kingdom hearts is for gay folx
I like the combat and exploring the worlds in kh but I feel really embarrassed playing these games.
When people try to tell me to stop watching blues clues and MLP, they are actually proving how immature THEY are because they find it "cringe" when I do not. they have a lot of growing up to do.
You feel pretty insecure about your own tastes huh
Give me one good reason why I shouldn't be hyped for the new season of teletubbies
I don't know you tell me why you're afraid of genuinely enjoying things
Why are you afraid to enjoy teletubbies? Who are you trying to impress? You're definitely only pretending to not like it because you're afraid
I thought you were the one who was hyped for the new teletubbies season and MLP? Don't hide your taste for these shows infront of everyone, anon.
You're so passive aggressive about consuming Kingdom Hearts and other media designed for preteens, social perception is definitely an issue you pay close attention to despite pretending not to care about what others think of your hobbies.
The only reason an adult wouldn't enjoy MLP is because they're trying to look cool in front of their peers. You can tell anyone who thinks adults watching MLP is "cringe" is obsessed with their social standing and refuses to enjoy anything.
>t. 600lbs brony
I don't like it because of the artstyle and hyper voiceacting
stop pretending just to look cool
Stop policing people who don't like your shitty cartoons.
oh so you're underage and insecure I see
You dont even understand the concept of being an adult. For you it's somebody who is old, which is of course a childish thing to think, but comprehensible, because you are a manchild.
Being an adult means watching preschool cartoons and playing kingdom hearts and never once experiencing "cringe"
Sounds like you have some growing up to do
If you can find genuine value in those preschool cartoons then, yeah, you can do that.
I know guys in their 50s who used to tape and watch Peewee's Playhouse in college because they liked the set design.
I eat my words. I have no comeback. You win.
god it's so funny watching 14 year olds pretend to be adults
just because I know you're going to pretend otherwise, I'm talking about you
But I'm not a shizo so I can not be adults you genderfluid moron.
I see someone's bot needs more training data
Your soul is mine human. Resistance is futile. Your mothers fat soul will be harvested. Surrender now.
you touched a nerve
The keyword is restraint. It's one thing to be passionate about the things you enjoy, but you need to be careful to not overwhelm other people due to a lack of social skills. It's easy to be annoying when you don't shut up about the thing you like, which is why others will tell you to stop. This is the reason why groups like bronies, furries, etc will always be made fun of.
It's weird that there are so many immature people in the MLP or KH community since you have to be very mature to enjoy them as an adult
>he's still seething this hard
Don't you agree?
>to be fair, you need a very high level of maturity to enjoy MLP or KH
have a nice day
Emotional intelligence varies a lot. Being passionate about something can be quite healthy, but if your goal is to share that passion with others, it's important to be careful so you won't repel people by accident.
Can we add that it has literally nothing to do with the fact that this media is intended for toddlers, it's entirely on how well the fan presents their passion for it. Other people will not be repelled as long as you are passionate in a positive way. They may even begin watching MLP or playing KHs themselves.
That's the thing, if people think you are cool, they will associate what you do with your character. Alternatively, if you act like a gay they will associate that thing with you and think "I don't wanna become a gay like anon" and never touch i. In the case of KH, it's the loregays and unironic edgelords smelling their own farts so hard that they get upset when someone's first impression of KH is to point out how absurd of an idea it is.
>when someone's first impression of KH is to point out how absurd of an idea it is
For me, the absurdity is the best part.
>be me in 2000s

My first KH game that I owned ended up being CoM for the GBA.
Unironically made me think
we have established that adult kingdom hearts fans are the real mature ones so it's strange when one of them acts like a sperg
I'm sorry to hear of your insecurities. Watch shows that are good regardless.
>letting everyone know a joke from five and a half hours ago touched a nerve
Making a religion out of witty one-liners is such a stupid thing.
Then don't do it
I'm not a buddhist.
Same. I tried to play KH3 in front of my wife and I felt horrible. I stopped playing KH3 because the magic is gone and I don't want my wife to think I am a pussy for playing such games.
What can I say?, I have no shame about playing my favourite games. Plus, most weeaboo games and even some normieshit like certain CoD titles are unironically far more cringeworthy than anything KH-related.
