your funds from side missions to invest in high-level gear to trivialize the main story combat
The combat gets a little better once you chain the statuses together, but it's not the gold standard of the genre
So it’s just a bunch of shonen trash? I was under the impression that this game was a must play. With a great story and world. Oh well, just gonna delete it then.
Clever trolling, trying to make the tard have as little fun with the game as possible.
No one cares. No one is going to "convince" you to finish the game.
Eat a dick, you got filtered.
>Does the story warrant that shit combat?
No, the gameplay experience is the best part.
>Convince me to finish this game.
What do I gain with that? If you don't want it, don't play it.
The combat is good. Not amazing, but one of the deeper MMO-like combat systems. You're just an ADHD tard.
>MMO-like
>good
You’re the tard buddy
Guaranteed the games you play are braindead compared to Xenoblade.
I’ve been playing into the breach and Tetris for weeks, which have far superior gameplay to this piece of shit
How is this supposed to disprove the other anon's statement? Both games are braindead easy depending on the mode you play.
Both of those games have better gameplay than xenoblade. MMO-lite shit will never be good
The combat is indeed one of the weaker parts, but the world and exploring that world is absolutely amazing. Also very cool aesthetics
The game is very easy to overlevel by playing the game casually with some side quests so it is fairly easy to beat the base game.
Souns like a skill problem, buddy.
You should probably give up.
>>boot it up
Sounds like piratefag talk
summon bolt
summon copy
summon earth and discharge
summon fire and discharge
summon ice and discharge
sit back and relax
I wish Melia could have gotten into Smash over 2 more swordfighters.
It doesnt get any better. Even after playing for 30 hours the combat is shit (I gave up then) and the story just gets worse and worse.
Xenoblade 123 are the types of games tendies will die on a hill for because their desperate to claim their console has a good jrpg of it's own when it doesnt but honestly wtf do you expect from people that are happy to pay Nintendo for a subscription service
>Convince me
Why are so many retards incapable of making their own decisions? Play the game or don't, who gives a fuck.
Enel thread "shit on any game that isn't 2" thread.
Xenoblade games have a really slow start with the combat. They all have systems on top of systems and they wait a long time before adding a new system. Dont judge the battle system on the first few hours
Explain what your issue with the combat is. Also, this game, while good, is better understood by the context of its release, which was a time when JRPGs across the board didn’t know what to do in the wake of the HD era outside of making hallway sims with pretty graphics and battle systems that played themselves or were the same old shit. People, however, did have some issues with the combat.
It's as cookie cutter as a JRPG can possibly get and only had the good fortune of releasing in the middle of a drought of them and on a console that was badly hurting for non-shovelware games. You're missing nothing except repetitive MMO quests and a boring plot with the most absolutely retarded twist ending.
Really good music though.
XB1 is like one giant korean grind that never ends assuming you want to 100% it. a perfect time wasting videogame just like xcx and shitty mmorpgs.
Unironically filtered
>Convince me
no
I won't convince you for shit, get the fuck out of here, gay.
The combat is fine, you just have shit taste
if you're playing XC:DE put the game on casual mode
