This is the first SF game where offical art is much better than the actual models. And usually official SF have so much soul, why the fuck they changed it this? Looks like 2006's mobile game like Ecko's getting up mixed with chinese gacha games
Personally I'm not a fan of the input lag/delay, hate that shit in fighting games.
Hopefully the final release will be better but I'm not holding my hopes up for that.
Still getting it tho.
Usually when there is a delay between the input and the action that happens on screen, it's called input delay.
What's so fucking hard to understand this concept?
Turn off vsync if you're playing on PC and enable input delay reduction, if you're on console make sure you're not using some laggy pajeet monitor
I wish that sorta stuff was enabled by default, who knows why it isn't, I remember it being a little bit buried in the settings too. Turning that on and getting rid of vsync made things feel nicer

>I'm not a fan of the input lag/delay
i thought it was just me but there legit felt like at times my parry would just not come out when trying to count a drive impact, or my throw that im mashing on wake up doesnt seem to come out and i end up eating the throw over and over somehow. the rest i can attribute to sloppy inputs other than that the game was fun
>played this series for damn near 20 years >my tatsu input for Kimberly dropped 7 times out of 10
Thank god that one mirror match guy kept playing my sets because it was embarrassing.
this series isn't for fighting game fans anymore. it's not even for gamers anymore. It's for the guy who shot spitballs at you in math class and people who think graffiti is art.
Nut much. This is looking to potentially be bigger than SFIV. They realized how much they fucked up with V anre are genuinely trying to do better. The overall public reception is hugely positive
The only place I've seen being particularly negative about the game is Ganker, and that's just because it has black people in it
>The only place I've seen being particularly negative about the game is Ganker
bro that's because nobody outside the astroturded FGC hype gives a shit about this game. the first Guile trailer did 4M views and nothing since then has come close, because Capcom made it abundantly clear upfront that they're ditching damn near everything that made them stand out. now they're just making an uglier, more "affordable" 3D fighter for the PS4 that's getting a PS5 port, while Bamco and NRS make actual 9th Generation fighting games. homogenization is a kick in the ass when your game ends up being the ugliest outta the pool.
i'm worried Street Fighter 6 is shaping up to be worse than V, because at least V knew it was a fighting game. 6 is trying to be half single player Zoomer Shenmue with Modern Controls and half traditional fighting game with Classic Controls at the cost of 1/3rd of their DLC per Season and a level playing field for all competitors. they've spread themselves too thin for their budget and it shows all over the place. the artstyle and visual presentation, the visual fidelity of the characters, and the content offered in the Shenmue Mode are all below par for Capcom's flagship fighting game. shit is breaking my heart as an 09'er and relatively long time fan.
I think overall it's pretty good but I have some complaints: >Drive rush is too good. There's not usually a good reason to use drive meter outside of this specifically. You use it for everything: damage, oki, mix-ups, approaching, block-strings >there is barely any + on block moves so the game can kind of devolve into SamSho where both players take turns pressing a button and the only mix-up is "will they use a special or use drive meter?" >Drive reversal is borderline pointless because there are no threatening block-strings, and using 2 meters just to get out is a terrible use of meter >without using meter combos feel SFV tier >Guile is the best character and it's not remotely close. He will be even better on launch because of more favorable matchups unless he's taken down a peg
Outside of those things, the game has a good amount going for it. I'd just want to the drive system tinkered with, and add some + buttons
They hired some weird people to do character design
That is one shitty mod
We know it's you bro. Nobody's falling for it.

>input lag/delay
Feels incredibly sluggish because of this for me.
What the fuck are you talking about?
Native input delay
And what is sf6's input delay? 6f? Like SFV?

Did not know that, might give it a go but the menu system in SF6 is so fucking convoluted, shit.
I wish that sorta stuff was enabled by default, who knows why it isn't, I remember it being a little bit buried in the settings too. Turning that on and getting rid of vsync made things feel nicer
>if you're playing on PC
I played on ps5 and it felt pretty bad
Yeah but SFVI has incredibly low input delay, hence the confusion
or at least it has incredibly low delay at 120hz without vsync on my VRR monitor

Modren controls are not strong enough
Fun gameplay.
Disgusting art style.
Thoughts on the new concept art they were showing off?
Really cool
Why is a child wearing frilly underwear?
I really like the left one
Every costume Manon gets will be better than her default design I guarantee
>more anime concept art for the modeling/rendering team to butcher
hurray!
I'm convinced anyone who doesn't think Lily is cute as fuck just wants to be angry to be angry
Too many new characters they should have just made it all the characters from ssf2t
For me personally or in general? Because it's too early for the latter, we need to see sales.

did you grow up on the set of an 80s movie?

lol, the delusion on this board is insane
nu ryu and ken are good.
meant astroturfed FGC hype bubble

chud game
also it's kinda boring? modern controls makes it feel like rock paper scissors
Just change it to Classic?