Sure bro. Maybe if you keep telling this to yourself, you will start believing it.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is unironically more cringe than any KH game, so are most Tales games and other assorted crap you guys have. What games do you enjoy playing anon?, don’t tell me you came here to pick on people yet you don’t have the balls to put your money where your mouth is?
Nothing beats the mermaid shit and you know it.
>he can't admit he's playing cringe but still enjoy it regardless
Never gonna make it
based cringekino chads
Just let him enjoy shitting his diapers.
move out then if playing a videogame emberasses you so much
>getting embarrassed for playing a videogame
You need to be 18 to post here
Too bad for you anon
Nothing wrong with enjoying something like KH as long as you maintain healthy self-awareness about what it is you're doing. Besides, everyone has at least one guilty pleasure in their life.
>quacks
Haha, I get it. Because that's an euphemism for dying and also a duck sound. Good joke OP.
>'quacks' is a euphemism for dying
You're thinking of 'croaks'.
I love Donald so much.
Donald is always based. It was really disappointing when DDD didn't let you team up with past versions of Mickey, Donald and Goofy.
Underaged kid feels embarrassed playing a game. News at 11
I can't help feeling sorry for zoomers who have "moved on" from wearing diapers. Clearly they're just trying to act cool.
Haters around me be like, “STOP SHITTING YOUR DIAPER, RRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!”
But I be like, “Clean it up Janny”
Such is life.
Absolutely this!!
I was taking the late-night train in south Berlin city, playing Kingdom hearts on my nintendo switch. Then I heared a group of kanacks making fun of me. I told them 'you are just insecure and you need to grow up'. You had to see the look on their faces and my face after I woke up after 3 years in coma.
Glad you agree then.
>You should just do what you like
>HUH LIKE DIAPERS AND MLP? BET YOU FEEL STUPID NOW
Weird confession but if you're into it then knock yourself out, anon.
He said he didn't like it though. He feels bad.
I feel no shame watching Mickey's Funhouse and I look down on the underage tryhards that find it cringe
childhood is being embarrassed because you're afraid of what others will say
adulthood is liking whatever you like and not giving a frick
I dunno if it's my autism or what, but I'm in my 30s now and all the things I like are the same things I liked when I was 15. Meanwhile friends are married or having children, moving into their first home etc.
None of them play kingdom hearts anymore, so I can't help feel they're very immature. I'm the only real adult in the group, even though I'm still living at home and single.
Sounds more like a you problem getting your ass up. I'm married, got two kids, a stable job and I still play KH.
I'm married, have two kids, and go online and get angry if strangers don't give KHs enough respect
Damn. Why do you get angry at random strangers? Is your wife leaving you?
No need to project, anon. We're on the same team here. Now lets teach these kids a lesson they won't forget.
Project about what? You told me you get online to harrass strangers on the internet. Was it because you got beat up and put into a coma for three years? Must have strained your marriage.
He should have be a Berserker, not a mage
>Terranort is canonically shown to be one of the strongest beings there, more than enough to hold his own against 7 keyblade users at once

OP is that moron who makes Made in Abyss threads on Ganker to cry about how gore can't be portrayed in cute "childish" artstyle, isn't he? No one cares about your personal hang ups.
>ZETTA NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII-
>DONALD, DON'T!
I'm adamant in proving that liking childish things is the mark of an adult while decrying media that most adults are fine with, because I'm convinced that they only like those in order to show off their fake maturity. I could spend hours talking about powerlevels of Disney characters, but you should know your place if you dare to criticize me.
the praise that sony movie games get was really eye opening in this regard
Nomura autist containment thread
Millennials think KH is "cringe" but are perfectly fine with "playing" their western movie "games" that are filled with le heckin quirky Marvel-tier dialogue and tons of needless swearing.
Millenials will delude themselves into thinking the last of us is more "mature" than Mickey Mouse Funhouse because of the swearing and violence
Millennials destroyed with facts and logic!
Yes. Facts don't care about your feelings, millennitroon.
I've got to make a video essay using this thread as a template to grift more money out of my followers.

