Yes? Small or not has nothing to do with politics.

You should always pirate from devs that are morons.

Not my frickin problem few people give out demos anymore.

This too. I'm a dev, and I give out demos for my games if they're paid. If you like it, buy it. If not, thanks for playing the demo!
Rather than fight piracy, I'm gonna make my next game instead.

Sure, why not? Why would you feel bad about a studio? They're a corporation.

Its actually funny how Ganker berates people for looting and stealing and calling it ghetto behavior but they're instantly all for pirating like it's totally different somehow. Still the same "gibs me dat" behavior they claim to hate.

If you genuinely can't tell the difference then i'm sure you can't picture an apple in your mind

        Piracy isn't stealing though.

You want something for free that people pay for so you acquire it illegally, it's exactly the same
There is nothing wrong with it as long as you internalize the fact you're no better than nigs

This is such an entitled take.
Everyone wants free gibs, regardless of race.
You just don't understand that the pirating community is both irrelevant and unmarketable. It's like trying to market purses for men. They will never buy it and you're wasting your time.
Focus on syphoning money from the actual market instead. Pride month? Make a pride DLC. Watch it sell like hotcakes to some alphabets.

This. The alphabet community aren't the brightest crayon in the pack.

Looting and burning down a small business is not the same as not giving some shitty dev some money.

If the goddamn devs won't make demos anymore, I won't refrain from seeing if the game's worthy my money.

      This website is fricking dead
Literally no more original content or idea comes from here. This year has seen the actual and unironic death of Ganker as we know it, now it's just part of the centralized social media group. If you want to have actual discourse with humans and not braindead algorithm chasers, well you have real life now. Internet is dead and unironically IRL is when you will find the autists and outcasts now

will your 20 dollars or whatever make any real difference in how successful the game is? consider that steam takes 30%, then the publisher gets his share if there is one, then there's taxes. the company gets maybe 7 dollars in the end, that has to be divided among the employees.

so the truth is it doesnt make any difference whatsoever if you buy it or not. and 20 dollars is worth so much more to you, than what 33 cents means to one of the programmers.

and then somebody will argue that "but what if everyone thought like that" but that's a fallacy because everyone wont think like that, and the people who do think like that wont change their minds because you decide to buy it.

so in the end there's no reason not to pirate video games.

I am a s.all time dev and I fully support people pirating the games that I made.

I consider Steam sales to be more of a tip or a kind gesture than anything, but my number one priority is to provide entertainment to people, while also creating things out of a passion for creating games.
