yeah I was just saying it because i saw someone kill snatcher mid flight when he was about to bring a big haul to the basket, just sayin is all. I see it too often in regular play as well, people either killing snatchers before they can come to basket or just ignoring them as they fly over the basket with a gazillion eggs. Obviously kill the snatcher if he is flying in the opposite direction of the basket but that’s one of the keys to high egg counts in general

I actually have some questions about the slosher and the minigun this rotation. Every time I get the minigun I don't know what my job is. I default to hoard clearing since it seems like beyond the dualies, every one has trouble doing that. With the slosher, I feel like I'm a path opener or a elite killer. Are these the right intuition?

Given an anon managed to freelance himself 233 there’s no way it’s not at least 220+. All it takes is one really good run with some competency and you’re set, ultimately raising the requirements for gold. Besides, the gold score has been increasing with each big run and eggstra work, this is no different
They had this same cope about big run, but it comes from people who dont understand that player participation is what determines egg inflation, not difficulty. The less people participate, the less shitters to bring down the average from the overfishers who get scores of 300+ (not an exagerration). Only way the egg score is lowering is if MORE people participate, which is near impossible seeing as how less and less people give a shit about eggstra over time. Dont set yourself or others up for disappointment.
Not to mention this Eggstra really isnt that much more difficult than the previous one.

On glowflies one thing i’ve seen is that people kill the snatchers way too early, leading the eggs to drop right by the waters instead of by the basket. Wait until the snatcher’s is right beside it before killing it so people don’t have to drop down to ferry eggs

Yeah it’s fucking shit, it’s not even a good sticker. The participation sticker looks better than gold and you only get ONE sticker based on your best performance.
At least with big run you get a statue, which is still kind of cringe yet better than a sticker. Not to mention you still get scales, and now double scales after they “buffed” it.
What annoys me about both modes though is their high score system that keeps inflating with each event due to lower player counts. That’s fundamentally bad game design. It shouldnt be increasing over time and just makes the rat race that much more brutal, for the same shitty rewards. Big Run has a unique issue where due to its randomness, if you want a gold run you need to be blessed by good RNG: good waves (high tide, fog etc), good weapons, and good boss spawns. In a way Eggstra is more “fair” because nothing ever changes, but that also makes it a lot more boring and tedious. The way both modes are structured is just fundamentally flawed. Still, Big Run is way better but it’s a disappointment in many ways imo.
Or they could just set score thresholds and do away with the percentage based shit. Making SR comeptitive when it's a cooperative mode is completely fucking retarded.

But this time I just cant be damned, and Im sure im not alone in that sentiment, worsening the inflation problem as more and more people just wont give a shit about these halfassed events.

Making it score based will solve the low players counts and won't force players to join a discord group server.
Another possibility is separate freelance and groups. It's not a fair competition when you have group on vocal playing for hours versus a freelancer who need to change group and weapon every shift. Idk who designed this shit system

Given the usual trends it’s gotta be 220+. A good team can average 200 eggs, and if all waves go well you can easily hit 210. Top 5% is saved for the best of the best, so you gotta do better than both of those, which can net you 220+, that’s where your top 5% lies