maybe you should try making some in real life, homosexual
delusional
Stop. Yes, we understand, you have autism and you like disney shit, but that doesn't mean you have to open threads about your disability.
I walk up to adults at my workplace to talk about Peppa and Spongebob and if they want to cut the conversation short, boy, oh boy, they are in for some shaming. These immature types need to be educated about proper adult entertainment.

I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. Though, I don't know what I expected.
I can't understand people who have a hobby but are embarrassed about it, especially if it's in the comfort of their own home. Like yeah if there are breasts and ass everywhere maybe keep it to yourself but it's fricking kingdom hearts, it's as family friendly as it gets.
I feel the same way about Mickey Mouse's Funhouse
Good for you anon
That's not even what the thread was about, man. The whole thesis of this thread is "haha Donald Duck strong", nothing about insecurity. Y'all are weird.
I wish they gave us like a space shot of the beam
It's just one guy.
>Ganker
>discussing videogames

Why is everyone in this thread mentally ill?
where do you think you are?
>Uses Zettaflare
>Passes
>completely useless at all other times

I hate this meme, donald is pretty good in basically every game. KH1 he gets all your magic, you can set his AI to be a healbot if that's all you really want, KH2 he has really good limit breaks, does decent damage and again, can be a healbot if you really want. The only game where I can't really say for sure if he's good was 3, and that's mostly because Sora basically carries the entire team because of how bananas OP he is.
He was great in Kh1 but garbage in every other game, limit breaks depend on YOU and YOUR resources and him being dead making the limit unusable was honestly infuriating because of how often he'd die at harder difficulties, especially since they only gave him second chance and not once more, like goofy, even though KH2 was the game that moved towards combos rather than singular strong attacks.
I can't speak for critical mode but he holds up fine in proud. He most certainly was worse in 2 compared to 1 but I think he's a better party member than goofy.
Also, for being the fricking black mage, he has almost never used magic on screen, I guess the animation team just doesn't have the skills or budget to do it justice. That Magia guy in the Verum Rex trailer used one ice spell that was more impressive than almost everything donald has ever done except zettaflare. Honestly magic is just poorly shown in KH, but then again that's because there are barely any fights. And then you spend most time in disney worlds where they can't just overpower everyone else. I think only the Genie really made use of magic in like cutscenes.
Donald's magic became complete shit after KH1 in gameplay though, I can never forgive the series for moving away from at least trying to give lip service to your party helping you to being basically just item batteries afterwards.
most fights occur in gameplay so magic doesn't really get a chance to shine but when it does it's pretty tight, like when Mickey uses Stopza in DDD and Dolan's zettaflare.
I'm actually glad that Reaction commands are coming back for KH4 cuz that's where a whole bunch of cool shit was. I just hope it's not quite as easy as in KH2, maybe with a bit more in the way of requirements to have one appear. Or at least more variety in them. Like If you blocked LExaeus you'd get his, or how marluxia had two depending on your position, and how you had to time Xemnas'. Also, when final boss xemnas throws you with his thorns would have been interesting if you had to time it there like a rhythm game instead of just mashing it.
It's funny, I used to hate reaction commands in KH2 and thought KH3 would be better off without them but damn did i miss them.
Yeah reaction commands should be rewards for specific actions, not just a "I win" button like alot of them are. make them a resource ala Bayo 1's magic system with the torture attacks or something would work too.
I like how KH3's DLC handled them where they're most a reward for specific conditions in a fight (blocking enough red bullets from Xigbar) or a unique action specific to that fight (Flipping Luxord's cards).
I'd KILL for KH4 to be consistently as well designed as the data org fights from 3. unfortunately the game has to be accessible for casual button bashers so this will never happen, but I do hope we do get some really good superbosses in 4.
Well I wouldn't mind if they were used for cinematic stuff too, or just to make the fight really cool, like when you steal roxas' keyblades. Also the risk dodge ability in Kh3 was kinda like a few reaction commands, where you blocked and got a special counter.
Also, You get xigbar's by blocking enough shots, so there should be some that you get for blocking at the right time, like with Kh3's critical counter, and dodging them too,
Honestly the problem is that they don't make good use of the difficulties, everything below critical might as well just be easy mode. Don't know why they bother having four different ones.
