4 games in a row now. Is this why everyone complains about SBMM? Does the game think I can really carry all these useless fucks?

    >be you
    >obnoxious sweat that everyone on both teams hates playing with
Remember when video games used to be about fun? Halo 3 era was the best for this, tons of community modes and forge fuckery. Call of Duty community has always been tryhard gays.

Winning is fun. Yesterday I had some great games and win or lose, they were close ones, it would be within a few kills between the teams. Now 4/5 games my team loses like 100-60 and all the other guys on my team have a .4-.7 K/D. I don't know what the fuck I did to make the game think I'm able to carry these teams

Well, it's the middle of the day on a weekday. You're probably playing with nothing but stoners and incel shut-ins. In fact, why are (You) playing Call of Duty in the middle of the day on a Tuesday?

Not middle of the day in Yurop, friend. I played in this same period yesterday and it seemed pretty normal. I know there will be idiots playing, it's COD after all, but I'd expect an even distribution of idiots between the teams.

I don't know what to tell you then. SBMM in MWII is pretty brutal, I'll get like 1-2 matches where I do well and get a 1.50+ k/d, then I'll get absolutely massacred by an entire team of sweaties pre-firing around the corner in my spawn for another 2 matches. Only real downside of this game for me so far, other than that it's the most solid Call of Duty in like 10 years.

This. Their over-the-top IM SO LE EDGY visuals paired with their total adherence to blackrock and their gay flags is peak pathetic. Anyone still buying this trash deserves what they get, but they deserve to be ridiculed for the rest of their lives.

Is there a way to disable cross platform play? I haven't really looked for the option but I'm wondering

Only if you're on PS. Sony fucking paid so that Xbox and PC owners HAVE to play with them while PS owners get the option to stay in their lane.

wouldn't stop controller players getting in your lobby anyway because so many on PC use it for aim assist advantage

Does aim assist really have an advantage over kb/m? I feel like no amount of aim assist would make me not trash with a controller.

          >Does aim assist really have an advantage over kb/m?
I remember a old article where microsoft tried to match KB/M with controller players. It was much before that whole crossplay shit.

          KB/M destroyed all controller players.
They NEED that aim assist, or they absolutely get fucked. And the assist actually assist quite a lot.

Yeah aim assist is pretty much a given for controller players but you'd think they'd look at the stats and eider nerf or buff it accordingly to try and even things out with mouse players. I'd rather filter out console players but if I have to play with them I'd rather they get aim assist because stomping on them or having a bunch on your team doesn't sound fun

I noticed this too. Does SBMM mean it puts everyone on the other team around the same skill level as me, but my team is filled with retards? Like holy shit, man. Almost every game of Domination I play, I am the ONLY person to get the spawn flag.

Yeah it really makes me wonder how that whole algorithm works. I had a really lucky game last night where I went 24-1, maybe the SBMM thinks I'm a fucking god at the game now

If you have any experience at all with CoD, you should know by now that most people treat objective gametypes like dom or hardpoint as a way to farm kills. That's hardly a new development.

    >Is this why everyone complains about SBMM? Does the game think I can really carry all these useless fucks?
Yes. For some reason everyone who hears "Skill-based matchmaking" thinks that it's a good idea and that you're gonna have every person on both teams around the same skill level. Really good players vs really good players, and really bad players vs really bad players, as if no one side should ever get stomped again. If those people actually played games they'd realize what really happens is more along the lines of

    >Team 1
    >One guy that's pretty good at the game
    >One guy that's average at the game
    >Four guys that are absolute irredeemable trash
    vs
    >Team 2
    >Two guys that are above average at the game
    >Three guys that are average at the game
    >One guy that's below average at the game

Really good players get shafted onto teams with useless players so that they either have to carry the dead weight hard as fuck or get dragged down with them.

    >SBMM
EOMM reigns supreme now, and it exists to push the right buttons to keep you playing for as long as possible.
If you're average/good, you will be used to carry low skill earners so they don't quit after getting stomped all the time.
The burden of proof is on the companies to show their matchmaking isn't rigged, and nothing but full disclose of their algorithms can put this discussion to rest.
Of course, with all these patented matchmaking algorithms, this will never happen, so it's safe to assume foul play.

Interesting. Not that it surprises me that companies would go into think kind of fuckery, but I haven't heard the term before.

You'd think the devs would nerf the auto aim when they see stats like this.
