Stop using the word "JRPG".

I don't think he actually said that.
He called it "discriminatory"
But I need a term to distinguish the good RPGs from the shitty wRPGs.
No.
>the double nuked nation
I no longer use that bigoted term and now call them 4NIAR (4 bros in a row) games
I never used it in the past anyway, because it's useless. It doesn't describe anything about the game in any meaningful way. A lot of video game genres are useless like that.
JRPG was an accurate descriptor for 95% of Japanese RPGs.
I accept your concession.
>dude all descriptions are useless you have to treat everything and everyone individually!
I love how middle age Japanese game devs dress and style themselves like they work at a Host bar from 2008
No. fuck you.
I don't know what else to call them.
Why is he ashamed of being japanese?
Why the fuck does everyone ignore that be said it was a bit uncomfortable in the past but it has now had a more positive connotation now?
Why? It's not like you make any?
>Stop putting morons in medieval european settings
>J-RPG
>RPG
>Can't make choices
>Instead spend 100 hours fighting and grinding
GTA is more of an RPG than any "J-RPG"
I don't, because I'm not a genretard. The problem is that the devs end up generalizing their own games.
It's probably not a great term since it actually indicates nothing about the game other than being made in Japan. But we don't have good terminology for different kinds of RPGs in general. Hell, the most famous kind of JRPG has no name other than the "four bros in a row" meme.
Go back to twitter
The term isn't literal. When you hear the term "JRPG", you picture a certain kind of game in your mind. That's what its meant for.
>It's probably not a great term since it actually indicates nothing about the game other than being made in Japan
See
Don't worry, YoshiP. No one will mistake FFXVI for a JRPG
>cries about JRPG devaluing japanese RPG devs efforts by putting all of their work and creativity into a "box
>continued to make the same games with the same mechanics and tropes for the next 20 years
????? dude played himself
I'll refer to someone else whether I should stop. Kondo-sama! What do you think?
Why does this MMO gay preach about things no one asked him for?
