It's someone intepreting hiragana as stylized latin characters. ぷ = i j i, よ = d k.
At first I thought someone had just typed random keys as a placeholder for the title and literally forgot about it before printing, since I've often hit the old lkjkljljlk myself when trying to type random characters. However the d is on the other side of the keyboard, and then that pattern repeats again, so yeah.

Ironically Sega didn't impose the same restrictions Nintendo had with it's licensees. Which stipulated that any games developed for the NES/SNES had to be exclusive for a period of two years. And people get pissed when Sony signs the latest Final Fantasy to just one. This is why consoles damaged gaming in the long run. Unnecessary restrictions that hurt consoomers.
