The only bosses I had trouble with were Balteus and Ibis, but idk if they really had to be nerfed
I made it through and I've become pretty casual ever since I have to wagecuck
I just did a NG run again, I don't think they really nerfed the bosses. I did the same shit build as my original playthrough and I still barely made it. Still need to test Ibis though.
Anon... just use hard lock
Once you lock-on, any movement done is with respect to the locked-on target, so you automatically strafe if you move sideways

Every time I try to use hard lock it just shuts off and doesn't work.

Moving the camera in anyway whatsoever, undoes the lock-on
So if you're on mouse and keyboard, tough luck: you're going to have to keep a steady arm and not move the mouse

Grab your mouse side way when hardlock

Lock ok in AC6 isn't like in souls you only need to toggle the lock on once, it's like a targeting mode on/off.
You keep messing it up because you try to lock on to new targets manually, instead of just looking at them and waiting for it to magnetize on them when the lock is engaged.
yeah go quad and hover just above its height. none of its melee sweeps hit you and you get free shots into the furnace, just need to land to recharge EN occasionally
There are many shitty bosses, yet you complain about the easiest one? If anything they should buff it's AA capabilities, floating above it makes it trivial. And it doesn't even have that much health. Are you using your weapons at the right range? Effective range (max range before ricochet) isn't the only stat relevant to ranged damage you know?
Did you have vertical missiles and failed to hit the chimney at the top or some shit?
It's nothing to be embarrassed about, I'm speaking from experience myself
We all fail in our own ways, that's the fun part of bideo gaymes
Street cleaner was braindead and I killed it by sitting under its chin repeatedly kicking, slashing, and launching missiles. Only damage it ever did too me was when it rammed forwards but it's barely does jack shit for collision damage. Fight lasted a minute or two.
>equip grenade launchers/songbirds >shoot street janny in the face >jump up when he rushes in >QB away before your thrusters gives out so you don't land on his arms >maintain distance >rinse and repeat
so hard
AC6 is still way harder than most souls games, except endgame DS3 and Elden Ring or depth5 chalices in BB.
Compare Balteus with an early boss like Godrick or Abyss Watchers who you can just hug, attack and even backstab.
moron AC6 is easy as fuck, how do people find this hard
basically every build I've tried boils down to dodging and shooting until whatever dies, with no real need to account for memorising moves
Basically every other from game on the other hand has at least one boss that needs to be rote learned
>moron AC6 is easy as fuck, how do people find this hard
There's a few bosses that will just be a sudden difficulty spike that I can understand people getting stuck on just cause there's nothing else even remotely like it in the game, nothing as tanky as the Spider, nothing as fast and mobile and hard hitting all at the same time as IBIS/Ayre/Walter
Definitely not. I think there's 3-4 bosses that are harder than most of From's catalog, but that's it. On the whole, I'd say BB and DS3 are harder overall, assuming you're including DLC. ER is about the same aside from Malenia.
>Defend X object >Ah time to use the tetra missile bot and rrain down death >Start mission, wat >it's still easy and the wheels just like when I went and got the moonlight with this same build was a joke.
We acting like Souls game didn't see giant sweeping nerfs?
Dark Souls 1 was made infinitely easier with the 1.5 patch changing the entire soul economy+humanity economy so both were far more plentiful, alongside nerfing bosses like O&S.
Dark Souls 2 had an entire re-release that made the game easier.
Elden Ring doesn't even need boss nerfs, vast strings of buffs like in the 1.4 update makes the game significantly easier.
But it is.
That's why it's by far the most successful entry in the franchise. it's a casual game that pretends it's hardcore so normalfags can feel good about themselves for beating a """hard""" game.
I miss snipers. Linear guns are not a substitute.
Fuck ricochet too.
I don't get the point of eliminating ranged build, Assault Boost already has no downsides and can close the gap near instantly.
Damage falloff is the point at which your projectiles have lost sufficient enough amounts of momentum to do significantly less damage.
In other words, gatling guns got buffed.

Ibis nerf was needed, that fight was just constant restart spam, because of if you got hit by 1 combo in phase 1 that was -2 kits right there.
And doing phase 2 with 1 kit or none is just death for a first timer.
Tbh I agree with that, if you took too much damage at the beginning you couldn't hope to beat it, second phase still feels intense but first phase feels like it's easier
Sea Spider is the best boss in the game by far. Fun patterns to learn and enough health to make it a fun back and forth that doesn't get absolutely smoked in two shots with certain builds like IBIS.
My only problem with IBIS is the input reading. The best way to avoid her slashes is to mash left and right so that she fires the coral slash in the wrong direction, while you just QB backwards. I get that it's supposed to make it so that you have to dodge just in time, or she predicts where you will be after your QB, but is it really necessary? What's the point of QB travel distance if it's just a matter of timing? Better just use a low drain fast propulsion instead?
Enemies trying to lead their shots is not input reading. You can also just move in one direction and then QB in the other after the attack is launched. Also QB travel distance exists mostly for PvP because shorter QBs don't get out of the splash damage radius of explosions. This isn't as much of a consideration in PvE but it is a niche use there too.
That's not how that works. Enemies work with the same kind of targeting system you do. If an enemy suddenly jumped in one direction your FCS will instantly compensate for it. The trick is to get them to attack in one direction then go in the other. Jumping tends to work the best for this over QBing in my experience.
I understand that leading shots is not input reading, rather, what i'm saying is that it uses both input reading AND shot leading. (it reads the direction you are tapping before your ac is actually moving there, which is why a quickboost done while it's charging its attack will make it lead the shot on the proper direction if you dont dodge the shot when the projjectile has been launched) this makes the time you are evading (the quickboost duration) worthless.
It's probably my mistake for comparing it to gen4-5, since in there the quickboost duration was more important than the timing due to the increased bullet velocity. I still find it annoying, tho.
In the end, it's a matter of the game focusing on reactive evasion rather than preemptive evasion (quickboosting to make the enemy have a hardtime locking or moving its arms to catch you in time)
dual gats isn't great for S ranking most missions just because the ammo costs hurt your ranking for most of them.
They're pretty good for just the missions that are focused around boss fights since those seem a bit more just based around how fast you can beat the boss with the least amount of damage taken and ammo efficiency is not as big of a priority.
I have 100% on steam and from what I can tell ammo doesn't play a big factor in S ranks. It's mostly
>Killing special enemies (the ones that contain batte logs) >Speed (gotta go fast)
And that's it. I've healed and used checkpoints and still gotten an S rank.
Not him but usually when I had to use a checkpoint I didn't get an S, not sure if that was the act of using it in the first place or a byproduct of having to use it means you're going overtime

Lightweight dual zimmies and pilebunker. You might be able to fit a missile launcher on for the handful of missions that benefit from it but you really only need the zimbunkers.
VE Bipedal set, coral generator, dual diffuse shoulder lasers, pulse smg / flamethrower, best AB thruster possible for your weight. It feels like the game weighs time much more than damage taken as well since I soaked up a lot of damage on some fights but because I can melt them with this set up and eat stagger from assault boosting + being aggressive I got S ranks when I felt like I didn't deserve them. Escort mining rig and destroy coral transports I needed specialized assemblies but other than that it works for everything.
I know everyone loves zimmermans but I've found this more consistently reliable. You're generally able to clear missions faster because of the huge increase in range and fire rate. It's still very much so capable of pulling off the same memes zimmerman does with a stun+double shot combo. You'll pretty much instantly crush any enemy AC and almost any non-boss non-AC enemy will die in one shot to the lasers.
The changes to Balteus aren't going to make him easier for shitters because they never touched the bazooka. If you watch scrubs, they get hit by that all the time despite the giant warning box and bleeps.
if they are going to nerf bosses for retards, why not just add an easy mode? They are doing this to make the game more accessible since these bosses filtered the fuck out of players
I'm okay with C-spider losing some of his resistances. It might actually be possible to kill him with an energy loadout now. I'm sure it was before, but the amount of time and effort expended when you could just bring kinetic weapons was not worth it.
From doesn't understand that I'm still not returning to its shitty soulslike AC game. Stagger has too much prevalence and no patch will change that. Don't even care that Balteus filtered me, as it was a the best example of the type of gameplay they're aiming for.
All you buyfags literally just got a worse game for nothing.
>From releases another unfinished game >Spends the next 3-6 months patching it >Fromdrones get mad the game is being made easier >Instead of getting mad that the game wasn't fucking done
the nerf isn't even big, just that missiles for balteus home a bit less, a bit more damage taken for sea spider, ibis does a bit less damage for a single attack only
Sea spider only has like 2 dangerous attacks (stomp and sweeping laser) and both are extremely telegraphed and easy to dodge, I've had more trouble with cleaner
Maybe others did but Balteus just in the grand scheme of things didn't seem like that big of a challenge, only took a few attempts to get a feel for him and then that was it even on the first go on release day.
>dodges it >flies away >stagger goes back to zero in a flash >shoots 530419 lasers at you >undodgeable laser cannon >energy wave combo when you're close >le epic big energy bird sweeping the area thrice in the second phase that does a fuckton of damage >no pause after the bird
Fon't shoot it while it's flying in neutral. Wait for it to do a move you can punish. It can't react-dodge if it's in the middle of a high-commitment move.
This is not complicated.
You kinda answered your own question by bringing up the chainsaw. If a current-tech chainsaw can work, what makes you think a vibro blade would be obsolete?
>Didn't nerf the shotgun >Didn't (and probably never will) rework stagger >ARs and SMGs are still trash >Gutted bosses
I hate this dogshit game so much
Shotguns don't need nerfs, FS got it right by just buffing the other guns and making them more viable, if anything they could go for another round of buffs on both ARs/SMGs and Lasers/Plasma, and the bosses.
I'm actually getting filtered by the ng++ final boss. I cant fucking take it. Is this how Iguazu felt? AM I THE FUCKING IGUAZU NOW?
I'm so mad at this fucker.
