Did you play it? It was very fun. The battle mechanics alone were superior to FF7. The dungeon crawling had tons of hidden things. It was a really neat game. Yes anime cringiness at times. But that goes with that genre/aesthetic.

i really wish symphonia would just get one more game. Dherris Kharlan war. setting between symphonia and phantasia with a comet colliding to the planet. the three gods doing at war with another. celscius disappearance. could a tales musou work?
I recently finished Symphonia and it took me ages, surprised how long that game is compared to the other Tales games before it. Really liked it and the characters felt much more memorable than the casts of other games.
Also for some reason whenever Raine would slap Llyod or Genis my emulator would always make the sound really loud which made a lot of the scenes she punished them in quite funny. Thank the devs for bringing that unicorn back so we know she's not a virgin, Llyod fricked her, right?

Honestly, this wasn't that great, but since Symphonia's been my favorite JRPG since it came out, I guess I'll be buying it anyway.
That anime was the reason i love ufotable, they really put love and passion into the adaptation, the charas were so endearing, great specials too

TOS isnt a real game. I don tunderstand the hype at all. When TOS came out people treated it like it was FF7. It was insane.

Symphonia is fun, and it was on a console lacking in good JRPGs at the time. Right game at the right moment.