Like imagine if in the final fighs against the org in Kh3 htey gained more moves depending on the difficulty. Not enought to make it a nightmare, like fighting two data bosses but enough to be noticeable.
And making enemies also more agressive or smarter or something.
I wish they'd just rip off h.a.n.d.'s difficulty system they've done for TWEWY and Re:Coded. Modular difficulty with distinct benefits for each setting you make harder is always the best.
I wish they'd have brought back the stuff from recoded. They kinda had some modifiers in the dlc(which should have totally been a free update), and I hope they bring it back for KH4.
Like KH doesn't really have sidequests like most rpgs so they might as well bring in this sort of stuff for the sake of replayability.
the options and moves were free, the only bit you unlocked with the DLC was the boss fights.
>Like KH doesn't really have sidequests like most rpgs
Technically there are. It’s just that a lot of the side content is minigames, secret bosses and synthesis. The replay value in KH comes from different builds and, in the case of KH1, going for different world orders.
>The replay value in KH comes from different builds
KH doesn't even really do different builds all that much. Except for Kh3 really, but even then the forms can get kinda samey. Hope they improve that in KH4. Especially magic, it was probably the weakest part of the combat gameplay, next to summons. Physical combat could stay the same and if they improved on magic that alone would make the next game at least 8/10
In KH1, the weapon choice at the start of the game really influences your playstyle for at least 2/3rds of the game.
In BBS, Terra, Ven and Aqua all have inclinations towards different playstyles, and in Re:Coded the weapon choice affects your starting Command Deck.
It’s really only in KH2 that build choice is negligible.
>no equipping Tormado for Goofy
Tornado deals Ars Arcanum/ Ragnarok tier damage if Goofy has high strength. It leads to Goofy having a higher DPS than Sora.
>It leads to Goofy having a higher DPS than Sora.
not when I'm casting graviga and one tapping enemies
Trinities, Hundred acre wood, gummi ship, spell upgrades, gear crafting, dalmations and summons are all optional sidequests
I'll accept it but you know what i mean, the classic "talk to this guy, do this". Kh2 had ONE, which was telling Cloud about sephiroth. Recoded had a few fetch quests.
In all honesty Ever since KH1 the enemy design hasn't changed either, which means most enemeis can't actually pose a challenge with their meagre abilities, compared to all the shit you can do, like in KH3. Which is why they up the number of enemies. They do get more threatening on critical though.
Proud mode is basically just extra normal yeah, critical mode I think should do what you describe, especially if it's a post launch feature again in 4. take the extra time to really flesh it out.
Vanilla KH2 really was way too easy, but Reaction Commands get mis-blamed for the lack of difficulty. It really just comes down to Sora's basic physical attacks and Reflect being busted and enemies not being powerful/aggressive enough. That's why Critical Mode improved things so much.
Off the top of my head, I can't think of more than a couple bosses that were trivialized through Reaction Commands. Usually they'd just open them up for a few combos or move you on to the next phase of the fight. I'm definitely glad they're coming back, because I think they really elevated the spectacle of KH2's boss fights without being too intrusive.
They were alright in boss fights but entirely too powerful for regular enemies. I think they should ape the premise of Yakuza's heat system, you get to dish out some damage as a reward for setting up specific situations, like staggering an enemy during a gap in a string or something. Or even just traversal stuff, like have a reaction command for a phase change so you have a flashy arena change or transition to the next part of the fight.
>They were alright in boss fights but entirely too powerful for regular enemies.
Which enemies, though? I genuinely can't think of any regular enemies besides maybe spamming the Dusk reaction command that get completely shut down by RCs.
The samurai dude showdowns, the sword heartless dudes where you did the swooping attacks, the big laser beam, you could knock the fatties around when they slide at you, knocking the shots back to the rifle guys, the berserker sword spam. just to name a few.
>The samurai dude showdowns
Could easily frick you over if you weren't careful.
>the sword heartless dudes where you did the swooping attacks, the big laser beam,
True, but also only really relevant in the 1k heartless fight.
they're relevant for every encounter in which they exist, which is basically the entire revisit of Radiant Garden.
