For those who hide their power level and devour all the seasonal garbage while shitposting in /a/ threads is it actually good?
No I don't want an opinion from Netflixfags

It's good. Even if only for the Trigger gore animation.

I watched it, and immediately wanted to watch it again. That probably says something. I dunno.

The story is so bland it hurts, the characters are kind of boring and it barely has anything going for it other than the action scenes, gore, nudity and soundtrack.
By the time you're introduced to the characters in episode 1 you're pretty much able to deduce how the rest of the plot is going to go, I also just couldn't find any reason to care for the characters.
It's an enjoyable watch 6 or 7 out of 10

It's Trigger making a Cyberpunk anime with total creative control (I think). Shit's cash.

        >with total creative control

nope, CPDR staff wrote the story, i think trigger just adapted the script

Do you think trigger has ability to create bland story after watching bna?

Only watched half so far. I think it gets good after the first 2 episodes since that seems more like setup. I didn't get why they made the background for the character what they did in the first few episodes but it does come into play with episode 5. I'd probably put it into 8 or 9 out of 10 at the moment. Probably better than most Trigger stuff which has a good premise but terrible ending. That might change once I finish the last 5 episodes but it's good so far.

My complaint is that some of the gore, especially in the early episodes, looks cartoony. It looks like their limbs look like torn fabric or a popped balloon. It looks horrifying if you think about it happening in real life but it doesn't get that heavy until say episode 3 or 4 where I think they make it look good and have the impact that it's a horrifying thing to see.

Same to be honest. Edgerunners was great and I really enjoyed it, but there's just no way any of the anime translates into a game that I'll like playing.
