Elder Scrolls 6 is going to suck, sorry

>series hasn't had a net gain in RPG mechanics since Daggerfall
>using the same engine since Morrowind
>each game buggier than the last
Does anyone really have hope for Elder Scrolls 6?

I hope it will have all the new featured introduced in Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.

As cool as building shit would be, I feel like they would try to force it too hard. Weapon/armor upgrades would be neat though.

Oh you better believe they're gonna force it, and you're gonna take it.

might be neat if they do it kinda like Black and White did stuff
things just procedurally generated from actions you did, being a god and all
wait SimCity is a better one
like you put a "water thing" in the ground to "build" a river but you don't control the flow and it just does its own thing
        wait
that's Minecraft, im talking about Minecraft
what if it was Minecraft mixed with Daggerfall

Frick. I unironically want a Daggerfall total conversion mod for Minecraft now.

Yes. Bethesda games are shit games, but they make the most fun worlds to explore

Personally I dont feel worlds where everything is procedurally generated and/or level scaled around the characters level is fun to explore. Why explore that dwemer fortress over a bandit cave when they are both the same level and they both offer a randomized chest at the end?

I wish they toned down the level scaling a lot and had actual decent game mechanics and balance so the gameplay was engaging and fair even if you were a low level vs high level enemies. I want to explore high level areas as a low level and abuse every trick in the book to get some power spikes like a glass sword 5 levels before im meant to or something. similarly how in morrowind you could chug a bunch of alchohol to gain more strength and use scrolls to buff combat abilities. But not like morrowind (and skyrim/oblivion) where the trade skills are op and break the game if you power game them.

bethesda only understands cost cutting and corner cutting

es6 will be on the same engine but updated slightly, and it'll have all the bugs, all the terrible writing, all the dumbed down mechanics that the series is well known for, and idiots will buy it up anyways because the company knows how to market to morons and that sole fact keeps them in business despite having an inferior product to the entire rest of the market

      >all the terrible writing
If they re-assigned that one homosexual writer who is Todd's bff and hired the guy responsible for New Vegas it would work out.

I don't think this is a one man job dude

Lead writer has a lot of influence on how the final story, quests and dialogue turn out. FO4 was precisely so shit because Emil Pagliarulo is a talentless shithead - Far Harbor had better writing and it was the one dlc he didn't have much to do with.

elder scrolls would benefit from a different game company and different game engine all together.

sure, if I wanted a completely different game to elder scrolls.

Since no one make games like Bethesda I can't expect another company to start even when given the project.

Frick no. They need to retire this shit engine As I cannot bear the robotic 80's animatronic animations anymore. Cant climb ladders in first person, fighting is smashing one button, picking up items or leaving them on countertops causes a physics explosion. I could go on and on but it's just bullshit that other games have done what Beth is still struggling to do from the looks of fallout 76 and 4. People who go all in creating their alter ego in this game legit have identity issues and that's the community these games thrive off. Fuxkkng cybertrannies,.

    >each game buggier than the last

But that's an outright lie. Daggerfall to Morrowind to Oblivion to Skyrim were each far more stable than the previous release. Daggerfall especially was so bad the main quest originally couldn't be completed.

    >>using the same engine since Morrowind
Unreal Tournament '99 uses the same engine as Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

The Unreal engine has had fundamentally massive overhauls with each iteration to the point that it is barely recognizable. Bethesda's engine just has some extra shit haphazardly slapped onto it for each game.
