That's too bad. Might have been cool if they made it better. IDK why you're laughing like some kind of crackhead. Are companies like sports teams for you? That must be strange.
>it doesnt make sense, streaming is getting increasingly popular
I'm afraid ~~*they*~~ just not put enough microplastic in water, so people are still feeling sad when they own nothing.
>streaming is getting increasingly popular
Streaming games is not at all popular.
The only countries with the internet infrastructure to support game streaming on a widespread scale are Korea and Japan, and the former has too much of an esports culture for people to want to deal with terrible streaming input latency while the latter cares far too much about physical ownership to ever embrace streaming.
I would say that Europe might embrace streaming since Euros are moronic, but Europe may not be much more than a smoldering crater 10 years from now.
It's been a walking corpse for a while. They just decided to announce its time of death so they can move on to the next thing they'll hype up and drop in their google graveyard. Surprised they have over 200 things already in there and might get close to 300 in 5 years maybe.
>there is a guy who played 6000 hours or some stupid number on Red Dead Redemtion 2
This is a big problem with video game streaming. That guy paid at most $60 for RDR2 then played it for 250 days. I don't know how much it costs to run one of Stadia's servers for a day but I guarantee that they lost a lot more money from him playing the game than they made by him buying the game.
> Does not have a PC > Does not have a desk > Does not have a chair > Paid $60 for one game > Played it for 6000 hours
Dare I say, based anti-consoomers killed Stadia?
could care less. streaming is a cancer that has choked out small business and has made people adhd, making them unbearable. I wouldn't be surprised if gen z humor was influenced by the streaming cancer.
>platforms failing is good!
And you're on step closer to being limited to you-own-nothing confirm account with goy phone and submit to AI recording all communication world.
while streaming platforms are the devil, other streaming platforms gaining monopoly is even worse. I've never understood the glee from Ganker when they point out epic store failing. Don't you realize you're heading towards China?

Ever since poojets took over their innovation has halted. The most impressive things they accomplished (earth, street view) were over a decade ago.
>most impressive
They literally just cloned some german's hobby project

That guy spent an average of 88 days a year playing RDO since it's Stadia release

there's a community movie happening?
There's a 90% chance there won't be Chevy Chase, it won't even be worth watching.

>chinese steam failing
>closer to china
Streaming services are not totalitarian in essence, but the lack of consumer options are.
Every digital platform failing is good.
If you don't own your games, you're a moron.
OH NO NO NO

Imagine the shitstorm when Steam shuts down, lol.
>19 years later
ANY DAY NOW, STEAM IS GOING TO SHUT DOWN ANY DAY NOW AND YOURE GOING TO LOSE ALL YOUR GAMES!!!!!!
They are all in my own drives.
Remember when Google said they were going to invent negative latency to invert cause and effect? Hopefully that technology finds some other use.
Oh no!
