Is it possible to make Crab Tank less situational in Salmon Run? To have any effect at all you need to make sure that you're actually in a safe place to use it
Just clear the garbage a bit and use it very proactively. See stingers/flyfish in near proximity and want to clear them out? Just pop that shit, probably wont find much of a better use for it unless you need to revive people in ball form or mow down a bunch of trash. Either way its worst used as a panic special, dont use it that way or you WILL waste it
You can be flanked from almost everywhere in SG so you get punished more for using it at the wrong time compared to the other maps. As soon as you see flyfish and/or stingers, assess the situation. Get in range, clear the area and then pop Tank to one-shot the bosses.
If I ever see more than 1 Big shot alive its an instant pop from me unless I have like e-liter or something

How do you get blocked as a splatana? I was tenta and I'm generally extremely mindful of blocking people's shots, especially on Grillers. I make sure to stay back, jump shot, and hold position to avoid any shots being blocked.

Why did they block your shot? You have the wiper so you should be the closest person to the tail. One point-blank charged slash + peripheral damage from your teammates is enough to stun a Griller when it passes by the platform. Then the wiper can kill the Griller in a few more point-blank swings. You already had someone roll the smallfry. Your job is to stay on the platform and not die.