I had the same issue with running out of ammo and needing to change up my build. Eventually I got really good at beating his first phase, then training myself to stay chill during his second and especially his 3rd phase. Don't jump to much or quick boost to much, it encourages him to use the laser trident rape attack. After that it's just pure skill, good luck anon, you'll probably run low on ammo regardless so bring another set of hand weapons
>spends entire game condescending everyone acting obnoxiously arrogant >plans to sacrifice you so Arquebus can take the RLF wall for themselves >spends the Iceworm allied mission doing nothing but barking insults >contracts Rusty through Arquebus to end up fighting you to eliminate at least one of you >attacks you from behind like a coward to take you down >neglects you enough to arrange you consigned underground to the sewers like trash >has Walter re-educated/altered to act as an IBIS stop-gap in case a Coral collapse happens >raves like a madman that he thinks you're vermin simply because you ignored him >fucking fights you with Batleus, he's that much of a cheating bitch >goes out like a total pussy having Walter kill Rusty off-screen
Has there ever been such a perfect hate-sink villain than this guy? He's Luca Blight levels of petty and pathetic.
He deserves absolutely every single thing he gets towards the end of this game. Even fucking Iguazu hates him.
Don't forget how he left Maeterlinck and that other guy for death even though she was crying and begging him for backup, and he was just standing around a few miles away, watching them get killed by you.
What a cold slimy cunt.
>even though she was crying and begging him for backup
Her and the "muh own callsign" guy were the only enemies I really felt bad for, especially the latter since you're basically triple-teaming him for sport.
>Don't forget how he left Maeterlinck and that other guy for death even though she was crying and begging him for backup
I honestly felt sorry for her. If I could, I would spare her and make her a part of the team.
I fucking loved him because he was so openly a cunt. He was probably one of the most honest characters in the game about his intentions. He'd look you right in the eye and call you a useless fag as he stabbed you in the back whenever it was most opportune for his needs. Anyone who got tricked and fucked over by him deserved it.
Also anyone not playing with Japanese audio is missing out so much on the acting of these characters, every single voice and performance fits their personality perfectly. Call me a weeb if you want but I felt like I could picture the people I was hearing better with Japanese dialogue, Snail possibly the most. Even if you generally don't like it, I implore you to at least go boot up a mission with Snail using Japanese audio.
But his English casting and performance is already perfect. Why should I bother listening to something of the same quality, but in a language I don't speak a word of?
Because the Japanese is even better: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kyGsbK7YSlY&t=1119s
Included in that is also Michigan who's pretty much perfect too.
One I almost forgot about though is Brute: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUQeGONzuEo&t=3256s
His Japanese and English voices are like two different people entirely and the Japanese is so much better it's not even funny.
It doesn't really matter though, what I've linked is pretty much everything you'd be getting out of it anyway. I like the Jap VAs more, the english voice acting just feels corny.
Huh so fires of raven is the most common first ending, just got it yesterday
[...]
I do think ibis needed a tiny nerf, I was going a light melee build with reverse joint legs and the three energy slash combo is complete bullshit when it's done point blank, sometimes doing it 4 times in a row
It's the only attack I complain about, everything else is fine. But damn I hated when I charged with the lance and missed for a millimeter because she dodged backwards just in time. I did change to pile bunker at the end just to nuke the shit out of her when staggered
I also had a little trouble against ayre , hard to dodge the melee attacks and the shield regenerates way too fast, but not as hard as ibis
I think there's a pretty easy opener for Ibis where you just jump up frame 1 move forward a little and immediately full laser lance melee as Ibis tries to fly forward and they'll eat that and get auto staggered.
Yeah there are s few openings, the one where he first shoots some lasers and does one slash through you. You can evade it but flying straight and dodging to the left and if you are close enough you stagger it with the lance
or just tank a couple hits, assault armor, over half its health is now gone.
You can't tank a couple hits with light armor, as in less than 9k health. If he does the triple slash combo and the first one hits you, you are eating all 3, getting staggered and if he initiates the same attack again, which is quite common, you don't recover in time and die
I'm on my second playthrough and I didn't choose to kill G4 and G5 because I want to see what happens if I kill Swinburne and/or don't kill Michigan later on
Will the things I did actually change something or am I just repeating the game for no reason
The first two endings depends on your decisions during the last two chapters. The third ending is locked into NG++ and you have to pick the ALLMIND decision missions to get it, also betraying Iguazu during the dam mission makes sense for that route.
Pardon my retardation I fucked up the spoiler tags
All the guides say you do, but idk. I was lazy and did not accept on ng++ before i looked up guides to see if i fucked up. They said I did yet i still got the true ending.
walter, carla, chatty are simply good people and killing them just because a voice in your head doesn't like how they want to deal with coral, would be retarded. choosing to fight for the liberation front is fine, but at the time of choosing it was literally "kill carla lmao, coral is my brothers and sister or some shit"
>If you didn't do Fires of Raven ending first you're a simp,
ironically, i did fires of raven first because i didn't want to kill carla.
I did Fires first thinking it just made sense the way the story played out. And Karman Line was fun as hell but it felt.. anti-climactic to just retread the Ibis fight and like I basically fucked everything up. Liberator felt more properly climactic, and yet simultaneously also raises questions with certain elements. Too much Schrodinger's going on with these paths, where simply choosing to fight your way through Xylem for a different target suddenly has Walter disappear like he died or have Rusty know what's going on and so forth.
>Assault boost into every boss while holding down RT/LT an periodically pressing shoulder buttons >either they die or I die
After beating the game with miniguns and songbirds in a tank chassis I see where people are coming from with the whole "you didn't beat the game" thing. It's really satisfying at first seeing how powerful a build like that is, but it's really braindead execution-wise.
That's my exact go to shitter build, but I use the thiccboi legs instead of tanks. This thing is so overpowered and braindead that I just called it YELLOW SNOW because it pisses all over anything it comes into contact with. I didn't even optimize the parts, I just built it off aesthetics and weapon loadout.
I have a tank build with all the heaviest parts I can find. Dual Gatling Guns/Songbirds or Dual Flamethrowers/Needle. Absolutely melts everything. When I get annoyed with a random AC fight I pop this bad boy out. It's ridiculous
They're not bad of course but they seem a bit lacking compared to rifles or machine guns. I went through half of my current playthrough with a pistol before swapping it out for a machinegun and it seems like a direct upgrade. Missing isn't as big of a deal, DPS and stagger build up seem the same, the MG even has slightly better range iirc. It's probably heavier but unless you're running the lightest legs you can who cares
i just redid all the nerfed bosses, balteus and ibis feel no different, especially if you are at the point where you know the fight by heart
sea spider fight is a bit quicker, albeit it was quick either way if you used pilebunker
back in 2019 or 2020 or whenever that shit released, fromsoft still wasn't as mainstream as today, elden ring was a turning point for the company to turn pure slop
>wasn't as mainstream
Fromsoft has been been mainstream since 2011, fucking what.
The Dark Souls series took a "most anticipated game" award every fucking time they showed a trailer, you can't be this fucking clueless.
Blazing Bull is the only I remember. It was a real pain in the ass when I did a NG charmless demon bell run before the patch, so whatever they did to tone it down after was probably deserved.
>mid mission decision: ayre tells you bring her with you after she starts pathetically begging for her life >new mission: you and ayre train maeterlinck
>I think Ayre would not be too fond of another woman trying to hit on Raven.
Or she'd arrange them since she knows 621 has physical needs and well, it only makes sense. Maybe she'd even like to see him have kids and it's just the practical way to accomplish that.
>she'd even like to see him have kids and it's just the practical way to accomplish that.
Ayre can inhabit physical body, she can do that herself.
Also Kate doesn't even exist.
Jesus christ anon >Has the same VA as Allmind >Only appears on Allmind missions >Uses an Allmind AC >Doesn't even bother to stop her voice filter during her post mission thank you message
>Logs about AI Art >AI powered AC is named "Chatty" (ChatGPT or Chatbot) >AI the ultimately the major antagonist
I dunno anon I think it's all a coincidence
>why did the coral transports matter?
Coral only mutates in high density. Depleting or splitting it interferes delays Coral Release. Also exporting it would garner even more exterior attention and ALLMIND already has problems dealing with current events from the shadows.
>Or stopping the BAWS plant inspection?
The pool of coral was a secret
>Final boss is the lame jobber you scrape off your boot every three mission
Genuinely what did From mean by this?
He's not even difficult for subversion's sake. Despite his speshul snowflake supermech and plethora of backup dancers, he still bites it like a fucking chump.
It's established she had at least one other option. And fucking *anyone* would've been more interesting than a seething skilllet with a grudge borne of pure jealousy.
We could've had a crazed Ghost in the Shell amalgamation of every other pilot switching schizophrenically between playstyles. We could've had Michigan Reborn. Fuck I would've taken just Allmind and her monotone over the fuming 12 year old on his brother's Xbox live account.
ALLMIND seems scared of the possible deviations from her plan, including 621. The reason for Iguazu is most likely because of how single minded his obsession is. It probably removed a lot of factors versus any of the other choices. Unfortunately for ALLMIND, she didn't realize how powerful his seethe really is. As for why not just ALLMIND herself or just a stitched together simulacrum of pilots, it's made clear multiple times AI pilots are vastly inferior to human pilots.
Iguazu is a copy in the final fight. Allmind literally tells him his body won't last, and he never switches from his first AC to the second. His victory line is also about being a ghost that won't last long.
Obviously there's a big difference between AI pilots and direct brain scans. And we know ALLMIND had tons of those, since she sends six vespers against Carla and Walter.
It was fantastic, fuck darkies who need a rollcatcher stream bait boss.
I don't give a shit if it's "hard," I care if it's interesting.
Elden Beast was boring as fuck.
Soul of Cinder was boring as fuck.
Gehrman was boring as fuck.
Crimson One smashing the mute button on Allmind so he could have his 1v1 in the depths of his own raw vitriol was great and you're an actual monkey if you disagree.
