Didn't he want YOU to kick HIS ass?
>redguard, but can shout
>fall damage just gives him all his health back
what exactly is the lore behind this guy? did he just figure out how to open the console?
DON'T ASK UNFUN QUESTIONS!
He's a spirit of vengeance.
Summons or Karstaag. Slow time + Ebony Mail's drain health effect + a powerful weapon with good equipment should do, too.
>Summons or Karstaag
summons being reliable enough to fight the ebony warrior? you sure about that? I don't think i've ever been close to impressed by them in oblivion or skyrim
>Slow time + Ebony Mail's drain health effect + a powerful weapon with good equipment should do, too
alright fair
Summoning two dremoras while throwing spells at him with shouts can work.
2 dremora summons? when's that possible?
twin souls perk
oh yeah, for some reason that sounds familiar
when you unlock two summons
level 100 conjuration. Fodderizes too much of the game though, boring.
yeah alright fair. it's one of the things miffing me about TES. either the summons are absolute trash always or they transition into being broken instantly. i don't think i ever hit a middle ground
I wish it were limited to conjuration but they cant balance games in general. I I reset my Conjuration to 15 and Enchanting + Blacksmithing alone without any bug abusing is still enough to make Legendary + Survival pretty easy
yeah i feel that
Anybody can learn to shout.
Anyone can learn how to Shout
It's just the snowflake dragonborn that can do it without any training.
if you think about, all imperials and nords can use voice of the emporer and battle cry, so they're shouting without training too
becoming super op isn't a player only thing in the elder scrolls. There's been plenty of game breaking characters another example is divath fyr from morrowind
One of the developers randomly wanted a final challenge for the players.
>what exactly is the lore behind this guy
he's literally just some guy
then why can he shout?
The grey beards are regular humans that have mastered the way of the voice, it takes years if not decades to learn a shout, probably a lifetime to master one. Only dragon souls have the innate ability to do so without effort, I think the ebony warrior knows three shouts which is pretty impressive nonetheless
Its an avatar of ebonarm
He's autistic
He's a nordboo, that's why he also wants into sovngarde
so how does a normal player that isn't relying on exploits beat this guy?
just one shot him bro.
He's the avatar of Reman Cyrodii, but as a redguard hero god or something.
>just one shot him bro.
I SAID NO EXPLOITS
>just one shot him bro.
this is what i mean though, how does casuals not relying on exploits fight him?
I fought him after doing the dlcs, which at that point you're op. Karstaag is a challenging fight even at endgame.
i was talking about ebony warrior not karstaag
By the time you're high enough LVL to even encounter him you've got high enough Alchemy and enchanting to 1hit him anyway
Regular enchantment and weapon upgrades are all you need to win any encounter. By the time you hit the level for the ebony warrior you already have 100 alchemy smithing and enchanting, so he definitely doesn't need special strats
Ranged or magic to ignore the damage reflect perk. Alchemy for big damage if you can't kite him reliably. He's not that hard so long as he can't one-shot you with your own melee damage.
literally just hit him and keep chugging pots until he dies, but don't use power strikes because those one shot you
his fight is just as brainless as any other fight in skyrim, if it was for his damage reflect bullshit it would be even easier
reason whyyou a say the skyrim easy mode gaming is it not that you a heal potion ultimate drink everytime? just die
Brain haemorrhagebro?
Kinda want to play Skyrim again, but can't be arsed to spend a week modding it.
Is there any good mod packs out yet? I'm getting to lazy to do this shit myself.
Be a man with pair of balls and go vanilla
Both Wabbajack and now even Nexus have dozens of modpacks.
who? never met him.
Ebony Warrior, you have to reach level 80 for him to spawn
Ebony kino. Wish more armors looked that good
Ebony sucks, steel plate is the best
Look at this fat frick
Now you can enjoy a nice close look at this fat frick.
I fricking love Glass which is a miracle since Lederer's concepts are mostly shit.
>Hi ebony warrior, I'm a bit down on my luck. Could you maybe help me out with, lets say, 50 gold?
>talk to gaenor one time with 2.3 million gold
>easily afford every amount he asks for
>gaenor gets pissed at me anyway because he doesn't believe anyone would walk around with a million gold
frick you todd
Is there another game like skyrim? I just want a simple game with a big enough world to explore around and sometimes kill bad guys I guess. I've played this shit so much that there's nothing I haven't seen before.
Maybe RDR2? Haven't played it but I've heard it's good for that.
if you ever thought "man i wish there was a game like skyrim but purely medieval". kingdom come deliverance. there's also enderal which was originally a skyrim overhaul mod doing its own thing but got such good reception it's its own legit game that's free (because you can't make money off mods)
I think I like the fantasy aspect of skyrim mostly because that allows it to have interesting places to explore but I'll give KCD a try. And I didn't know about Enderal, sounds interesting. Thanks.
I've seen that too but I'd prefer to be left on my own and I'm not sure if RDR2 will do that.
>I think I like the fantasy aspect of skyrim mostly because that allows it to have interesting places to explore but I'll give KCD a try
i'm warning you. it's 0 fantasy. it's for ones medieval autism side
>And I didn't know about Enderal, sounds interesting. Thanks.
i only know it exists but nothing more than that
>medieval autism side
That's fine by me, how's the exploration in this game? I know nothing about the game and I'm interested enough to go blind.
Exploration is pretty great. Good amount of depth and tucked away little areas, with little-hand holding. Dense forests, probably the best in any game ever. Lots of quests where you actually have to find things by eye.
Some of the RPG aspects could have been better
>skill lines somewhat linear due to several skills being either/or (and there being one objectively better)
>possible not to get the master strike, a game breaker once you get it down, as it's locked behind dialogue that looks like a tutorial
>alchemy breaking the economy and one of the DLCs pretty much being built with the assumption you're abusing it to some extent
still probably the best first person RPG in the last decade though
play on hardcore and it'll be top tier. just be mindful when you go deep into the woods
Not really. The reason Skyrim is so popular despite being objectively horribly designed in almost everything it attempts is because of it's ambition. Aren't many devs out there trying to basically make a world-simulation RPG.
>full damage enchants and weapon upgrades
>thinks he can defeat me
it was over before it began
Frick I love the ebony armor in skyrim.
Slows time
Drinks my x500 2h damage pot
Stabs stabs stabs
>perma paralyze him with a bow, dont even run, just backpedal slowly every few seconds
>never take any damage
superbosses should have paralysis resistance
bu,p
