The levels are 100% made of stock assets, somebody posted the Unity store page. It's something like "modular dungeon" where you place the rooms and corridors from prefabs. I believe Nobeta herself was made by the creator since he did that porn game too, which looks similar

The fundamentals of Nobeta are really fricking good. All the spellshit and even the platforming are all very fun to control and extremely satisfying to execute. Parries are boner inducing.

I've been able to parry in Dragon's Dogma and sometimes in Demon's souls, but it's harder here.

Played the demo so long ago I didn't remember shit about the game, I still bought it back on early access because dicky.
Anyway, I played it for a bit just now, Besides the voice acting and the additional bosses/levels it really doesn't feel like the overall quality and production value of the game improved compared to early access but I bought it for 7€ so it doesn't really bother me, gameplay-wise it's rather simple but fun enough, really enjoyed how learning and improving different types of magic lets you go back and unlock previously inaccessible areas metroidvania style

Why is Nobeta fighting herself?
The Nobeta you play as up until the throne is a fake personality created as part of sealing away the real one. You start playing as the real Nobeta near the end of the game inside of her own mind and have to steal Nobeta's body back from the imposter.
They get along in the end.

How many areas are there?
After the early access portions there's a medium-scale but interesting 4th area with well hidden stuff, 5th area is very long and is the biggest area in the game with a really interesting layout to it with many secrets, 6th area is kinda short but surreal and works well for the idea it's going for (secrets are not that well hidden but are there). I will say that I think the 3rd area is still the best designed one and the secret dungeon was the most difficult portion.
The new bosses are all significantly easier than Tania and Monica which is strange. The final boss does not even have two forms, if you get her health low and let her stay that way for a while she will heal about 50% and start using new attacks, but if you kill her quickly she goes down like a b***h.
Why does jumping feel so janky in this game? Not even the double jump savages it.

The early access version took the singular dev like 3 years to make before it launched. The additional content is about equal to what the early access version had, just in reverse (as the 1st and 6th areas are the shortest). They were very open about this the entire way through if you had ever looked at the Steam store page while it was being worked on or followed any of their development updates.
The level design is still pretty damn good and needs a lot of scouring to find everything. The biggest shame with the final version is that the last two sections ditch the interconnectivity of the castle.

Mode shift gyro aim, takes some time tweaking but it's well worth it.
If you turn aim assist off the aiming with controller improves a good amount imo. It's not as good as with mouse, but I can live with it for the improved movement.

Movement's fine. Rebind jumping to space bar, running to left shift, smacking shit with one of your 90 mouse buttons, dodging with another one of your 90 mouse buttons, and you're good.