The worst parts of AC6 are the shit they lifted from 10 years of doing Souls games, like the Ayre fight.
Other than a handful of horrible boss fights it's mostly a "greatest hits" of past AC games. It needed longer missions, regular mooks with more HP, and it needed to completely rebalance all the weapons so you actually have a reason to watch your ammo counts. I would like to see more enemy shooting galleries and dangerous long-range threats that force you to prioritize. The closest we really get is the wall-climber mission where you have to use cover to move forward.
>see that they nerfed Ibis
"Huh, it probably isn't that bad, let me have a look-" >S-Rank it efortlessly by just flying up to it and empying pistols on it's face because it lost so much of it's agression and moves way slower
Jesus christ, thank fuck I fully cleared the game already. This is Radahn-tier, it's easy as fuck now.
Wow anon you're such a progamer, even though the IBIS nerf was just some damage on some attacks it's so effortless for you. We're all very impressed by how much of a le jaded pro gamer you are, please fuck my pussy
Last phase Iguazu with 3 times the hp would've made a good standalone boss
instead you have 2 pointless phases that only exists to sap your ammo and maybe make you heal once
>Fought Ibis so much that I can get her down to half health in her first phase within 10 seconds >Also fought Ibis so much that I was jaded and not really paying attention when I beat her
At least fighting a fucking Valvrave was fun for a bit.
Even the biggest shitters already beat the game a few times. Game is old news now.
It will be an actual patch for shitters when they fix the AI sometimes doing moves faster than they should. (gun has 5 second recovery, AI uses it 4 times in 6 seconds)
Still too easy.
>and enough health overall following from all the missile barrages.
My mech is built around speed, Balteus literally couldn't hit me with missiles when I was strafing around it. Didn't even have to QB to avoid them.
I'm playing on the old patch, and I just breezed through first 3 chapters of NG+ in a single gaming session
I personally think the nerf was unwarranted, atleast for NG+
I remember struggling against BALTEUS myself, so it being nerfed for base NG sounds fair
The other bosses nerf doesn't sound that big either? Reduced Sea Spider's tankiness, made Ibis not 2 shot you: I think these changes are fair for base NG
NG+ should revert them back though imo
Damn, I've been slow due to work and typical exhaustion, so I have only gotten past the Sea Spider.
Shame I couldn't play against the original Ibis. That would've been fun
I don't think so. Worst case scenario firearm spec + FCS with hardlock and orbits still focus on and hit the target while my crosshairs are wandering off in the air.
Just concluded the game. I could not have asked for a better finale. I greatly look forward to New Game.
Notes on loadout: Big Bubble and Starter Sword really pitched in hard throughout the length of this battle. Needles are just extra dps on top of huge precision hits that incidentally also fair well against pulse armor. The coral didn't stand a chance.
Walter's final recording is interesting. He's guiding you to finding your 'true potential.' Something Ayre talked plenty about during the fight. I'm ready to follow after her this next run.
BAWS I OWE YOU OVER 2000
ARQUEBUS I OWE YOU OVER 2000
SCHNEIDER I OWE YOU OVER 2000
BALAM I OWE YOU... A LOT OF COAM
I AM STEALING FROM YOU
I AM STEALING FROM YOU
I AM STEALING FROM YOU
>S ranked Balteus alt mission right before the update, without using zimms, stun needles, songbirds, etc. It was with the ng++ coral weapons, which are pretty good.
I dont mind the game getting its journalist patch a few weeks down the line. Feels good knowing I clapped the hardest bosses in this game and didnt have to use the zimmies to do it
>Struggle on the first boss >Unlock Zimms >Every boss dies in <1 minute
Some guns in this game are just not fair and ruin the fun completely, the only way to enjoy the game is to intentionally nerf yourself by using dog shit weapons that are just worse in everyway
This is the only mech game in years worth playing... we cant complain...
the story and character is more like Ace Combat style even one of the character a tribute to one of the ACombat popular character. I'm pretty sure one of the writer or maybe Project Ace team help them write some of it.
If you liked ACombat/Wingman style of story yes you will really liked it because I am one too
Everyone gives iguazu shit but it seems like he's legitimately losing his mind and has no idea what's going on so everyone just gives him shit because you're on the receiving end.
he was chosen, but he was number 2 to your 1. probably because his stupid ass didnt change builds until forced. he is the retarded amuro ray vs char aka (you)
throwback to old armored cores. ALLMIND is modern 9 Ball. 9 Ball wanted to ascend humanity through a controlled evolution in a similar way ALLMIND does: manipulating all the corpos and ravens, killing anyone who might mess with the plan. only instead of using mass-produced police giga AI pilots, ALLMIND uses those AND coral for its plan. Ayre didn't want 621 to die or for both of them to be used as pawns, so they fight back against ALLMIND.

>nerfed sea spiders health
I remember making a post a few days ago about that very boss having too much health and how I kept running out of ammo fighting it, almost necessitating a melee weapon, and as always several xX360noscopeXx ebin gamers chimed in to call me a shitter for not effortlessly shitting on the boss like they did. It's all so tiresome.
I was right. IM ALWAYS RIGHT. I also made the argument that balteus was a relatively fair boss but was too much of a sudden difficulty spike that could also use a minor nerf of some more challenging enemies placed before him, which I also got flammed for.
I would recommend the pulse gun if using just one wasn't complete garbage and it also didnt look like trash so its just pretending for the laser rifle, or waltuh's rifle for me
So what exactly does the true ending mean, that coral spread everywhere and they started possessing any AC they could find and you're going to kick their asses because you activate combat mode?
i literally bought the game because i saw how much streamers were struggling with balteus and i wanted to see for myself how hard he was. you're telling me i can't do that now because he's nerfed? nice, 60€ down the drain i guess
>pulse guns still dogshit
Could've made the one weapon designed to counter Balteus good instead of just nerfing Balteus himself.
Piece of shit overheats so quickly and if you DARE use it to damage Balteus directly you will run out of ammo immediately.
>that sick ass entrance >killing Chatty just to make fighting you more interesting >"Our objective is to seize the Xylem, you can ignore the mutt." >"Yes, Snail, you're right." >disconnects comms
Freud was such a badass, it was disappointing to see that he does the typical pushed-to-the-point-of-insanity shit when he dies, even if he may or may not have had repeated augmentations.
What do you mean pushed to the point of insanity? He died a battle junkie not really caring about death, he was perfectly sane. His whole deal was that he was just some dude who liked tinkering with his AC, he had no augments
I must be mixing up his arena description with someone else's, I remember it saying he was suspected of being like Snail despite his reputation. And imo the "I need... more..." line right at the end relegates him to the same box as the rest of the AC pilots who sink deeper into their neurosis as their backs get closer to the wall against Raven, instead of him being the true warrior I built up in my head.
> "I need... more..." line right at the end relegates him to the same box as the rest of the AC pilots who sink deeper into their neurosis as their backs get closer to the wall against Raven, instead of him being the true warrior I built up in my head.
How does that not fit him being a true warrior? How did you interpret him saying >"I need... more..."
in that context. It was literally him being dissapointed his AC is giving out and that he really wants to keep fighting 621 (but can't since he is about to blow up) since it was probably the unironic peak of his life ac vs ac wise. Not him schizoing out
I was hoping he'd respect or appreciate that he got his ass beat by a worthy opponent more so than just wish he could keep fighting, but you're right, overall I was being retarded. I guess I just dismissed his dying words as the usual crazed pilot ramblings since I was disappointed he wasn't the exact honoraboru samurai I imagined. Still one of the sickest pilots in the game.
Well you'll be glad to know he does respect your skills. He said he was happy he chose your company over snails and says you fight like a hound on the hunt. His death line is just more about wanting to fight you more rather than specifically saying something in the "You were truly.... a raven.tm of the skies" type death quote which is about the same thing to me when it comes to respecting you. Plus I didn't take it like he was saying that because he wanted to live just to live but more to keep fighting you specifically because it was really fun
Can you imagine how hard this guy was making Snail seethe? >Ranked V.I with no augmentations while Snail has his own batch of test dummies to sacrifice and let him upgrade safely and consistantly >Does not take charge of the Vespers despite having every right to do so, leaving Snail with all the busy work >The one time Snail really needs him to come through he disconnects comms, charges in against orders to kill 621 and fucking dies
What a madman. It's a shame all of the decent Vespers are the ones you spend the least time with. Minus Rusty who's actually RLF. Hawkins, Freud, and Maeterlinck were real bros.
The fact that Frued isn't augmented isn't widely known. It's entirely possible Snail just assumes he is because why wouldn't he be?
energy weapon bros? am i losing it or is the nebula plasma rifle just better than the 760PR?
nebula is weaker but shoots faster, and being able to get more shots off means its DOT zones are more plentiful
i feel like i can get staggers off way easier with it
im trying out the second coral generator too, which is why im trying the energy weapons since it boosts their damage
Supposedly coral weapons don't benefit from energy weapon spec and are kind of their own thing.

>coral weapons dont benefit from coral engine
thats retarded
probably one of the bosses where double zimmerman doesn't work, or something
they nerfed how much damage Ibis does to you, because beforehand if you were a little over half AP it could potentially hit you once or twice hard enough to just gib you outright. 15-25% damage reduction depending on the specific attack hitting you.
otherwise Ibis was always a glass cannon that you can kill and stagger easy so long as you hit it when it's open rather than attacking non-stop
>Cataphract boss realizes you're not Raven >Shits his pants and sends the combat log to the PCA >... Nothing comes from this.
Really big missed opportunity to have that affect a later mission where they come with something designed to counter (you) instead of Raven.
I believe that's the implication. The PCA basically operate on a flowchart dictated by Allmind's directions, so if she never alters the info they get they don't change their approach.
If it's not Allmind then it's another AI because they routinely refer to 'the system' when talking about their directives.
Isn't the PCA just following ALLMIND's orders anyways?
