Playing devil advocate here - video games are supposed to be fun. Some people find fun in challenge but other prefer easy time. If he can play game on easy and it does not affect your own gameplay, why insulting or attacking him? We are talking about games that already have easy mode added or have enough flexibility (ER apparently) to let you adjust difficulty on your own.
Somebody playing game onn easy does not make your experience on hard bad in any way.
It's one thing to play a game on a lower difficulty, but the way these journalist have to justify themselves cheating or playing on the lowest difficulty by writing an entire article about how they're actually really cool for doing it is god damn hilarious me me.
It's as pathetic as it gets to insist validation from others by using your platform this way.
This
Either you like playing Videogames on the higher difficulties or you don‘t.
Trying to justify it only makes you sound like an insufferable homosexual
Its easy to make fun of journalists for playing on easy by just saying their bad. But I think the reality is people will play on harder difficulties when they truly enjoy a game. Anyone can learn to play and beat a video game, its fricking buttons not an olympic competition. People tend to play on easy or use cheats if they just want to get through something for whatever reason, and dont particularly enjoy it.
Everytime a journalsit is playing on easy, I highly suspect they are just playing a game they don't like. And that's probably the majority of games. Being "assigned" to review a game because someone has to get a review out on a game is bad enough already, but when you hire people who are all cut from the same californian cloth, no one will want to play those games, or many games at all. They prefer wrestling, movies, superheroes, and CNN.
I think these people prefer interactive stories over actual games. They want a situation where it feels like a desperate struggle but there is no actual risk of dying, like a movie protagonist, you know they won't die.
You know this journos do this for clickbait, right? They know angry gaymers will click on it and clickbait is how they get money. Stop falling for the same bullshit every month
I have news my brothers, polygon is firing employees, bailing water. Chances are they will be sold off and liquidated by the end of the year. Same for sites like Kotaku. Rejoice, for the lord heareth your prayer.
Polygon KEK
for game journos.
I don't see a problem. I beat Elden Ring with a sword and shield, And, I just finished RE remastered on easy mode. Frick inventory managent.
Literal room temp iq
puuuuuuuuuuuuusssssssssy
>im stupid and bad at video games

All games should rename easy to "game journalist" mode
>Select "jurno mode"
>Game opens a video with let's play
If I was developer it would be a thing.

You'd think polygon tired of being desperate.

Why do these soi guzzlers admit to being shite at games?
>Polygon
Easy mode should just have the last 20% of the game cut, frick easy mode babies
What was that brawler that ended sooner if you did pick easy mode? You could not beat that game on easy.
no idea, but the first game I recall doing that was Disney's Lion King on SNES.
Streets of Rage
Yup.
>year of our lord 2020 + 3
>still falling for game journo's bait
You know this journos do this for clickbait, right? They know angry gaymers will click on it and clickbait is how they get money. Stop falling for the same bullshit every month
Why some people in this thread care so much about how others play their games?
Every game should have extra difficulties below the usual ones. Below easy you have Pigeon, and below Pigeon you have Journalist.

Why do these morons still have jobs. What even bigger morons are giving them views and money?
>Easy difficulty ON
>Jumpscare warnings ON
>Blood OFF
>Graphic kills OFF
>Lights ON
>Diapers ON
yup, it's survival horror time
This has been the state of gaming for over a decade anon, professional videogame reviewers are invariably trash.
>Polygon shilling their bait articles on Ganker
Don't fall for it fellas
>obnoxious polygon article to bait clicks
>homosexuals still fall for it in 2023
