>actually works on windows 7 but doesn't because of a shitty VP9 codec exclusive to windows 10 so a shitty cutscene crashes at the beginning if you don't have it
gg; no re
It's a good game if you like English culture. The black and non-white people don't fit the rural British aesthetics, but I pretend they're just very tanned.
I wish Story of Seasons games had this aesthetics minus the diverse characters.
I'm not racist like /misc/, but I don't like adding a lot of diverse characters to rural countryside. I prefer to see the vast majority being ethnic British and whites. I feel the same way for non-Euro countries. For example, in rural Japanese community, I want to see vast majority of Japanese people, etc.
Literally have a friend from cameroon who lives in Paris and who has an absolutely massive extended family in rural GB. He says there's plenty of homies there.
>I don't like adding a lot of diverse characters to rural countryside
That's exactly where immigrants are directed to settle, since there aren't enough white people to work the farms. They've all moved to the big city to work office jobs.
Sounds like the opposite of America, but I don't care. An idyllic game is supposed to convey what is ideal. Having more ethnic people in countryside is more ideal.
Good thing people aren't making games for racist asswipes then, huh? More and more and more you'll be forced to either not play games, or play games filled with the minorities you hate, because bigots can frick off.

It's not about hating or liking minorities, you stupid brain-damaged liberal. It's about conveying what is ideal depending on context. In an idyllic rural community, you want a demographic majority of a specific race for reasons that are not reducible to racism. Homogenous societies tend to be higher trust and have higher cohesion.
For example, a game set in an African inspired rural village should be majorith black. Likewise, an English rural town should be majority white.
It's not about whether or not I like or dislike whites or blacks.

Oh well, too bad! Good thing nobody gives a dhit about the so-called "ideals" of a fricking bigot.
When minorities exist there, you cry about "ideal" or "fantasy" to try and exclude them. Then when they're not there in reality, you're all about "accuracy!". Whatever it takes to have them gone, right?
You have no ideals, you have hatred. And you're not fooling anyone with your pathetic lies.

We're here to talk about a video game, why are you shitting up the thread with your cuck fantasies?
The vast majority of characters in the game is white. There are, like, two black people and one Asian woman in Rainy Woods. I live in rural Germany and I see more ethnic people when I walk through town .
The atrocious art for that muscle bound Black makes me feel like I am seeing a Samsaric fractal of black dykes. They could have at least made her art better. She is a monstrosity worse than Azathoth.
Did anyone else lose the daytime background music? Don't think I've heard it play since the first couple of hours of the game.
Every other piece of music seems to be working fine, and I find it hard to believe that daytime is the only instance where we don't get any bgm.
It's pretty comfy but a lot of its mechanics are not explained off the bat, some of which are pretty crucial (eg managing your stamina/health/wakefulness meters). So it's an overwhelming introduction to the game.
Oh did it finally come out? I might buy it when its on sale but Swery is an actual hack unlike most people Ganker loves to put down so I won't expect much.
If you loved and I mean actually loved the first game then the ending is kind of worth it. The rest of the game is garbage and don't expect a decent port.
I love York so I was just glad to see more of him and the shifting perspective between future and past often worked really well and got me excited to keep going and see more. Unfortunately the combat gameplay is boring, the puzzles all solve themselves, and the time it takes to actually improve your stats far outweighs any time saved in the actual gameplay so doing the side stuff doesn't feel rewarding at all.
There's a couple missions that are timed but they aren't long. And it's timed as in "you must go here tonight". No clue what happens if you don't show up
>No clue what happens if you don't show up
Considering DP had the same sort of stuff and they just yelled at you for not appearing before having it happen anyway it's probably like that.
This is Swery's best game overall. It's a really comfy mix of Majora's Mask, exploration, investigation, photography, and gardening. You can take it all at your own pace. The first hour is pretty slow to get going though before it really gets going in terms of mechanics and quirky characters. There's an awful lot more to this game than it appears at first.
DP1 was an awful game in lots of respects, but the story, characters, music, and vibe all added up to make lightning in a bottle. The Good Life isn't that, but the gameplay is much more enjoyable than any of his games up to this point. If you've ever actually enjoyed the moment-to-moment gameplay of any of his past titles, you'll enjoy this.
>OOOOOOOOOOH MY GOOOOOOOOOD IS THAT A BLACK PERSON? IN A V-V-V-VIDEO GAME? SOMEONE HELP! I CAN'T HANDLE IT, I'M LITERALLY SHITTING MY BLOOD OUT BECAUSE I SAW A BLACK PERSON AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
What are good BBC tv series with a similar atmosphere to this game? I watched a couple of them already. I didn't like Lark Rise to Candleford, but I did like the older adaptation of Pride and Prejudice and Emma.
Why is there a dedicated "frolic" button? Is there an actual purpose to it later?
It's amusing seeing her skipping around with a fricking nasty frown on her face, she's such a b***h.
SWERYsisters…
The Shitch does it again
>The Good Life (BITCH)
sometimes dyslexia is a blessing
>44
How?
By not paying reviewers and having genuinely mediocre/bad game.
How is it 44 bad
>wtf this isn't animal crossing?
Ran like shit and trannies are still pissed about the villain in DP2.
He's a one hit wonder hack.
>one hit
Which was his "hit" everything he's made has been abysmal trash
bump
>>SWERY
is that the guy that ruined Deadly premonition and then wasted Microsoft money on 2 useless xbox exclusives?
>That dog
You JUST know.
That dog is actually her. So's the cat.