ALLMIND likely already knew it, so

No, the PCA follows a different AI, the Enforcer System which is fused to the generator that powers the shield to the Institute city. The PCA freaks out at 621 not because of his mercenary data but because they had ample experience dealing with threal Raven reaping havoc
I took it to mean in getting assimilated he would eventually lose his sense of self amongst all the minds/souls swept up by ALLMIND. The only reason he's around still is an incredibly strong sense of will to KILL FREELANCER and ALLMIND didn't mind too much
At least that's what my interpretation was. Idk in another thread someone said that rogue AIs are common in AC, so maybe this plotline happened before and the entire route is a callback and this is explained in context of prior games
do you remember when you started doing the integration system arena and ALLMIND made you fight the training dummy and the dafeng student pilot? the most important part of her plan was to find rock bottom so that she will know there is nowhere else to go but up. enter iguazu
The student pilot was more about analyzing corporate AC building styles. She notes that the offworld ACs have an emphasis on subjugation of their outside environment while the ACs piloted by the Rubiconians tend to have more emphasis on getting the pilot and their craft to work in harmony. She's trying to analyze the merits of these two different approaches.
I assume tester AC was just to establish a baseline for 621's performance.
the better solution would be to make winners in "losers rotate" rooms unable to swap builds until they lose
would help people being fags and counterpicking every single person they fight
>corporations spend billions to come up with bettter weapons and research more effective combat >none of them figure out dual zimmermans and dual songbirds
explain this shit
i wish they'd just let us select regulations like in ac4/acfa so that i can continue playing on the vanilla day1 release version.
fucking snowflakes always gotta ruin shit for other people
No they nerfed the bosses which is his real problem
The Zimmerman's are only 'nerfed' in the sense that the patch buffed a bunch of guns but frankly the difference is minimal outside of just making the obvious counter pick options against Zimmermans easy to determine.
Not that Zimmies were the biggest cancer in PVP that shit goes to Siege Missle tank fags and stun gun/stun needle fags.
Just beat NG and NG+
Did Liberator for NG and Fires of Raven for NG+, and I must say... NG should have been railroaded into Fires of Raven imo. Doing all the alt missions for RLF, then choosing to eave Ayre on NG+ felt weird
Also what the fuck is Ayre's AC?
How on earth did anyone beat it on NG? I beat it 2nd try on NG+ because I've got a better grasp on the mechanics, but this feels way tougher than SNAIL + BALTEUS
Fight did drain out all 3 repair kits, so I could have easily lost that
So- what happened to SNAIL and Walter for Fires of Raven route?
How did Rusty know what the Xylem was trying to do? The "FLY HIGH" OST definitely suits him more than 621
Where the fuck did Iguazu go? He sent an assassin and then dipped. Nowhere to be seen. Unless I missed an alt mission
>Also what the fuck is Ayre's AC?
Ephemera, an Institute AC and the same model Professor Nagai boarded keep a record of the Fires of Ibis. After watching Coral take over the Ice Worm, Ayre figured out she could do the same with other Institute tech.
>So- what happened to SNAIL and Walter for Fires of Raven route?
During your fight with Freud, Snail seems to be having problems and asks him to just drop you and come help. You could say he died on battle or kept fighting until he got devoured by the fire Correct me on this one but Ayre's arena is the only that still has people fighting in the background.
Walter was sent to reeducation, people who resist reeducation are "processes" (implied mutilation) and turn into meat puppets IF THEY SURVIVE. In one ends he makes it, in the other he doesnt.
>How did Rusty know what the Xylem was trying to do?
The RFL probably realize what was happening as soon they calculated the direction and speed of Xylem but it doesnt matter anyways because he already deemed you a threat during the descent to institute city.
>During your fight with Freud, Snail seems to be having problems and asks him to just drop you and come help
Ohhhhh so your choice to confront Chatty/Carla or Freud is the difference in making SNAIL survive the Xylem assault, that is actually really neat
>Walter surviving the brainwashing/reeducation procedure is literally a cointoss
Damn, that's kinda sad
I would have preferred it if he survived the procedure in both endings, and for him to indirectly help the Xylem reach the coral for the Fires ending
>The RFL probably realize what was happening as soon they calculated the direction and speed of Xylem
Seems a bit flimsy, why could it not have been a final hail mary attack on just the corporation headquarters from their POV?
Then again, there was no reason NOT to broadcast their intentions if they were friendly to the RLF like in the Liberator ending, so I guess there is a thread of continuity there
>iguazu
He'll be back
Soon you'll see
So I haven't missed anything, right?
Either way off to NG++ I go~

Oh fuck you meant? Ayre's as final boss, thats SOL and Ibis weapon like CEL and HAL
The weapons are really unbalanced. Your experience depends too much on them. If you find it too easy you might be using cheat weapons and you didnt beat the game.
Against balteus? You can get away with spamming missiles and your RH gun. Really you should be hitting him with the plasma sword as much as you can. It's plasma so it shreds the pulse armor batleus has too.
I'm by no means an expert but I think you should give it a shot. Personally, I haven't found a single right arm gun that can supply enough stagger power to wholly make up for having a sword in your left hand(I mostly break it out to capitalize on immobilized components so it doesn't consistently contribute to stagger, and it's really good at that job) . The missile racks are always the weakest performers and sometimes I replace them with lasers, but those feel like all-or-nothing shots and even the biggest single missile rack performs underwhelmingly when it's mix-matched with another shoulder weapon. They're nice for pressure, but they're also very dependent on your targeting computer so they potentially demand a big compromise in your choice there just to be there making comparatively small contributions. That's my retard rundown on missiles, try the weapon bay and report back
Well i beat baltheus prettty easily just spamming dual laser pistols and weapon bay swapping to the lightning sword and doing a charged melee whenever he staggered.
Just feels a bit clunky tho as if I tried charging the attack too early after swapping it wouldn't come out.
I forgot the names of them but I beat him down with the shoulder lasers that you can charge, the chargeable laser rifle in my right hand, and a sword all on top of the tank legs. After an hour of trying with my bipedal mech I accidentally built this monster which let me ignore his mechanics entirely

Nebula has a bigger, stronger, higher impact charge attack that doesn't overheat the gun as well
Used two of them for ng++, love that gun against anything but fast airborne targets
tried this out and I didn't like how unresponsive it felt due to momentum and cool downs, not a fan of slow response for attacks and such, I like combat to be as snappy as possible, but that's not to say the game is bad, just not my thing. (someone will get triggered at this anyway)
are old ACs all like this? Still not ruling out the possibility of them being fun.
I was thinking that would be the case since everyone talks about how customization is important, looks like I shot it down too soon, beat the first boss second try but I didn't wanna invest my time in case it was gonna feel like that for most of the game.
Hmm I'll give it a go again later I guess.
>Steam Achievement
Lmao doesn't mean shit. You could unlock all steam cheevos by using SAM without having to play the game at all.
PS Trophies are the only ones that matter.
spoken like a true shitter
Ibis is a bad boss design, aspie, worse than Muh Lenia
the rest are fine
what
imagine buying a game before discounts and they stop releasing patches for them
like retarded kids without patience
I pirated it anyway
The only bosses I had trouble with were Balteus and Ibis, but idk if they really had to be nerfed
I made it through and I've become pretty casual ever since I have to wagecuck
you're using purchasing habits help you feel better about yourself because you have an inferiority complex
I am supporting my favorite developers and have money to buy new releases on launch. Where's the problem?
I just did a NG run again, I don't think they really nerfed the bosses. I did the same shit build as my original playthrough and I still barely made it. Still need to test Ibis though.
Street cleaner was just bad because of how much health it had. Idk love the game but a couple fights just SUCKED
Were you shooting the armor plates or something
I shot in the vent in front. Still is way to slow of a fight. Bad balance there
You just suck.
Hell yeah dude. The Curtis rules.
How are you strafing? What button is that? It's nowhere on the controls.
Anon... just use hard lock
You keep messing it up because you try to lock on to new targets manually, instead of just looking at them and waiting for it to magnetize on them when the lock is engaged.
this looks boring as fuck...
Is this the purpose of Fromslop games? Find the best way to cheese?
>Curtis
>cheese
it just got buffed for good reason
yeah fromshit games are for autists that think rolling around like a sperg and memorizing patterns is quality gameplay
Literally the easiest boss you are dogshit at games
The problem is actually hitting the weak spot. Most kinetic weapons suck at it
>you have to hit him in the face or shoot inside of the volcano on his back
I hate fighting that guy.
>you could shoot into the furnace on his back
wtf
yeah go quad and hover just above its height. none of its melee sweeps hit you and you get free shots into the furnace, just need to land to recharge EN occasionally
Get some grenade launchers, aiming is for losers anyway
There are many shitty bosses, yet you complain about the easiest one? If anything they should buff it's AA capabilities, floating above it makes it trivial. And it doesn't even have that much health. Are you using your weapons at the right range? Effective range (max range before ricochet) isn't the only stat relevant to ranged damage you know?
I took that thing out in 2 tries. I just floated with the Quads and shot at it. Wasn't too bad.
>street cleaner
>hard
Pick one clown
Did you have vertical missiles and failed to hit the chimney at the top or some shit?
It's nothing to be embarrassed about, I'm speaking from experience myself
We all fail in our own ways, that's the fun part of bideo gaymes
Street cleaner was braindead and I killed it by sitting under its chin repeatedly kicking, slashing, and launching missiles. Only damage it ever did too me was when it rammed forwards but it's barely does jack shit for collision damage. Fight lasted a minute or two.
>equip grenade launchers/songbirds
>shoot street janny in the face
>jump up when he rushes in
>QB away before your thrusters gives out so you don't land on his arms
>maintain distance
>rinse and repeat
so hard
ahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
You only have problems against the shit cleaner if you're playing with low power generator not allowing you to fly for long.
That's all.
I know it because that's what I did and it was AIDS
Beat sea spider to 10% health before she could even transition.
