    • They should have made a cheaper option for people like us. Now I feel obligated to buy AC since I’m technically already paying for the dlc. They know exactly what they’re doing.

  1. All "pay for online" services on consoles are fucking scams. It doesn’t matter if Nintendo is charging you less and fucking you with a larger dick when you’re still getting ass blasted by Sony and MS. People only chimp out on Nintendo because they have advanced Stockholm Syndrome from years of paying for Xbox Live or PS+ and try to rationalize it away by saying that at least Sony uses lube when they get fucked in the ass.

  2. Cancelled my auto-pay so it doesn’t automatically renew. I also own my childhood N64 with an EverDrive and CRT. I’m content.

  3. The fact that you can’t buy one month of the expansion for $5 is actually insane… you’re just expected to pay $50 even if you only want to play one game and move on

It’s technically $5 a month if you think about it. :^)
Which is the shittiest excuse being made all day.

It’s really not that hard also I don’t play animal crossing so there’s zero point

  5. firmly cemented my not ever buying a switch, so good job nintendo, I guess. If they want to play the same shit as the other guys, it’d help if they released more than one game a year.

  6. Yeah I have a job, I make money, I can afford the things I want, NSO + Expansion being something I want. Feels good not being poor.

    • Same. At the prorated discount I’ll even be getting it for around the price of the DLC anyway. If it turns out to not be updated frequently enough by next year, I’ll just buy the DLC separate for the same $25-30 I would have payed to renew.

  7. So when are these games coming to Switch? I’ve wanted to play Ocarina of Time for ages but didn’t wanna pay a bunch of money for a game I might not like

  8. I love watching the paid sony shills seething over it even though their service is worth, and they dont even know since shills are mostly hired huezillians and paheets who never owned any console including the ones they defend. Only evangelical shills get to be cringier than them though both cases are scared shitless of tits and pussy all the same.

  9. Haven’t bought NSO in months after my PS4 has most of the games I enjoy playing on the long run, mainly multiplayer games, helps that it’s just generally a nicer experience all around with a few gripes.

I owned a Nintendo switch before I got a PS4. The switch outlives it’s usefulness after 2-3 years. There is no reason other than playing the 1st party titles.

    • The switch game cases are extremely aesthetic. All have the same red spine and same white font. So nice, I’ve been getting some on sale recently.

      • >and same white font
I just went to the ones I keep in my room and started pulling out 6 game sets. Couldn’t pull on that doesn’t have something different.

Some of them literally don’t even use the same font name and then center the name rather than starting them at the top.

  10. The N64 library is shit. Call me when they get glover, banjo, dk64, paper mario, mario RPG, conkers, multiplayer games confirmed to have online play like Perfect Dark or Goldeneye. I mean shit, it’s fucking nothing.

    • That’s honestly what I’m confused about. Will it automatically bump you up to the expansion when it comes out or will you keep the basic plan and have to upgrade? Either way I’m sticking to the 20 plan too

      Reply
      • Nothing changes but you can choose to upgrade at a prorated discount depending on how many days you have left in your current sub

  11. remember when nintendo didn’t scam you and you didn’t need to pay for online at all because you already pay for the internet and it costs nothing for nintendo to keep their servers up because they’re already making money via online game & content sales with said servers.
