You couldn't just crop out the watermark? I mean that's what I'd expect from a lazy centrist but still

Why should he put in the effort? I mean you don’t that’s why you fall for the false dichotomies bullshit.

Far Cry 5 was a good storyline? The game was a bit rough, but fun enough to play.
I don't know what to tell you dude.

right leaning? they constantly put down theism and religious belief if you listen to the npc chatter in the game. but it's funny that the main ending is the ending where the yellow sunglass dude's prophecy is right

The game is about a rookie deputy helping hardworking Christians fight off a psychotic doomsday cult and their false prophet. There was a whole fricking thread about this a few days ago.

        >false prophet
Doesn't a false prophet have to be wrong to be considered false? Had everyone followed Seed's plan, they would all have found salvation after the nuke dropped.

Having awareness of global political strife doesn’t make you a prophet it just means you’re up to date on current events. They wouldn’t have since Joseph was the only one to follow his own plan and he ended up with another dead kid begging for death, which I gave him.

            >Having awareness of global political strife
He predicts a fricking apocalyptic nuclear war. That's a tad above being "aware of global political strife".

Yeah and the radio spells that shit out for you during the course of the game, if Joseph’s a prophet then so is Dutch.

The radio pussyfoots around the impending end of the world. He tells you the world is going to end. Big fricking difference. Hell, it's the point of the whole fricking plot.

Yeah and again seeing the signs and noticing shit doesn’t make you a prophet.

The main character systematically dismantles bunkers that were being prepared for the eventuality he warned of. These were being maintained by hundreds of "cultists" the main character murdered on his way through. To say no one was following his plan but himself is moronic.

They don't put down theism, they put down cult thinking. Some of your allies in the game are Christian.

        This is contradictory.

No it isn't. I'd love to have a theological debate with you, but tragically this is Ganker and it'd be off topic.

He probably realized how empty life is when you cynically deny anything spiritual and supernatural for the sake of telling your parents to go frick themselves.

A few reasons, I don't know. I was raised in a non-religious household, so I never had any real exposure to it aside from my grandparents and I thought they were silly for believing in that stuff. Went to church with them maybe three or four times, and bible camp once, but it never clicked.
A few years ago, I had a really bad panic attack, and prayed. I can already tell you're going to say something along the lines of "oh, so FEAR made you convert?" because that's what I would have done, but that was only part of it.
I prayed that if God helped me through the panic attack, I would give genuinely reading the gospel a shot. My fear subsided, and the next morning I dug out the bible my grandma had gotten me years before.
                Something clicked, I guess.
I'm still a bad person, I make a lot of mistakes, but my faith is a real thing that's hard to explain to someone who doesn't believe and I know this because I was there once.
I really hope that you find God someday, and I'll pray that you do.

Game isn't right leaning at all. They just made the mistake of hiring some genuinely good artists to make their satirical music and ended up making kino.

    >right leaning
FC5 isn't politically leaning in any direction though.
Sure it presents a lot of political views but none of them are explicitly stated as being correct. It's possible to discuss politics without trying to claim your opinions are the only correct ones.
