probably sekiro because it's more fast-paced and rewarding
nioh is solid but something about the combat feels a little slippery to me. i don't think it's clicked yet though so it's just a personal thing.
>Nioh: ugliest fog effects ive ever seen in a game, retarded cutscenes >Sekiro: beautiful setpieces, imaginative feudal Japanese world, a tale of sacrifice
Sekiro has more adventure, better world geometry, better traversal, no invisible barriers, better sound design, better world design, better character design, better boss fights... eh you know what I will stop bullying you now
Nioh is a fucking moviegame with shit exploration that doesn't actually start until you play through the game for the forth time and Sekiro is a great adventure game
How can you possibly call Nioh a movie game? Everything has a buzzword now, and every time without fail you guys are somehow completely off the mark.
I like Sekiro more too, but my goodness man.
They're both good games and it doesn't need to be a pissing contest to prove what an epic gamer you are.
That's so true. You're so right. I have come to a realization that the games I like are actually not games that I like.
Thank you for opening my eyes, I will be sure to be as angry as you whenever I get a chance.
I like Nioh a lot but Sekiro mogs it. Yes, Nioh has a deeper combat with all the autismo combos but Sekiro has infinitely better plot, level design, art design, bosses, enemies and music.
Nioh is a solid 8/10 game that I always recommend but Sekiro is the rare 10/10 masterpiece that is and will be talked about for years.
Nioh for combat, enemy variety and design, different builds, replayability.
Sekiro for linearity, stealth that is barely infactful, story, world design albeit mediocre.
I jad more fun with nioh despite hating loot system
Nioh
literally completely different games
Ok, which one has better action and combat system?
probably sekiro because it's more fast-paced and rewarding
nioh is solid but something about the combat feels a little slippery to me. i don't think it's clicked yet though so it's just a personal thing.
Sekiro
entirely different games
I liked Sekiro more, but both are fun, depends on what you're looking for.
if you haven't played both you are missing out
>Nioh: ugliest fog effects ive ever seen in a game, retarded cutscenes
>Sekiro: beautiful setpieces, imaginative feudal Japanese world, a tale of sacrifice
Man this is a good post to help gays who don't like gameplay to decide what they want to watch on twitch
Sekiro has more adventure, better world geometry, better traversal, no invisible barriers, better sound design, better world design, better character design, better boss fights... eh you know what I will stop bullying you now
If you're looking for a really good samurai diablosouls go for nioh but for a really good but short action game go for sekiro
>short action game
Sekiro took me longer (42 hours) than any Souls, all DLC included. But it was also my first
The universal consensus: Sekiro
My personal opinion and preference: Nioh.
Sekiro, just because I hate the loot system in Nioh.
Nioh is a fucking moviegame with shit exploration that doesn't actually start until you play through the game for the forth time and Sekiro is a great adventure game

No one who likes Sekiro likes Nioh. Don't pretend to be The Superior Egalitarian Man so you can win an argument against an internet stranger

>moviegame
Reminder that NIOH skips cutscenes when you challenge a boss again, meanwhile for most of them Sekiro replays them
Fromsoft prize cinema over gameplay. the biggest scam is convincing fromdrones the opposite
Nioh has more content and replay value
Nioh 2
Sekiro has better story, presentation, atmosphere and level design
Nioh 2 has better gameplay, combat, bosses and more depth
NioH actually has good gameplay so NioH.
I like Nioh a lot but Sekiro mogs it. Yes, Nioh has a deeper combat with all the autismo combos but Sekiro has infinitely better plot, level design, art design, bosses, enemies and music.

I like both because japan and samurais and shinobis and shit is fr*cking BASED
>Sekiro is better because *lists things that don't matter*
Kekking at Fromdrones
Nioh for combat, enemy variety and design, different builds, replayability.
Sekiro for linearity, stealth that is barely infactful, story, world design albeit mediocre.
I jad more fun with nioh despite hating loot system
I love both but I think Nioh 2 is better