Lmao what the fuck, my gaming cred is worth nothing now
>noooooo it was supposed to be the dark souls of mecha games
lol
lmao even
AC6 is still way harder than most souls games, except endgame DS3 and Elden Ring or depth5 chalices in BB.
Compare Balteus with an early boss like Godrick or Abyss Watchers who you can just hug, attack and even backstab.
the first boss in Elden Ring filtered me much harder than Balteus
>People unironically getting filtered by Margit
PvPless behavior.
I always thought the souls game were harder. Though to be fair I've always been more into faster paced games
moron AC6 is easy as fuck, how do people find this hard
basically every build I've tried boils down to dodging and shooting until whatever dies, with no real need to account for memorising moves
Balteus is the only challenging fight in the game
The wheels in escort the Strider are harder than Balteus.
>Defend X object
>Ah time to use the tetra missile bot and rrain down death
>Start mission, wat
>it's still easy and the wheels just like when I went and got the moonlight with this same build was a joke.
Margit filtered literal millions
Bro i literally beat Baltheus on third try. The helicopter was unironically harder and he was a fucking joke if you compare him to Margit.
dark souls also nerfed the fuck out of content in "balance" patches. Im betting none of you filthy casuals beat the real sens fortress.
But patches like that are literally what every Souls game got.
Shotgun users on suicide watch
I miss sniper cannons
I miss snipers. Linear guns are not a substitute.
Fuck ricochet too.
I don't get the point of eliminating ranged build, Assault Boost already has no downsides and can close the gap near instantly.
what is 'falloff' ? What did they do to my GATLING GUN?!
Damage falloff is the point at which your projectiles have lost sufficient enough amounts of momentum to do significantly less damage.
In other words, gatling guns got buffed.
Nope, nevermind. They nerfed gatling guns because right down below there's mention of snipers having "increased falloff".
>In other words, gatling guns got buffed.
thx anon I appreciate
My sincerest apologies for not reading properly.
It's alright anon. Maybe this is a good opportunity to use rifles, since they got better and I always wanted to do them.
read the board that screenshot is from
You fell for bait anon that's patch notes for ACV not VI.
WAIT A SEC THAT'S AC5

DAMN! How was I so blind... thx anon
>I'll never really S-rank the game
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I WAS SO CLOSE BROS
I HAD LIKE FIVE MISSIONS LEFT.
>>I'll never really S-rank the game
Should've gotten it on disc, can play without a patch 😉
Exoprimal is on game pass, just saying.
AYO THIS bro BOUGHT GOLLUM LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hey it's cerebral palsy bro. What up chief been a while since the last time we saw your rigid ass.
That cat needs to go on a diet.
should've pirated the game
Ibis nerf was needed, that fight was just constant restart spam, because of if you got hit by 1 combo in phase 1 that was -2 kits right there.
And doing phase 2 with 1 kit or none is just death for a first timer.
Now one fuck up = -1 kit, seems far more fair.
Tbh I agree with that, if you took too much damage at the beginning you couldn't hope to beat it, second phase still feels intense but first phase feels like it's easier
Welp, the AC threads were fun while they lasted, now we'll just have this sort of shit over and over
This, I just wanna share my builds bro, I don't want to see shitters crying about the game being hard/easy/not Armored Core/not selling
God I miss Iguazu like you wouldn't believe...
This is what happens when you let Soulsmorons in
Just saw DSP beat IBIS.
After
first try. He even said it was easy.
Sea Spider is the best boss in the game by far. Fun patterns to learn and enough health to make it a fun back and forth that doesn't get absolutely smoked in two shots with certain builds like IBIS.
didn't notice any of that when wiping it with quad grenade launchers.
>That image
Amazing.
for those out of the loop:
>guy takes 5 and a half minutes to give a fifteen second tutorial
That story shit just pisses me off. If somebody wastes my time like that I will just do everything to fuck them over.
he ironically gives le bad advice
people pay for this shit
Could I really just get away with debt if I give the debt collector a sob story and ask if I could just pay $11 a month?
debt collectors will come out on top nearly every time
I beat BALTEUS on Saturday... was the patch already in effect?
Im sorry. You didnt make it.
I'm gonna need you to turn over your gaming loisens
This isn't as much of a consideration in PvE but it is a niche use there too.
if she can pinpoint your direction with 0 delay then it's input reading, yes
The technology to calculate lead on a target has existed since like the 60s. Your in-game FCS does the same thing.
if the opponent moves too abruptly it also takes a while to catch up
That's not how that works.
In the end, it's a matter of the game focusing on reactive evasion rather than preemptive evasion (quickboosting to make the enemy have a hardtime locking or moving its arms to catch you in time)
honestly, it is pretty great when ai dodges your attacks sometimes. But ibis is just a little too much.
>input reading
cope
the only input reading it does is dodging your hits
getting hit by her swords is a skill issue, she's leading her shots, shitter
The attack doesn't actually finish tracking until the projectile is out that is why if you qb too early behind it the blade will come from behind it.
this is correct, there is no input reading, people dodge too early and it locks on/does the attack when they dodged
The Sea Spider nerf was deserved. That bro was just too tanky so even after I learned the fight and could do it easily it was still a slog.
Yikes
What's the build to easy S rank missions?
dual gatlings/zimmerman/bad cook and dual stun needles
isn't 2gat pretty bad for S rank because you use fuckloads of ammo?
I have 100% on steam and from what I can tell ammo doesn't play a big factor in S ranks. It's mostly
>Killing special enemies (the ones that contain batte logs)
>Speed (gotta go fast)
And that's it. I've healed and used checkpoints and still gotten an S rank.
>and used checkpoints
are you for fucking real
Not him but usually when I had to use a checkpoint I didn't get an S, not sure if that was the act of using it in the first place or a byproduct of having to use it means you're going overtime
Probably the latter.
dual gats isn't great for S ranking most missions just because the ammo costs hurt your ranking for most of them.
They're pretty good for just the missions that are focused around boss fights since those seem a bit more just based around how fast you can beat the boss with the least amount of damage taken and ammo efficiency is not as big of a priority.
Dual zimmerman, dual stun needles
Reverse joint and lightest parts that can carry them
Zimmies + Songbirds
alternatively get some Truenos on NG++ from the new analysis fights
I know everyone loves zimmermans but I've found this more consistently reliable. You're generally able to clear missions faster because of the huge increase in range and fire rate. It's still very much so capable of pulling off the same memes zimmerman does with a stun+double shot combo. You'll pretty much instantly crush any enemy AC and almost any non-boss non-AC enemy will die in one shot to the lasers.
The changes to Balteus aren't going to make him easier for shitters because they never touched the bazooka. If you watch scrubs, they get hit by that all the time despite the giant warning box and bleeps.
They didn’t? Honestly felt that it has worse tracking now.
Missiles home slightly less, that's it
Are rifles any good now?
Ransetsu
>thus he continues to take on debt with no intention of repayment.
lost
Heh, I have Free™ copy so no forced patches for me.
if they are going to nerf bosses for retards, why not just add an easy mode? They are doing this to make the game more accessible since these bosses filtered the fuck out of players
piratechads winning once again
Why are retards pretending this patch isn't a good thing? Pretty much every weapon is viable now
The kinetic weapon boost was justified. Most people are actually upset about making bosses easier
I'm okay with C-spider losing some of his resistances. It might actually be possible to kill him with an energy loadout now. I'm sure it was before, but the amount of time and effort expended when you could just bring kinetic weapons was not worth it.
I smoked him with an energy weapon build on my first playthrough and it only got easier as you get better parts.
>Don't even care that Balteus filtered me
lol ok
just get a plasma weapon, anon.
Here's a guide I found useful for him https://youtube.com/shorts/C01cVjqzuqI?si=A8KNp3tZ759Xt_55
>Don't even care that Balteus filtered me
lmfao
It's not Soulslike, you retard monkey.
>From releases another unfinished game
>Spends the next 3-6 months patching it
>Fromdrones get mad the game is being made easier
>Instead of getting mad that the game wasn't fucking done
right, not to mention from has done this with every single game and the fromshitters act shocked and appalled each time.
the nerf isn't even big, just that missiles for balteus home a bit less, a bit more damage taken for sea spider, ibis does a bit less damage for a single attack only
Ibis lost like 8000 health
Sea spider is a pushover now
5% extra damage taken isn't a big change It barely cuts off 20 seconds off the fight
where are you people getting numbers from?
It's like a 21-27% damage boost for explosive and energy weapons, and 7% for kinetic
Sea Spider was always a pushover.
Sea spider only has like 2 dangerous attacks (stomp and sweeping laser) and both are extremely telegraphed and easy to dodge, I've had more trouble with cleaner
If you killed them after the patch you did not beat the game
Balteus really didn't need a nerf at all.
Sea Spider was too tanky but I don't think needed as big of a nerf as they gave.
Ibis nerfs should have just been to some of those one shot combos damage and not hitting her HP.
Balteus missiles were a bit intense and that flame sword attack had a hitbox that was impossible to avoid when close enough
>flame sword attack had a hitbox that was impossible to avoid when close enough
How is the flamethrower even real haha bro just jump haha
Maybe others did but Balteus just in the grand scheme of things didn't seem like that big of a challenge, only took a few attempts to get a feel for him and then that was it even on the first go on release day.
Impossible for you. I was able to dodge it most of the time
>shitters
bro shut the fuck up unless you've S ranked all missions.
you cant talk shit for doing all endings when cheese builds destroy everything
What attacks did they even change? Or is it just a flat damage nerf?
>shitters playing a shit genre
>that AC color palette too
this seriously can't be a coincidence
It has the smallest stagger bar of any boss come the fuck on. The freaking allmind mechs in that one mission are tougher than Ibis.
>dodges it
>flies away
>stagger goes back to zero in a flash
>shoots 530419 lasers at you
>undodgeable laser cannon
>energy wave combo when you're close
>le epic big energy bird sweeping the area thrice in the second phase that does a fuckton of damage
>no pause after the bird
Fon't shoot it while it's flying in neutral. Wait for it to do a move you can punish. It can't react-dodge if it's in the middle of a high-commitment move.
