Really? I like the wall break personally. It's no fun if you're stuck in the corner the entire time. Plus if you break it with a super you can just safe jump it and push them to the corner again after the break.

Pointing out a simple fact that the old games in a particular series were better and infinitely more unique has nothing to do with nostalgia. Everyone can see it. Daisuke stopped heaving much direct input on the series after Overture and it shows on every single corner.

Nope. It's not nostalgia. I've played the old versions of XX and Strive back to back and XX is an infinitely better designed and more interesting game. Even my brother who got into the series thanks to Strive came to the conclusion that XX is a way better game. Go do something new instead of insulting and lecturing people on the anonymous website about video games.

the magic of strive ended when they start releasing dlc for it, most of the soundtracks suck ass and they ruined testament and Bridget. Happy chaos is also fucking annoying to fight
I like Baiken and HC's themes so they're fine in my book, also so few people can actually do the real annoying shit with HC.
Testament and Bridget's gameplay are fine though, good adaptation for Strive.

Strive's Air 214H is pretty neat too I guess, I did miss that.
Axl is cool in s2 though. He has a couple vaccum moves now and the command grab has a lot more use now.

I miss FDC drill and pogo shenanigans but whenever I play +R and Xrd I miss 5k > 6h and Snip/Afro oki.

Sort of, but not exactly. It does give you instant overhead conversions off j.k which is the main use of FDC if you knock them down, but it doesn't allow me to spam 5h belligerently and listen to the funny doctor man go "BWAHAHABWAHAHA"
Instead it just makes 5k more abusable in neutral and j.k more abusable in blockstrings which is fun but isn't the same.
