I made a level 50-ish team of stuff I had trained for comp but didn't raise any higher.
My original team is anywhere from 82 to 100 with some of them bottlecapped too. I might make a new team but I don't even know what the level of the DLC will be. But I'd probably just use DLC pokemon so it all depends on what's available at the start.
Still gonna use my normal team. I see no reason to switch it up.
I'm using a team of 6 shinies I have that range from 18 to 31. No idea what level the DLC stuff is gonna be.

I've seen tons of people catching a shiny applin for the dlc and while it'd be stupid, I would laugh so hard if the dlc comes out and it turns out you need a applin caught in kitakami in order to evolve it into dipplin.

They not only did it in the creation method, but if you have any backup cloned rideons they won't clone the items either.

Why that level in particular?
Because if the level scaling from SwSh's DLC is in I still want to be low enough to improve but not so low it's a daunting prospect to fight anything while also having a relatively high level so I can False Swipe things with ease if the level scaling isn't in so the Heracross can be easily benched by the first low level mon I encounter.

I like the idea of my character letting his strongest team rest for a while after their big adventure ended and taking another team with him for his comfy school trip.
And obviously it'll make the battles feel different to what I was used to until now.

I'm doing this too, but sadly other team is exactly lv 78-80, minus for one that is level 15. If it's anything like SwSh I expect the levels to be at least lv60, which isn't too bad.

That's a fun one, flavorful too. Wish it had a sleep or para move... If you want to go all in on making it a catcher Pokemon, Synthesis or Roost for prolonged fights, maybe Taunt to stop annoying stuff while you try to catch. If you go with a healing move, Brave Bird is fun and synergizes with the self sustain. Triple Arrows and Leaf Blade are a no brainer for STAB moves. I take Swords Dance on my Breloom catcherbro to make False Swipe's damage less shit, so maybe that.

DLC for switch games usually comes out at either 8 or 9 PM EST, i'd assume it'll happen then
1) It happens after the treasure hunt starts which is around Level 10, so my guess is Level 10 (no badges) or Level 58 (beat the four paths).
2) Not a list but the entire Kitakami dex was leaked. Of course certain forms and likely species of Pokémon are available via transfer.

I’m just using my main story team, since I lost my old file (my fault not GameFreak/Nintendo buffoonery) and did a replay a month or two ago. They’re still endgame level so shouldn’t be too OP for the DLC.
The Basculegion was bred off of one from PLA, so it’s kind of funny it’s the only Hisuian Pokémon sans Bloom Ursaluna that’s formally in the Kitakami Dex.
