I keep getting the desire to play the game again but my account is completely maxed and has every item you can get outside of phats. I just can't bring myself to play again even though the game had been such a huge part of my life forever.
I used to love playing while i work from home. I would just fish or set up in the nightmare zone and work on getting to 99
I got 99 in all the combat states besides magic and ranged but i have no desire to play anymore after they went full throttle on making progressive politics part of the game.
I did everything i wanted too anyways, got the 99s, did some godwars and bosses and got some armor i never had. No point in paying them if their goal is to just shit on 21 year old quests.
I feel the same. I got 99 in strength and 99 in mage about 3 years ago. I was working on getting 99 in woodcutting and I just felt like there was no point in playing and that I was wasting my time away. It wasn't even enjoyable. Just picking the best XP methods and grinding away while you do something else in the background isn't fun. I don't know why I ever thought it was.
Then they started doing that weird libtard shit.
I was mostly playing just to see things i didnt get to see when i was a stupid kid doing stupid shit along with finishing some quests i couldnt do at the time.

Now that they are changing a lot of the older quests to be less "offensive" whats the point? I was playing to experience the older content and if theyre changing the older content what are we doing here???

THIS right here is what ruined the game. Back in 2005 or so, no one cared about being efficient. Everyone just played the game how they wanted. Nowadays, people only care about getting the most XP/hour, and it's not nearly as fun as it was before.

most skills aren't even designed around it, look at any of the skill progressions.

I dont think any of the skills really do anything novel past 90 except blacksmithing and maybe agility
They do in RS3
slayer has some (garbage) monsters post 90.
Most stats are just a flex to level beyond 80 or 70.