This is not complicated.
Has AC never had vibroblade weapons? I'd like a generic combat knife looking thing
Why the fuck would they have vibroblades if they already have fuckin lazor swords? The chainsaw is already ridiculous in a setting like that.
You kinda answered your own question by bringing up the chainsaw. If a current-tech chainsaw can work, what makes you think a vibro blade would be obsolete?
You had solid blades like the Kumos in gen5
Has anyone looked at the steam forums to the game? Holy fuck.
>Didn't nerf the shotgun
>Didn't (and probably never will) rework stagger
>ARs and SMGs are still trash
>Gutted bosses
I hate this dogshit game so much
Shotguns don't need nerfs, FS got it right by just buffing the other guns and making them more viable, if anything they could go for another round of buffs on both ARs/SMGs and Lasers/Plasma, and the bosses.
Actually really disappointed as I bought the game but just haven't had time to even start it up yet.
Now I'll never have the satisfaction of beating it as actually intended.
Honestly thought that CNANG-CHENS were fine before the patch.
But thanks for the buff.
I'm actually getting filtered by the ng++ final boss. I cant fucking take it.
Is this how Iguazu felt? AM I THE FUCKING IGUAZU NOW?
I'm so mad at this fucker.
What a coincidence, I'm fighting it right now as well.
I keep fucking running out of ammo near the end. I guess I finally have to switch my build up.
Same. For reason I just couldn't crack this one like I did the others.
dont fight the spiders, kite the boss away, at 50% he kills them and it becomes a 1v1
Just cry and wait for a nerf
>spends entire game condescending everyone acting obnoxiously arrogant
>plans to sacrifice you so Arquebus can take the RLF wall for themselves
>spends the Iceworm allied mission doing nothing but barking insults
>contracts Rusty through Arquebus to end up fighting you to eliminate at least one of you
>attacks you from behind like a coward to take you down
>neglects you enough to arrange you consigned underground to the sewers like trash
>has Walter re-educated/altered to act as an IBIS stop-gap in case a Coral collapse happens
>raves like a madman that he thinks you're vermin simply because you ignored him
>fucking fights you with Batleus, he's that much of a cheating bitch
>goes out like a total pussy having Walter kill Rusty off-screen
>"I-I'm doing it! I'm keeping up with a merc!"
That hurt. Guy really thought he was the protagonist for a moment.
Makes it even funnier though when he says that & right after you melt him with the weps you got
>ALLMIND doesn't intercept Maeterlinck's escape pod and brainwash her into Independent Mercenary, Kate Markson
She missed her chance with 621
>Don't forget how he left Maeterlinck and that other guy for death even though she was crying and begging him for backup
I honestly felt sorry for her. If I could, I would spare her and make her a part of the team.
I was just S ranking that mission and about to sad post about her begging for help. Makes killing snail feel so much better
Ambushing him on NG++ was very satisfying.
At what point on the game does Walter get RD'd? I seem to have missed that detail even through I've played through it multiple times
After you kill Ibis and Snail caca shoots you in the back.
So he gets captured the time as you. I must have missed that detail somehow
Yeah, the problem is we don't know how much time passes between Snail shoots you and then you crawl into the sewers.
It's insane how useless he was during the worm fight and he uses a fucking worm needle. Chatty the MVP for lasting the longest.
>fucking fights you with Batleus, he's that much of a cheating bitch
Wait, so if I update the game I won't be able to kick his shit in at his worst?
Only the normal Balteus was nerfed. Snail Balteus is still the same.
Heh, I wonder if this is simply because too few people got so far to fight Snailteus and complain about it
dont care he still sounds hot as fuck
I like the Jap VAs more, the english voice acting just feels corny.
>as he stabbed you in the back
He wouldn't even do that. He'd just shoot you in the face.
>AC emblem is a face within a face
>the empty space between the faces also look like faces
How the fuck did I not notice this.
Also killing this fucker in Baltaeus because he is so fuck-ass mad was so satisfying.
Anyone who didn't beat the game before the patch didn't beat the game
If you didn't do Fires of Raven ending first you're a simp, and the storytelling of your next ending isn't as good thematically. Just how it is.
Huh so fires of raven is the most common first ending, just got it yesterday
I do think ibis needed a tiny nerf, I was going a light melee build with reverse joint legs and the three energy slash combo is complete bullshit when it's done point blank, sometimes doing it 4 times in a row
It's the only attack I complain about, everything else is fine. But damn I hated when I charged with the lance and missed for a millimeter because she dodged backwards just in time. I did change to pile bunker at the end just to nuke the shit out of her when staggered
I also had a little trouble against ayre , hard to dodge the melee attacks and the shield regenerates way too fast, but not as hard as ibis
I think there's a pretty easy opener for Ibis where you just jump up frame 1 move forward a little and immediately full laser lance melee as Ibis tries to fly forward and they'll eat that and get auto staggered.
or just tank a couple hits, assault armor, over half its health is now gone.
Yeah there are s few openings, the one where he first shoots some lasers and does one slash through you. You can evade it but flying straight and dodging to the left and if you are close enough you stagger it with the lance
You can't tank a couple hits with light armor, as in less than 9k health. If he does the triple slash combo and the first one hits you, you are eating all 3, getting staggered and if he initiates the same attack again, which is quite common, you don't recover in time and die
Most people just pick the first decision missions
bump
I agree about the liberation ending being better for a second playthrough but I didn't know at the time
I'm on my second playthrough and I didn't choose to kill G4 and G5 because I want to see what happens if I kill Swinburne and/or don't kill Michigan later on
Will the things I did actually change something or am I just repeating the game for no reason
Pardon my retardation I fucked up the spoiler tags
The first two endings depends on your decisions during the last two chapters. The third ending is locked into NG++ and you have to pick the ALLMIND decision missions to get it, also betraying Iguazu during the dam mission makes sense for that route.
Ok I guess I made the right choice then
I felt bad for Michigan but I didn't want to go against my buddy. Or so I thought but I was a fool
All the guides say you do, but idk. I was lazy and did not accept on ng++ before i looked up guides to see if i fucked up. They said I did yet i still got the true ending.
true end just needs you to do the ng++ missions
It unlocks new missions
Liberator ending was overall better it's just too bad it requires you taking out Carla who's better than Ayre by a mile.
fellow best girl enjoyer. her Jap VA makes her pure waifu material.
My bad king, I just had to go schizo for those crimson particles cheeks. For I am a robo simp.
Sorry but I need the Walter Head Part for my EVA-01 LARP build
>If you didn't do Fires of Raven ending first you're a simp,
ironically, i did fires of raven first because i didn't want to kill carla.
walter, carla, chatty are simply good people and killing them just because a voice in your head doesn't like how they want to deal with coral, would be retarded. choosing to fight for the liberation front is fine, but at the time of choosing it was literally "kill carla lmao, coral is my brothers and sister or some shit"
Too much Schrodinger's going on with these paths, where simply choosing to fight your way through Xylem for a different target suddenly has Walter disappear like he died or have Rusty know what's going on and so forth.
>hate Carla cause she is a shitter with a cancerous rocket spam build
>game gives me the option to murder her
>take it
>get the liberator ending
Hey, don't blame me
Kek same, I was just jealous that I didn't have access to whatever shoulder rocket launchers she had, and hoped I'd get it if I murdered her
sorry, the coral is getting BLEACHED in every playthrough
>Option A Walter's sweaty AC gooch
>Option B Coral Pussy
I'm choosing B gay
Ibis is still going to rape lol they only nerfed the sword attack so it doesn't twoshot you from full.
DSP killed Ibis on his first try by just spamming with a tank build.
Every boss is easy with an easy modo build
>his chat tells him what to do
>WOOOOOOW the game was easy, ack ack ack ack ack
>Assault boost into every boss while holding down RT/LT an periodically pressing shoulder buttons
>either they die or I die
It's ridiculous
>assault rifles buffed
>machine guns buffed
>handguns didn't get buffed
so close
Handguns are fine. I ran dual handguns for the latter half of my NG and all of my NG+.
>Ludlows get more damage
nice
>and more ammo
WE SO FUCKING BACK BOYS
The burst handgun is the only one that needs a buff
i just redid all the nerfed bosses, balteus and ibis feel no different, especially if you are at the point where you know the fight by heart
sea spider fight is a bit quicker, albeit it was quick either way if you used pilebunker
Did they nerf any Sekiro bosses? I don't remember.
back in 2019 or 2020 or whenever that shit released, fromsoft still wasn't as mainstream as today, elden ring was a turning point for the company to turn pure slop
Well at least Armored Core much like Sekiro has excellent gameplay.
>wasn't as mainstream
Fromsoft has been been mainstream since 2011, fucking what.
The Dark Souls series took a "most anticipated game" award every fucking time they showed a trailer, you can't be this fucking clueless.
Blazing Bull is the only I remember. It was a real pain in the ass when I did a NG charmless demon bell run before the patch, so whatever they did to tone it down after was probably deserved.
To this day I still have no idea how you're supposed to beat the bull without getting hurt unless you spam the fireworks.
>guys!
>me and my 3 dipshit nolifer internet friends say 'git gud!'
>Got a job for you, 621.
>Word has it that V.VI Maeterlink has a fat ass. I need you to investigate and find out the truth.
>Maeterlinck has returned from a long range expedition. 621 you are to retrieve her pilot suit before it can be washed.
>Maeterlinck hasn't been returning my messages. This kind of insult can't be tolerated - take care of it, 621. Leave no witnesses.
>mid mission decision: ayre tells you bring her with you after she starts pathetically begging for her life
>new mission: you and ayre train maeterlinck
Shitter here: Thanks based nips for the fun patch.
So what the fuck was Kate
Allmind or a person assimilated into Allmind.
An attractive and talented AC pilot. Wouldn’t she make a great couple with Augmented Human C4-621, Callsign: Raven?
