Might be bitching about evolution methods, since that's where you go for G-Yamask to evolve.

Oh no don't tell me there are more of those bullshit "get hit by a peeble 274 times under the moon while raining frogs on tuesday 5:00pm local time" evolutions

nobody knows how the fuck to evolve charcadet, all we have to go off of is bronzong.

Someone actually found that earlier, trade with a guy in one of the towns to get its evo item.

you need to give him 10 bronzor drops in Scarlet and some are saying 10 sinnistea drops in Violet

Quite a few this time around.

        >Buy the evo item from an NPC
        >Revive and level-up
Outside Palafin's unknown method those are the most obscure in the new games, that's nowhere fucking near the level of spamming specific Style moves or doing Runerigus' shit or flipping your console after a level-up battle.

          >Revive and level-up
is that for the Primeape evo?

Yeah, I'll grant that it's obscure but it makes sense with the Pokemon's lore and you can really easily accidentally fulfill it and figure it out right afterwards.

If they're implied by someone at some point, that's fine and cool.
Having to guess from nothing, like Runerigus is quite dumb

Do you know which ones so far?

You'd think Ganker would like the weird and obscure evolution methods. I don't know why you're sticking with the series if you're looking for a comp expansion pack with a campaign mode attached.

weird and obscure shit is only good if there's a feasible way to figure it out on your own

Most of the evolutions are feasible, to be fair. Really, the only ones you'd never inherently figure out the evolution method for or accidentally stumble across it normally is Malamar because the gyroscope's not used for fucking anything else and no NPCs mention it. Runerigus you can accidentally evolve into really easily by just Dynamaxing or using a high level G-Yamask in normal play, you won't know why exactly it evolved but you'll still get it. And so far none of the Paldea evos are unfeasible after having been figured out, with the exception of maybe Palafin once it's found.

          >feasible way to figure out on your own

          Work on your reading comprehension

You can figure them out on your own is my whole fucking point. We had people do exactly that, that's how we know how to evolve them in the first place.

What I get from your previous post is
              >It happened
              >You don't know why
              >But you figured it out
Does it even make sense ?

I dunno, in general part of me wishes there were more actual hints within the game world as to some evos. Like shit like trading Karrablast and Shelmet specifically to evolve them never really was explained much in B/W, for example. I don't mind keeping handholding to a minimum, but it'd be nice to get a little bit of info from npcs.

I don't disagree with that at all. Game's for kids, the methods should be spelled out by dialogue if they're not as simple as using an item or leveling up.
