Intergrade is the "definitive edition" of 7R but it isn't a proper remake, just the first 5 hours of the original game padded out to 40. The entire thing will be released in multiple parts, the next one being Rebirth sometime this year or next year.

That is Crisis Core Reunion, a remake of Crisis Core
First, it's not even a real remake, but rather a stealth sequel featuring time travel. Intergrade is the definitive edition, but it's only the first game in a trilogy.
The game you're referring to is probably Crisis Core Reunion, which is a new version of Crisis Core, a prequel for the PSP that came out around 15 years ago or more.
Intergrade = "GOTY edition", includes intermission and balance changes and other stuff
Intermission = Yuffie DLC name

As part of the "newer generation" I feel like if anything the traditionally overrated titles are underrated. V in particular has been getting a lot more well-deserved recognition, but people don't give VII anywhere near the credit it deserves. I played it for the first time just a couple of years ago and it was fucking incredible. III is pretty much a beta test for V in terms of mechanics but it's still pretty good, much better than the trashfire that is II (even if II had a surprisingly good plot for its age).
Like 10% of people who act like they played VII actually played VII. It's so normalfag it wrapped back around to being niche because everyone assumes they already know the game so well there's no need to play it. It's the vidya equivalent of something like Casablanca or Citizen Kane where it just kind of goes without saying that you already know what it is.
I stopped at FFX. Once everything went online I lost interest entirely.
