      Exactly.
Fricking mind boggling that polish skyrim is total shit yet japs can take a shit product and turn it good by simply adding a bad ass e-girl.

Actually the game is bad, because it's very buggy, not because the story.

Actually the game is bad because it's core design is bad. Even without any bugs it is a weak rushed RPG with very little to no actual choices and leveling up is mostly just stats going higher.
The 2013 build looked so much better

            >very little to no actual choices
There's a lot you can b***h about in the game but this isn't one of them, a huge chunk of the game completely changes depending on your choices and actions beforehand

They keep thinking characters dont sell kek. Rebecca or Lucy alone would have sold the game better

I unironically think outsourcing to different cultures is the best form of “diversity”. This is a good example. Or like Ghost of Tsushima being made by an American studio.

I like the weird instances of Japs and Westerners working together like Evil Within 2. It's really rare.

Yeah, he probably got a dump truck of cash. Old creators should get a paycheck for what they make.

He didn't, he was tightly involved with the game and runs a in-world radio in the game about deep CP lore. Also he ships himself with Panam(best girl according to him) and post here on Ganker(sometimes even in threads like this)

LMAO you know nothing. He absolutely loves the game and the new anime and praises how well his vision was realized in the game.

Oh yes I am sure that he would criticize the only people that cared for his IP after the massive backlash the game had
He had absolutely nothing going on for years and years, homie would suck CDPR dick if asked

I'm actually surprised they bought into this specific, existing lore. Cyberpunk is such a generic genre and they're known for cutting corners or using sub-par / DIY tech to save pennies, why didn't they just come up with their own cyber-punk themed world?

Or this was the cheapest way they could safeguard against any other IPs claiming similarity (like Blade Runner, Johnny Mnemonic, Dredd or 5th element) by saying.. seee noooo, we bouught thiiis.

You didn't notice that it fairly obviously was a sequel to an established story? Silverhands tale begins in the example scenario in the core rulebook of Cyberpunk 2020. Kind of weird choice to so directly build on such particulars since the TTRPGs are pretty much unknown outside of the hobby (like any game other than D&D), but on the other hand there isn't anything very remarkable about the setting itself.

Meh. The anime is alright, if they'd taken it's plot and put it into the game, maybe the game would have been better, but it still would have just been so-so.

The anime plot makes so much more sense for a game too. Maybe it actually was the game before they decided to make it an epic Keanu Reeves wankfest.

Pretty much the only thing in the anime not in the game is the wrist cannon, since it's just a grenade launcher in the game.

I can only iimagine Pondsmith being happy as shit about the anime, considering he's pretty much an OG weeb. Released a mecha RPG back in 1984 already after becoming fascinated with Gundam.
