I mean, that goes for most fandoms in sizable media franchises. So many people are caught up in canon, continuity, power levels, etc. that they fail to see the forest for the trees.
Tsukihime's world was grim, mysterious, and interesting.

Not an argument.

My argument is that at best Tsukihime is melodramatic and has a few good horror scenes. It is not a grim setting and the mysteries were character centric, not lore centric.

There was plenty of lore to it. At the time, the Church was an enigmatic power, the Dead Apostle Ancestors were a litany of interesting names with no further information, and Arcueid gave constant muttering about the year 3000.
It's meh fandisk but it's the last medium that had old Fate soul. It's worth it for moments like Lancer's past etc but nobody blames you if you drop it.
It's considerably better than FSN. There is a "serious" plot, but the vast majority is comfy interaction between characters.
I think that being able to properly understand HA is the main reason for someone to read SN.
>anything Fate
>anything Takeuchi
Just no. Read a real novel or something.
I read Water Margin, am I not allowed to consume trash next?
But you just did.
Bug excrement is still excrement.
Jokes aside Dies Irae and KKK do it better.
I mean, it's Nasu, of course someone did it better. I'm just asking if it was good fun to plow through.
It is. It's the official sequel
Fate/Stay Night sucked, so I assume the rest of the series is garbage too
The only good part about Fate is Rin's character, which is beautifully crafted.
Sakura > Rin
>worms
no thank you
If you defeat Satan you can remove the dickworms and enjoy happy vanilla with your milk cow horny wife.
Illya>Saber>Rin>Sakura
>Sword Hisui
>Worth shit
Rider > Illya > Rin > BB > Sakura > Prisma Illya > Saber Alter > Saber > Caster
It's really fun
yeah
Its a shitty singularity and a terrible fandisc.
So no.
>terrible fandisc
Where would you put Plus Disc and KT on that scale? I think + is low content but high quality.
If you liked FSN you should definitely read it.
>muh singularity
Who cares about that? The characters are what's interesting in Nasu's work.
Somehow most Type-Moon fans care more about the lore and world mechanics than the individual stories.
That's just how they justify playing the gacha. The lore really isn't that good.
People were like this back in the 00s. Autists just get stuck on the stupid stats/classes/categorization nonsense. I

Because the world is just as important as everything else.
It really isn't.
Tsukihime was beloved in spite of having a painfully nebulous world and lore so awful everyone ignored it.

because the best stories in FSN deal with the lore and world mechanics. moron
>in FSN
???
>He was reading UBW for the mechanics and not Emiya's horrible existence + Rin.
lmao
yeah it's great, i'm halfway in and it's very good
but you have to do fsn first
It's better than Fate
The MC duo are the best characters Nasu has ever written
No that would be shirou and kirei
it's unironically kino and comfy as hell, I liked it even better than fsn
It's meh fandisk but it's the last medium that had old Fate soul. It's worth it for moments like Lancer's past etc but nobody blames you if you drop it.
No its shit. Just read UBW. No one cares about Bazett
What Fate shit should I read aside from Zero and Strange Fake?
Can i read Hollow Ataraxia if i've only watched UBW and HF trilogy? Still haven't read fate route.
Tsukinohime
You will get most/all jokes but you might end up a bit confused about the details of some plot stuff

yes
it's fun