I think Ayre would not be too fond of another woman trying to hit on Raven.
C-Pulse Wave Mutation: Ayre is not relevant to this conversation.
Listen, I'm just saying. There is only enough room in Raven's head for one woman and that space is already taken. Bitch
I see. Perhaps Redgun Gun 5, Callsign: Iguazu, would appreciate Kate more.
He also only cares about Raven. I think once he gets a chance to fight him he will just ignore you...
I'd say Iguazu can do whatever he likes, but we both know all he can do is die like a bitch.
Independent Mercenary Kate Markson definitely exists and is very physically attractive
Jesus christ anon
>Has the same VA as Allmind
>Only appears on Allmind missions
>Uses an Allmind AC
>Doesn't even bother to stop her voice filter during her post mission thank you message
I fucking love how overt she is about it. She's so bad at hiding it.
Is FROM making a commentary on AI generation? It kind of feels like it is.
Well there were those data logs about AI art
>Logs about AI Art
>AI powered AC is named "Chatty" (ChatGPT or Chatbot)
>AI the ultimately the major antagonist
I dunno anon I think it's all a coincidence
Not to mention AC's history of evil AIs in general, all the way back to the first game.
Man I really should've paid more attention lmao
OK a better question would be, why did the coral transports matter? Or stopping the BAWS plant inspection?
>why did the coral transports matter?
Coral only mutates in high density. Depleting or splitting it interferes delays Coral Release. Also exporting it would garner even more exterior attention and ALLMIND already has problems dealing with current events from the shadows.
>Or stopping the BAWS plant inspection?
The pool of coral was a secret
Just an independent merc
MAD STOMP!
Holy Kinoly
>Final boss is the lame jobber you scrape off your boot every three mission
Genuinely what did From mean by this?
He's not even difficult for subversion's sake. Despite his speshul snowflake supermech and plethora of backup dancers, he still bites it like a fucking chump.
He’s the only other Gen 4. ALLMIND in his head, Ayre in yours.
This, it was easily the most memorable final boss fromsoft has made.
You have to admit the difficulty curve sucks in this game. Also did in previous games (specially another age) but that's no justification in the end
They made the bosses harder. Buffs across the board.
>see that they nerfed Ibis
"Huh, it probably isn't that bad, let me have a look-"
>S-Rank it efortlessly by just flying up to it and empying pistols on it's face because it lost so much of it's agression and moves way slower
Jesus christ, thank fuck I fully cleared the game already. This is Radahn-tier, it's easy as fuck now.
>playing through NG+
>Get to Balteus
>missiles barely scratch me and I turn him into paste
huh
Balteus is actually kinda easy as fuck on NG+ anyway because you've got better parts, to be fair, but yeah. Ibis is just - nothing now.
Wow anon you're such a progamer, even though the IBIS nerf was just some damage on some attacks it's so effortless for you. We're all very impressed by how much of a le jaded pro gamer you are, please fuck my pussy
what the fuck are you talking about, retard.
Last phase Iguazu with 3 times the hp would've made a good standalone boss
instead you have 2 pointless phases that only exists to sap your ammo and maybe make you heal once
>Fought Ibis so much that I can get her down to half health in her first phase within 10 seconds
>Also fought Ibis so much that I was jaded and not really paying attention when I beat her
At least fighting a fucking Valvrave was fun for a bit.
Even the biggest shitters already beat the game a few times. Game is old news now.
It will be an actual patch for shitters when they fix the AI sometimes doing moves faster than they should. (gun has 5 second recovery, AI uses it 4 times in 6 seconds)
Still too easy.
i'm missing one cheevo it's hidden what is it??
go outside
Is the Stun Baton any good?
nah
It looks cool though.
It honestly sucks how I can’t get past the basic sword.
I get the reasoning, but every other melee feels clunky in most missions
You mean the pulse sword? It's probably because its diagonal slashes are hard to miss with.
just beat it today
was stuck on snail it counts
>beat balteus now post-patch after
Based, thank you FromSoft
Honestly I think he is marginally easier, you still need to use pulse armor properly and have a decent loadoat to beat him.
As a mid-range fag you didn't have much chance last time
>you still need to use pulse armor
Anon, you do realize that you can assault boost past the missiles, right?
You need Armour and plenty of AP to withstand the sword when he hits you with it, and enough health overall following from all the missile barrages.
>and enough health overall following from all the missile barrages.
It's too bad you can't get that weird disc thing the boss before the good ending final boss uses.
Damn, I've been slow due to work and typical exhaustion, so I have only gotten past the Sea Spider.
Shame I couldn't play against the original Ibis. That would've been fun
bros, yesterday i beat Balteus, Roomba Cleaner and the Sea Spider. 18k AP tank is fun as fuck
so Ganker
type A controls or type B?
Mouse and keyboard
i custom mapped them to play like 4th gen
i literally killed ibis on my first try
Does the accuracy chip also affect the shoulder drone weapons?
I’m honestly having a lot of fun of spamming the little guys
accuracy affects anything with high guidance
I'm ready to follow after her this next run.
>called "Bitter Promise" because he keeps on taking debt that he will never honor
KINO
>fought ibis for 2 hours last night and rage quit
>beat it on first try today after nerf
I'm sorry this was taken from you. It would've felt good
As someone who beat it on release, fuck no. Ibis fucking blows.
it really wasn't that bad. i didn't even ezmode it with zimmies or gatling, you just need to use hardlock
But I won
I.....won.......
>11 September
Anon.. I'm sorry
>beat it
you didn't beat her
>missed a log again in Ibis' stage
cant you just go back an update? Have I really just made the game easier for myself because my own fault for taking this long to beat it?
You will never be an armored core 6 beater. Never.
Glad i completely demolished this game before the patch hahaha
What do I play now? I dont want to stop shootin robos
Think there's an emblem for beating the game with loader 4??
The energy weapons suck dick except for the satellite dish guns
You know energy weapon damage is determined by what generator you use?
With the right setup, energy weapons fucking slap, especially charged up
No fully playable disc version - No buy
We will never ever digital
*SPITS ON MONITOR

>"Contains download code"
Got it once as gift, stopped being friends and meeting with that girl
BAWS I OWE YOU OVER 2000
ARQUEBUS I OWE YOU OVER 2000
SCHNEIDER I OWE YOU OVER 2000
BALAM I OWE YOU... A LOT OF COAM
I AM STEALING FROM YOU
I AM STEALING FROM YOU
I AM STEALING FROM YOU
forgot
>S ranked Balteus alt mission right before the update, without using zimms, stun needles, songbirds, etc.
It was with the ng++ coral weapons, which are pretty good.
so allmind definitely wanted sulla(expansion bait) instead of iguazu right? and she was trying to take ayres role in the coral release
Seems like.
>Get someone competent as the second factor (ie Sulla)
>Use Coral to expand and replicate conscious across the stars.
ai is always right in the ac universe so i bet she will have the last laugh. i hope they make 621 the final boss in the expansion game/sequel
Today I learned ziyi is one of the 5 RLF fingers
I thought little was an endearment term
its a bit of both. since she is so young, and everyone wants to protect her.
Post yfw S-ranked Ibis before the patch
I dont mind the game getting its journalist patch a few weeks down the line. Feels good knowing I clapped the hardest bosses in this game and didnt have to use the zimmies to do it
What did the update change?
>Struggle on the first boss
>Unlock Zimms
>Every boss dies in <1 minute
Some guns in this game are just not fair and ruin the fun completely, the only way to enjoy the game is to intentionally nerf yourself by using dog shit weapons that are just worse in everyway
This is the only mech game in years worth playing... we cant complain...
I heard it's like Ace Combat but more grounded, will I do alright?
Planning on getting this when the eventual sale hits.
>mech
>more grounded
I meant as in "You spend way more time on the ground but still maneuver it like a plane"
the story and character is more like Ace Combat style even one of the character a tribute to one of the ACombat popular character. I'm pretty sure one of the writer or maybe Project Ace team help them write some of it.
If you liked ACombat/Wingman style of story yes you will really liked it because I am one too
i've been playing normally for hours after the patch and didn't noticed jackshit, what changed?
>zimmers untouched
I beat ibis first try tbh
you didn't
Everyone gives iguazu shit but it seems like he's legitimately losing his mind and has no idea what's going on so everyone just gives him shit because you're on the receiving end.
*after you keep owning him.
he was chosen, but he was number 2 to your 1. probably because his stupid ass didnt change builds until forced. he is the retarded amuro ray vs char aka (you)
What does the pre order code unlock?
Was Allmind also a Coral voice? Why does an AI want the Coral to take over the galaxy?
throwback to old armored cores. Ayre didn't want 621 to die or for both of them to be used as pawns, so they fight back against ALLMIND.
lore summary of 9ball btw
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
>I MAXXED OUT 9 CREDIT CARDS FOR MY FUCKING PERKS
>nerfed sea spiders health
I remember making a post a few days ago about that very boss having too much health and how I kept running out of ammo fighting it, almost necessitating a melee weapon, and as always several xX360noscopeXx ebin gamers chimed in to call me a shitter for not effortlessly shitting on the boss like they did. It's all so tiresome.
shitter
I was right. IM ALWAYS RIGHT. I also made the argument that balteus was a relatively fair boss but was too much of a sudden difficulty spike that could also use a minor nerf of some more challenging enemies placed before him, which I also got flammed for.
am i doing it right
I'm sorry anon, but you MUST use a pulse bubble gun...
Wrong core, too.
I would recommend the pulse gun if using just one wasn't complete garbage and it also didnt look like trash so its just pretending for the laser rifle, or waltuh's rifle for me
i saw the stream. nice gameplay
i just hope that From changed the bosses because they were overtuned in their own opinion and not because people complained
So what exactly does the true ending mean, that coral spread everywhere and they started possessing any AC they could find and you're going to kick their asses because you activate combat mode?
everyone gets a coral waifu
No
Wait was every boss nerfed? I beat Ayre today after the patch. No...
