>The Super Suit boosts physical and magical attack and defense by 50 points each, as well as boosting speed by 30 points. Additionally, it protects completely against negative status effects and elemental attacks
I mean if you can do 100 super jumps you basically beat the game anyway with your god like reflexs
Not exactly. I have no idea why everyone is saying yes, I assume its people who have no experience landing consistent big Super Jumps themselves.
Most bosses have enough health to survive even a 100 jump Super Jump, unless they're specifically weak to Jump. But generally speaking if you can consistently land very big Super Jumps against a boss, you probably will kill it in about 2-3 turns.
Probably the only boss I can think of that you can very specifically one shot with a Super Jump is Wind Crystal.
You have to really go out of your way to pump it though. Even Wind Crystal will require two Jumps if you haven't deliberately pumped it.
They won't change the timing in the base code, I would imagine. However, the original game had a problem in it's rendering pipeline, which caused the frame you were suppose to press the Y button to get skipped on PAL versions of the game. This meant that it was almost impossible to actually complete this. Given it's a new engine, this problem is probably going to be fixed, so people will find it "easier" to actually get consecutive bounces, even though nothing has actually changed, simply because the game will render properly.
You have to do around 87 frame perfect presses in a row. The average super jump is around 13-15 jumps before it gets hard.
Mario gets overpowered with the Attack Scarf which requires only 30 super jumps. It's a flat +30 to all his stats and with the way defense works in the game he'll be invincible to everything outside of Culux and mage head smithy spells.
Yeah, good luck with that.
Yes, but it's time consuming and by the time you unlock the ability you've already got multiple ways to make your party unbeatable.
That's way, way harder than anything else in the game.
You aren't getting 100 jumps, you just aren't.
Isn't there an item you get after you do it?
Yes and its the most broken piece of shit in the game which is really saying something.
If you do 30 you get an Attack Scarf, do 100 and you get a Super Suit.

Mario also gets free hits in any boss fight with opening monologue since he attacks before they can start it.
sounds like 100 shots to me
Yes and that's why the game is casual baby garbage.
I bet you wouldn't even get over 30
No one does.
I played the original on my New 3DS.
My personal record was 14.
Yeah.
most people who played the game cannot do 100 jumps, retard
Yes but that's way harder and more deserved a win than doing it normally lmao.
Better. You can one shot everything but just using the basic jump as much as possible
Not exactly. I have no idea why everyone is saying yes, I assume its people who have no experience landing consistent big Super Jumps themselves.

You have to do it 101 times cause the first jump that you hit an enemy doesn't count
It's called soul
Bro just Geno whirl.
He said bosses.
Works on Smithy and Exor.
>Smithy
????????????????
I think I managed to get the 9999 once in my entire life and it was only because of save scumming on an emulator.
How? Its piss fucking easy to land.
Geno Whirl is an easy special to land. I can’t wait to use it against Exor again to skip that fight.
Will they change the timing in the remake? Or add a counter?
They added a counter, yes. There's nothing to suggest they'll change the timing or any reason to assume it either.

So only eurofags will have this problem.
>will
are you dumb
Of mistakenly findingg it easier than intended.
There was a PAL version of this game? Did it even release in Europe?
Anon, there is no PAL or NTSC these days
Not until the Virtual Console release, no.
Twist: you'd beat the boss faster if you just fight it
speedrunners say otherwise
Oh, lord, so if they miss this high-skill tech the run is dead? Imagine the salt
>one shot
>100 times
it's done in one turn
Is it true you can only do 100 jumps against certain enemies?
No.
11 days bros
>hitting a 3 frame window 100 times in a row makes the gsne casual baby garbage
Kek ok
If you have godlike timing skill, yes.

Attack Scarf is great but you don't know what overpowered really looks like until you pair it with the Super Suit.
No. It's a diminishing return kind of thing.
Anyway, you should use basic Jump. All the time.
It levels up.