I'm English and you're a fricking moron who has never set foot on these blessed isles.
You are a homosexual for being English, but agreed on the demographics.

Rural england is filled with shitkins you dumbass, not even /misc/tard and I know it, I've been there
Ideal vs realism, gay
It's 2021, you'd be living a fairytale.

is not ideal*

Are you a troony?

Yet they're still throwing fits over it. Any is too many for these racist idiots.
I'm having fun
Wasn't expecting the wheelchair girl to get stabbed through the heart with a sword
Does the game still have that SWERY weirdness? I started the game and it felt more like a Harvest Moon story than anything SWERY ever made
Yea, just give it a bit. It's gets stranger as you go

DP was an accident. The man hasn't made a single good game since. Or prior for that matter.
I don't know how people still had faith in him after DP2.
DP2 is good beyond awful framerate
Oh did it finally come out? I might buy it when its on sale but Swery is an actual hack unlike most people Ganker loves to put down so I won't expect much.
should've just finished D4
I've watched 10 minutes of "gameplay" and I'm bored to death
Is it just animal crossing but without animals?
>I've watched
Leave and never come back.
I am not going to install a free game if it looks boring
It's a nice, comfy mystery-ish game. Very Stardew Valley.
DP2 is coming to steam in 2021. Do you think it's worth playing with stable 60 fps or it's complete shit?
If you loved and I mean actually loved the first game then the ending is kind of worth it. The rest of the game is garbage and don't expect a decent port.

do i need to rush at all or can i just take my own pace in the game and spend all my time farming and doing side quests until i want to move on?

He said he was willing to make D4 season 2

How's the soundtrack to the game?
Is the BBC 1975 The Good Life sitcom atmospherically similar to this game?
how to regain health
health potions from doctor / witch doctor
Who's SWERY?
I've been looking for a nice detective/adventure game. Thanks op.
How many hours with all the sidequests lads?
After the shitshow of DP2 and how everyone here sucked it's wiener, I think I am done with SWERY.
>OOOOOOOOOOH MY GOOOOOOOOOD IS THAT A BLACK PERSON? IN A V-V-V-VIDEO GAME? SOMEONE HELP! Black person.

Honestly, I feel like the games main inspiration was Hot Fuzz.
What about the 1975 BBC tv series The Good Life?
Seems about right for him
Her being able to jump less than an inch is pretty funny.
Why is there a dedicated "frolic" button? Is there an actual purpose to it later?
It's amusing seeing her skipping around with a fricking nasty frown on her face, she's such a b***h.
So is it good or what, i dont trust journos opinion. How much sjw/troony shit in it, also. I like to know.
