Top of the line cards are a scam. What do you even fricking need a $2500 card for? Cyberpunk?
    >but I can afford it
You can also afford a $20 big mac, that wouldn't make it a good deal.

-90 tier cards aren't even an "I can afford it" thing, it's the kind of product bought by people who never even have to stop to think about affordability. They just point at things and get them.

You'd think so but no, my moron coworker who makes $15/hour bought a $4000 prebuilt.

The 4090 is the only 4000 card worth buying.

All the lower cards are just as overpriced but you get israeliteed on vram on top of that.

I fricking love that the 4060 offers 10% higher FPS than the 3060 but 33% less VRAM and as a result ends up costing $10 more. Card so shit it can't even make the last gen equivalent have a real price drop.

      >Cyberpunk?
Lots of games at 4k are demanding enough to completely murder a 4090 and something like Cyberpunk is so demanding at max settings even a 4090 needs BOTH resolution upscaling and frame generation at the same time to get 60+ FPS. Even if you had something twice the performance of a 4090 you'd still likely be unable to play that game maxed out at native 4k 60+ FPS and with no frame gen.

7800X3D and 4070ti, you'll be set for the next 10 years easily. Gaming """technology""" has hit a fast plateau, just like batteries. You can pay big money for big number that really doesn't give you any advantage, or you can be smart and use that money to fuel your alcoholism(like me).

I hope you mean the 4070TI super pooper because the default one is awful. Hell every 4000 series card that isn't a super sucks ass.

You will never understand why you fail

Black person the 4070 TI is rendered entirely obsolete by the 4070 super. Who the frick is gonna pay an extra $150 for 5% higher FPS?

New PC now then sell your card on ebay when 5090 comes out. If that card is comfortably within your budget then losing $700 should be like water off a duck's back to you.

Yeah I'd get cucked with 8gb VRAM but I play on 1080p240hz and tend to drop settings for FPS anyway.

If you need the performance of a 5090 then you should probably wait since it's supposed to be coming this year. What PC are you currently running? Is it so shit you need to upgrade immediately?
