Seriously. Why is there no fighting one piece game? They've got 15 years of characters to catch up to.

There are a bunch, with Grand Adventure being one of the only good ones but actually fun. If they had made a 4 player Grand Adventure with more items and powerups it would have been the kino successor to Power Stone.

This would be cool if they referenced sun god Nika more than 10 chapters before they made it his fruit.

Like someone already said there is Burning Blood which is from live 2016, it's a 3d fighting game, but I agree Burning Blood 2 would be kino

Honest question, how would you balance a One Piece fighting game these days?
    >out of the main crew, you need to accommodate for size differences (Jimbei, Chopper), accommodate for personal codes of honor that would necessitate an entire different set of moves against certain opponents (Sanji), accommodate for zoning focus against a cast that heavily focuses on rushdown (Usopp), or make a fighting style from scratch because even with decades of source material to go off of some characters don't have a full move set to their name (Carrot, Nami)
    >with the rest of the cast, you're either going for a single representative per arc at the expense of narrative structure or fan demand, putting in the fan-only characters at the expense of characters with potential, or focusing only on Wano and Dressrosa and hoping fans don't get sick of Blade User vs. Blade User But Transgender matchups

Naruto gets terrible fighting games, at least since 2005. One Piece is more of an adventure series with really strange and sometimes giant characters, so a more traditional fighting game is complicated.

Anon, it's time to let go.

The only problem is see here would the size differences, adding giants would prove a challenge whoever it can be made

The size thing isn't even that big of an issue. Just make sizes relative, not to scale. For example, like Luffy being half the screen's height while Big Mom is the entire height of the screen, as opposed to literally making Big Mom 7 times Luffy's size.
Only a moron would ever consider doing the latter option.

There's a pretty good one on the Wonderswan color, it's old though obviously and only covers to just after the arabasta arc I believe.

I wish they’d make something like the Grand Battle games. The chibi style would help even out some of the crazier sized characters. Burning Blood was a hot fricking mess

Chibi style is the shittiest style, Burning Blood is better than all those chibi games
