Why does the homosexual inflation version of this piss me off so much
Is it because you think you're clever? You're such a witty little shit because someone made a converter for this? Is it a way for you to feel like a pompous fuck because you can't imagine having patience for a sale and it helps justify taking cock from your favorite third person action movie game? Fuck you

Vidya is supposed to be getting easier to make, since you now have all of these easy-to-use tools at your disposal, on hardware that can actually handle it. If the price isn't going down, then you're asking me to pay just as much, if not more, for diminishing returns.

You WILL price your game around 10 dollars, not include DRM, and you will treat your customers like gold because we're the ones paying for your lifestyle. Otherwise, yar har.

          >You WILL price your game around 10 dollars
That's absolutely delusional considering what it costs to make a game.

Maybe you don't need 5000 diversity hire consultants and a marketing budget to rival the GDP of most small countries.

        >1998 is one of the most expensive years to be buying videogames
        >literally the best year in all of gaming
When a game is pricey to buy, the developers have the ability to take risks and actually create something of their own instead of something that will sell the highest amount of copies.
The reason Ubisoft, EA and Sony spew out only slop is that their audience demands higher and higher production values with zero intention of paying more for access to it, requiring all products to be designed-by-committee into generic trash that appeals to the largest possible demographic, and that demographic has literally no taste, which is why it works. It's something for everyone, which means nothing to no one and it's the only way to break even when your product has to be shinier and its price has to stay the same.
Then again, you can always say "stop asking for better graphics then". I agree. They should.

Because videogames are still objectively underpriced. You're still getting a good deal every time you buy a full price game.

Because they are people with slave mentality. They genuinely believe that corporations are their friends.