Maybe you got gud instead
>Wait was every boss nerfed?
No, just Belteus, Sea Spider and IBIS.
If you think that kinetic rifles didn't need a buff, you are a zimmer gay
No buffs were needed except for your skill, shitter.
i literally bought the game because i saw how much streamers were struggling with balteus and i wanted to see for myself how hard he was. you're telling me i can't do that now because he's nerfed? nice, 60€ down the drain i guess
That's what you get for treating a video game like some kind of proving ground.
You're a bigger gay than any streamer. A colossal gay, as it were.
huh? why?
No you didn't
You kind of sound like a gay anon
Just pirate the on release version or some shit, if all you're after is e-dick
I appreciate how everyone just agrees that white-haired red girls wearing breezy sundresses is PEAK aesthetic for supernatural women.
Now I get why people say don't sleep on the Truenos.
Yeah more damage than songbirds if you hit them during stagger and way more range
>pulse guns still dogshit
Could've made the one weapon designed to counter Balteus good instead of just nerfing Balteus himself.
Piece of shit overheats so quickly and if you DARE use it to damage Balteus directly you will run out of ammo immediately.
kys simp
I dunno, I beat him on my first try after I swapped to bubbleguns. It made him unable to keep his shield up for very long.
>that sick ass entrance
>killing Chatty just to make fighting you more interesting
>"Our objective is to seize the Xylem, you can ignore the mutt."
>"Yes, Snail, you're right."
>disconnects comms
How did you interpret him saying
>"I need... more..."
in that context.
This is his arena bio btw
>non-enchanced guy keeping up and even beating people who have had multiple humanplus-esque surgeries
what a god
Can you imagine how hard this guy was making Snail seethe?
>Ranked V.I with no augmentations while Snail has his own batch of test dummies to sacrifice and let him upgrade safely and consistantly
>Does not take charge of the Vespers despite having every right to do so, leaving Snail with all the busy work
>The one time Snail really needs him to come through he disconnects comms, charges in against orders to kill 621 and fucking dies
Supposedly coral weapons don't benefit from energy weapon spec and are kind of their own thing.
>coral weapons dont benefit from coral engine
thats retarded
He was a pure fight-fag, I love these characters. Same autism as the protagonist
Carla sure was a sentimental idiot for not making copies of Chatt or upload/download him into the AC between sorties.
Just stole an idea from tumblr:
Armored Core 6 nuzlocke. When your AC is kill, you can't use any of its parts anymore.
>"nice shooting"
yeah fuck you kate i know you're not doing anything
I don't give a shit about the patch.
My biggest gripe is I can't make my ac look cool.
>beat Balteus
>beat Sea Spider
>didn't reach Ibis before the nerf
Did the nerf patch come out already? I haven't had a chance to play it yet, I wanted to finish Book of Hours first.
The post-patch Ransetsu is a bit of a motherfucker
definitely a sleeper weapon right now, been messing with a dual ransetsu build
>They nerfed this fucking boss
I genuinely do not fucking understand.
you mech is bumblebee?
probably one of the bosses where double zimmerman doesn't work, or something
they nerfed how much damage Ibis does to you, because beforehand if you were a little over half AP it could potentially hit you once or twice hard enough to just gib you outright. 15-25% damage reduction depending on the specific attack hitting you.
otherwise Ibis was always a glass cannon that you can kill and stagger easy so long as you hit it when it's open rather than attacking non-stop
>Cataphract boss realizes you're not Raven
>Shits his pants and sends the combat log to the PCA
>... Nothing comes from this.
Really big missed opportunity to have that affect a later mission where they come with something designed to counter (you) instead of Raven.
Isn't the PCA just following ALLMIND's orders anyways?
ALLMIND likely already knew it, so
I believe that's the implication. The PCA basically operate on a flowchart dictated by Allmind's directions, so if she never alters the info they get they don't change their approach.
If it's not Allmind then it's another AI because they routinely refer to 'the system' when talking about their directives.
No, the PCA follows a different AI, the Enforcer System which is fused to the generator that powers the shield to the Institute city. The PCA freaks out at 621 not because of his mercenary data but because they had ample experience dealing with threal Raven reaping havoc
best theme
for me, it's analysis
I HATE MARKETABLE CORPORATE MASCOTS
I HATE MARKETABLE CORPORATE MASCOTS
> pic
Who’s author? I need his doujins in my life
what did Iguazu mean when he said this ghost of me won't last long? like what would happen to him? why did allmind even need iguazu to be here?
Always buy fromgames on launch before all shitty nerfs. Always.
Does anyone have Ayre's dialogue after you finish the very last arena fight?
>DISMANTLE CORAL FAGS
DESTROY MELEE COMBO SHITTERS
>EXECUTE DUAL ZIMMER KIDDIES
I fucking love this PvP shit
> mommy! Look! Im contrarian gay!
ooh I'm sorry, did I hit your special spot?
No, did I?
the pvp is kinda garbage considering how poorly ACs are balanced across the weight classes
the only issue it has is not being able to re-assembly between rounds. Tetra flying missile spam can be impossible if you dont have the build for it
the better solution would be to make winners in "losers rotate" rooms unable to swap builds until they lose
would help people being fags and counterpicking every single person they fight
>corporations spend billions to come up with bettter weapons and research more effective combat
>none of them figure out dual zimmermans and dual songbirds
explain this shit
I really wanted to get this shot. Sorry for resolution.
Webm. Sorry my AC's in the way.
>Left just a few S-ranks that were untouched by the patch for later
>Nobody will believe I beat the game.
Anyone else think Ayre sounds really hot when she calls you Raven in the JP dub?
i wish they'd just let us select regulations like in ac4/acfa so that i can continue playing on the vanilla day1 release version.
fucking snowflakes always gotta ruin shit for other people
Wait, what happened? Are zimmerman's nerfed now?
No they nerfed the bosses which is his real problem
The Zimmerman's are only 'nerfed' in the sense that the patch buffed a bunch of guns but frankly the difference is minimal outside of just making the obvious counter pick options against Zimmermans easy to determine.
Not that Zimmies were the biggest cancer in PVP that shit goes to Siege Missle tank fags and stun gun/stun needle fags.
For prosperity sake
~~*THEY/THEM*~~ are here in these threads and have been doing this shit for weeks now
Do not take bait earnestly whatsoever
Don't make me point at the sign
Shut the fuck up, will ya?
Unless I missed an alt mission
>iguazu
He'll be back
Soon you'll see
>Also what the fuck is Ayre's AC?
Then again, there was no reason NOT to broadcast their intentions if they were friendly to the RLF like in the Liberator ending, so I guess there is a thread of continuity there
So I haven't missed anything, right?
Either way off to NG++ I go~
Oh fuck you meant? Ayre's as final boss, thats SOL and Ibis weapon like CEL and HAL
Why did janny mongoloid delete my post?
https://arch.b4k.co/v/thread/650440865/#q650441029
Because they are seething a storm up right now diapers full the whole 9 yards
Does this game get harder? I'm honestly surprised this game was made by FROM as it's been a complete cakewalk so far.
Just finished Chapter 1.
No it's really easy
The weapons are really unbalanced. Your experience depends too much on them. If you find it too easy you might be using cheat weapons and you didnt beat the game.
>cheat weapons
lol what? i'm just using a laser rifle and a laser pistol
Im using bare punching. You didnt beat the game.
so is it better to use a weapon bay Sword instead of 2 missile racks so I can get some actual dmg during staggers?
Against balteus? You can get away with spamming missiles and your RH gun. Really you should be hitting him with the plasma sword as much as you can. It's plasma so it shreds the pulse armor batleus has too.
After an hour of trying with my bipedal mech I accidentally built this monster which let me ignore his mechanics entirely
did you think we wouldn't know
>people unironically using walkthroughs in an "action" game
Ganker has fallen
That's my retard rundown on missiles, try the weapon bay and report back
A lot of the gameplay is about making good use of stagger
energy weapon bros? am i losing it or is the nebula plasma rifle just better than the 760PR?
nebula is weaker but shoots faster, and being able to get more shots off means its DOT zones are more plentiful
i feel like i can get staggers off way easier with it
im trying out the second coral generator too, which is why im trying the energy weapons since it boosts their damage
Nebula has a bigger, stronger, higher impact charge attack that doesn't overheat the gun as well
Used two of them for ng++, love that gun against anything but fast airborne targets
its meant to be a casual game retard. if you find it challenging youre the shitter
Your desperation is palatable
tried this out and I didn't like how unresponsive it felt due to momentum and cool downs, not a fan of slow response for attacks and such, I like combat to be as snappy as possible, but that's not to say the game is bad, just not my thing. (someone will get triggered at this anyway)
are old ACs all like this? Still not ruling out the possibility of them being fun.
Theres tons of weapons without long cooldowns anon, I was annoyed by that at the start too tho
I was thinking that would be the case since everyone talks about how customization is important, looks like I shot it down too soon, beat the first boss second try but I didn't wanna invest my time in case it was gonna feel like that for most of the game.
Hmm I'll give it a go again later I guess.
Yeah thats the cool part. I build ultra light speedster types with fast weapons for that reason
Looks sick too, love the fading paint.
My dude just uninstall the game and then install it from the disc while your console is offline if you want to play it unpatched.
>caring about "story" in a mech game
Yikes
Isn't the patch MP only?
3 boss nerfs.
3 boss adjustments but unwashed showerlets think it's a "nerf".
Similar to how Radahn's broken hitboxes were fixed and people screamed "nerf".
Sounds like someones mad they didn't beat Radahn before he was nerfed.
Lmao get owned, noob.
ummm sweetie, about that...
>Steam Achievement
Lmao doesn't mean shit. You could unlock all steam cheevos by using SAM without having to play the game at all.
PS Trophies are the only ones that matter.
seethe
Cope and mald, cheater.
Is balteus really easier now ? What did they change exactly ?
