So what happened? The game got a patch that early added NG+ and fixed a ton of problems, but no one gives a frick. If you don't support this game, there will be no sequel.

It appealed to a small portion of people in the first place. Once western journalists shit on the game, it was all over.
This is one of those games where if it was a success, I would have eventually checked it out. Yet if it received bad reviews (did it ever) then I wouldn't even bother.
Why couldn't the game come out with those fixes and features already implemented?
it has 20k reviews on steam, it probably performed fine
had a budget of 163 million & sold 2 million. publisher expected 5 million
the publisher is moronic for expecting that
doubt that budget was ever proved true. that would make it more expensive than cyberpunk and that game had a multi language dub.
Order 1776 of the ps5, why would ppl support it?
>If you don't support this game, there will be no sequel.
and?
okay then I won’t play it
Did you just threaten to not play a game that doesn’t exist?
do what you want, man, but it's not like the game was unique in any significant way.
Post the dodging webm
they sold a single player game like this with an expansion pass planned from the start and totally shit the bed on making it a successor to dead space, so no i don't care, no i won't play it
If I buy the battle pass now I can get an alternate costume for a game I beat almost a month ago!? Cool!!!
if i wasnt interested enough to purchase the first game, why the frick do you think i would care that there isnt a second??
>160 MILLIONS of freedom coupons
>2 millions sold
Just another example of why you should never fall for "A new game from the original creators of that old game you love so much!"
>So what happened?
They shipped the game before finishing it
Also the gameplay looked very mediocre
It's actually not as bad as people make out (unless you play the PC version, which still seems to perform terribly). It's just a shame it isn't better - a few small tweaks and different design choices and I think it would have been more positively received. A sequel could be great, but who knows if we'll get one now.
Also NG+ seems largely pointless. I've struggled to find much info, but it seems it literally is just that your weapons and upgrades carry over without any other changes. The game is easy as it is, even on the hardest difficulty. Getting top tier guns from the start will just make it a cakewalk.
>Shit game won't get a sequel
Oh no! Anyway.
>If you don't support this game, there will be no sequel.
Good, that's the plan
I like it despite the flaws
Just platinumed it the other day
The dodging is so simple and easy yet it filtered so many people
I don't get it
I kind of figured it out.
People tilt and let go of the analog precisely when they want to dodge, which makes it so that your I-frames get cancelled mid-animation and enemies still get their hits in even if the dodge animation plays and you think you're safe, if you tilt the analog and don't let go you get full i-frames and it doesn't result in "fake dodges"
Thus, people actually playing carefully got shitty dodging that didn't work 50% of the time , and knuckle-dragging morons who would tilt the analog stick and never let go even if the dodging animation played would dodge incoming damage 100% of time.
Lesson is: DON'T FRICKING USE THE ANALOGS FOR DODGING IT'S A FRICKED CONCEPT IT NEVER FRICKING WORKS.
It's so easy that it ruins the entire game once you figure it out, there's literally no challenge and no impetus to "perfect" dodge at all since every single enemy has the same fricking pattern.
The two headed mini-boss is actually easier than regular enemies since he only swings once, allow you to shoot, dodge, shoot, dodge with no risk. Trash fricking game. I don't care how woke DS remake is but it'll be far better than this trash.
I only play fast paced arcade style games like shmups and fighting games and I want movie games to die.
Pure principle at this point. Game and company deserves to die for pulling such a lowly cash grab move. Buying the game at this point will only encourage them (and other devs)to be more subtle about it in the future
>If you don't support this game, there will be no sequel.
Game looked like shit. Modern gaming is dead