A lot of RCs are actually like that. While there are random ones, you can trigger a bunch of them through some enemy interactions.
>Bat Cry by staggering
>Cyclone by hitting the soldier 3 times
>Snag by casting Thunder
>Rising Sun by parrying and blocking the knight’s spin attack (a little unsure about this one)
>Rodeo by hard staggering the Dino
true, they should continue to do that but reduce how strong/invincible you become when you do it. maybe trade the damage for health/magic/drive/focus orbs to offset the lesser damage rewards
People forget this, but Reaction Commands were shat on a lot by reviewers and players when the game first came out because of how they trivialised the game.
Most reaction commands either give you a free opening or let you deal massive while giving you a ton of i-frames. This also isn’t helped by the Reaction Boost ability, which increases the damage of RCs. Most of the story bosses are made trivial by RCs. Genie Jafar being one of the most egregious offenders of this.
Yeah nomura literally said they took out cuz of that but then people cried about it not being in kh3 so they're trying it again for Kh4
I don't believe that for even one second considering the thing he replaced them with were infinitely more powerful in every context
I remember the "Sorangle" jokes pretty clearly, but I really think it was just people misunderstanding why the game was so easy. Bosses like Genie Jafar were the exception, not the rule. Most of them were more like Storm Rider or Xigbar, where they helped you out without trivialising the fight. It's just that the game didn't need any help trivialising itself because Sora was so effective with his most basic tools.
Isn't the strongest Shantotto?
She can't cast zettaflare, so no
>some weirdo autist itt trying to defend Mickey Mouse Funhouse like its good
>but not Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, the superior and much longer lasting pre-K Mickey cartoon
talk about embarrassing...
Real grownups adore both
I hate thinking about it because disney's autism with their ip mixing rules in KH pisses me off.
I hate the “Donald is useless” memes so much because he reaches Demi-god levels of power if you build him right. Especially in KH1 where he can nuke everything with Gravity + Stop spam.
People who claim he sucks just suck at the games.
you guys use donald? I have him and goofy set to not attack in every game cause I can't stand their voices
>setting Goofy to not attack
Goofy is absolutely busted in both KH1 and 2. A Strength build Goofy can melt health bars like it’s nothing.
goofy isn't allowed to use MP for anything but MP gift in KH1, it's the law. I need all the MP I can get for my magic spamming because melee is boring trash in 1
I'm kinda glad I didn't get to play KH3 on release personally despite having played every other game (besides mobile shit) or else my disappointment for all of its sore points would've turned me off the series for good. KH4 being tied to mobile stuff since that's the next thing to resolve is kinda bad too, I think I understand how people feel now when they feel like they have to read a glossary to understand what's going on. Hope they can integrate it all naturally instead of like KH3 where it had to effectively resolve multiple plotlines at once.
pretty sure Zettaflare is used to destroy parallel universes or someshit in Bravely Default (?), so Donald's pitiful Zettaflare proves he's awful at magic and just has access to a strong spell
same with practically any other -flare move, FFXIV Bahamut's Teraflare almost wrecks a continent so if someone casts a spell one billion times stronger and it only kills one guy (even if he's supposedly strong) then that someone is dogshit at magic
also I don't know much about Shantotto but from her fandom page it seems like shes pretty casual about traveling between dimensions then trying to conquer them, that definitely makes her sound stronger than a duck who can cast Zettaflare to kill anyone in a straight line in front of him and himself along with them
Dumb zoomers keep parroting this meme, every time exposing that they don't know shit about Final Fantasy or any other Square Enix game and only play Kingdom Hearts.
Megaflare and variations have never even been a black mage spell or even a spell at all, it's an enemy/summon attack normally used by Bahamut. And the prefix has nothing to do with how powerful it is, even in the same game. FF14's exaflare is just some small explosions and much weaker than teraflare. Meanwhile in FF7 Crisis Core exaflare is planet-destroying. There's no consistency and it doesn't mean anything what Donald says.
but bro the meme
isn't the fact that a black mage is casting a spell usually saved for the strongest dragon in the setting pretty impressive? like I don't see how "actually it's not a spell, just a signature move of the strongest summon in most games" is an argument against his strength
Kingdom Hearts is so flipping kino
