So it's basically a non issue since they're always sold out and being played

oh yes, and nobody would store mass quantities of unopened PS5s vertically for an undisclosed amount of time for profit.

Vertical issue? Like what, discs getting scratched up if the console vibrates a little too hard again?

      Anonymous

No, parts of the console literally leaking out because of gravity and shitty engineering.

Cpu is vertical. Electrically conductive liquid metal used to cool the cpu heats up and leaks off the cpu and onto other components, frying them. The engineers (retards) never applied a barrier, so the only way to ensure it isn't going to leak is to lay the cpu horizontally.

        >the only way to ensure it isn't going to leak is to lay the cpu horizontally.
but the console literally cannot be placed horizontally, seems like a huge design flaw

Yes, they can, retard. That stand lets it sit sideways too.

How does taking it out of the box fix the issue.

      Anonymous

This. What is the difference? The boxes aren't vacuum sealed. Maybe it happens if the console isn't used regularly. Basically PS5's are just fancier old diesel trucks.

I knew it was clickbait shit when I saw the headline. I hope the gay they/them zoomer """journalist""" that published it got beat by goons hired by Sony.
