Unless the Deck can shrink itself down in size it can't match the Switch Lite for portability and if a smaller handheld is what your after, doesn't matter if the Deck is free.
I got no issue with the Deck, I think it's cool but the Switch Lite deserves it's due. It's a great lil handheld.

I actually prefer ththe solid construction to my Switch's joycon rails. The joycons move a bit and it drives me crazy. I bought some nice feeling 3rd party joycons on sale for $20, one was slightly looser / wobbly than the other, unplayable. >Does it at least have gyro? It does but I suck with it in every FPS I try it in (Borderlands, Doom 3, Doom 2016 and Crysis). Maybe it's a me problem but I fair better with sticks and the auto-aim.
