Warcraft III: Reforged is yet more proof Blizzard’s not the company it once was User score: 0.5. Beyond the visual downgrades, visual glitches, stutters, crashes, missing features, and connectivity issues, Blizzard now has a total disconnect with its audience.
Blizzard used to be synonymous with addicting and highly polished games, and had Midas’ golden touch for anything to do with entertainment. Now it seems as if the company is almost intentionally trying to show us just how much they just don’t give a shit. The recent launch of Warcraft III: Reforged is just the latest demonstration of the fact. The only reason this controversy has blown up at all is because it’s a remaster of a cherished classic game that was made back when Blizzard still had people with a passion for video games. Media outlets like Newsweek – while acknowledging the sorry state of the game at launch…

An army of angry Winnie the Poohs is preparing to storm this year’s BlizzCon "They can't ban us all."
Everyone is expecting this year’s BlizzCon to be a shitshow of epic proportions, and for good reasons. Now it looks like the Blizzard/China hullabaloo is even going to result in an army of Winnie the Pooh costumed activists trying to force themselves into the event. Winnie the Pooh has been banned in China ever since someone noticed the bear bears a striking resemblance to Xi Jinping. You may have already seen the many memes saying as much. This is what we need at Blizzcon, except with Winnie the Pooh.#BoycottBlizzcon #BoycottBlizzard pic.twitter.com/1aVWK1irsG — Klara Sjöberg (@klara_sjo) October 13, 2019 Winnie the Pooh cosplayers preparing to enter Blizzcon pic.twitter.com/9d3Ehir7nv — 🧸Jasmin🧸 (@Sleepy_Jasmin)…

Here’s how to play WoW Classic on your phone Do you guys not have phones?!!
Technically you always could, I hear someone saying (here‘s a video from all the way back in 2007). But this Steam Link method looks pretty functional, and will allow you to at least do some grinding while out and about. Works for both Android and iPhone. Watch this video on YouTube Or if you prefer text, u/reallybadpennystocks, who levels his dwarf priest exclusively via his phone (video), posted this handy guide: Hey guys I’ll do a write up on how I did this when I get home. Edit: GUIDE Disclaimers: May or may not be against TOS, I personally don’t care. If you play on cellular it obviously will eat…

Diablo creator David Brevik spills the beans on Blizzard A noticeably drunk Brevik joins increasing number of former employees speaking out about the issues at Blizzard.
There’s no one else in the world who would know more about the company than the executives who used to work there, and they are now speaking out about the issues at Blizzard. The studio has come under fire for its treatment of its fans following the announcement of Diablo Immortal — a mobile game that no one in the Diablo community asked for. As I described in my previous video, the studio has come into the habit of burning its bridges with the community by focusing on making money and less on delivering quality products. Blizzard appears to have lost its way, and the reason why has been elaborated…

Why video game movies fail as adaptations What are movie makers doing wrong?
There are few film genres worse than the video game movie. Throughout the years, we’ve been graced with the likes of Resident Evil, Hitman, Warcraft, and most recently, Assassin’s Creed – uninspired, spiritless films. It’s a trend that’s not likely to change so long as filmmakers don’t know how to adapt video games to the silver screen. There’s a lot that’s wrong with video game movies, and a large reason for why they’re universally mediocre is because of why they’re made in the first place. With a long history grounded in theater, good movies are usually produced for artistic reasons. And if not for art, then certainly for entertainment. A…

Fat activists furious that Overwatch character isn’t fat enough They were hoping she’d be morbidly obese.
There are a lot of things in the world to be upset about, but few issues matter as much to fat activists as the portrayal of fictional characters in video games. In a newly released Chinese New Year update for the popular video game Overwatch, one of its female characters, Mei, is depicted as not being quite as fat as her fans wanted her to be. Her new outfit reveals much more of her actual figure than before, which was always covered by a heavy parka designed to protect her from the subzero temperatures of the Arctic North. The fat activists are outraged by how athletic she is, and have…

Year in Review: 2016’s biggest freakouts over video games A shortlist of all the video games moral crusaders lost their minds over in 2016.
From sexy clothing to political references, no video game is without sin when you’re on an eternal search for content to be outraged by. The moral crusaders, who embed themselves firmly within the games press, blast their outrage to millions in the form of “hot takes” across social media and video game publications. Here are some of the many things they lost their minds over in 2016. Tracer’s Pose in Overwatch Given that Overwatch has one of the most diverse casts in any game, you’d think social justice warriors would love it. They do, to the extent that people who shoot at health packs can enjoy a video game – but…

Brazzers is making a live action Overwatch porn movie It's called Oversnatch and it was only a matter of time.
Finally someone’s stepping up to the plate and providing Overwatch’s thirsty fan base with the high budget, live action porno they’ve been craving. In just four short days Brazzers will release Oversnatch: A Brazzers XXX Parody. Watch this video on YouTube Aletta Ocean will be starring as Widowmaker, the “cock sniper” (whatever the hell that means). The promo video gives a little taste of the action, showing a fight between the sniper and Reaper (played by Danny D). The highlight is when Reaper shoots an energy blast at Widowmaker, only for her to catch it in her hand and turn it into a purple dildo. Gawd, Blizzard! Why can’t that be in the…
